FSX Gauge: VTOL/Hover for Alphasim's FSX MV22-Osprey V2.0

File Description:
This freeware gauge adds new VTOL & Hover features to Alphasim's FSX MV22-Osprey. Besides true vertical takeoff&landing, it allows you to fly forward, backward, sideways and turn, while in a hover. This solution is based on overriding the normal FS flightdynamics while in a hover; in short, it's a VTOL&Hover FDE coded in a gauge. Special thanks to: 1. Doug Dawson, who created a gauge that provides for overriding FSX variables from an XML gauge. 2. Nick Needham, for his rotorwash effects. Requires FSUIPC4 (registered or unregistered, NOT included). FSX Carrier Operation Package V3.0

File Description:
This freeware archive contains a set of gauges, effects and sounds which you can add to tailhook-equiped aircraft in FSX, and enables you to perform takeoffs and approaches/landings on aircraft carriers (static AND moving !!). It features: (1): A catapult gauge, enabling a catapult-launch takeoff. (2): An arrester gauge, enabling a cable-arrested landing. (3): A IFLOLS gauge, enabling accurate approaches and landings. (4): A SonicBoom effect (visual and audible) plus controller gauge. Includes extensive installation/usage documentation. Requires prior installation of FSUIPC. Special credit goes to Doug Dawson; without his (included) interface gauges (a.o. for speedcontrol, lauch/arrest zone definitions and soundplaying) this package would not exist. By Rob Barendregt.

File Description: FSX Gauge: VTOL/Hover (V4.0) for Wilco Tiltrotor This freeware package adds new V(S)TOL & Hover features to the Wilco BA609 Tiltrotor. This solution is based on overriding the normal FS flightdynamics when the nacelles are rotated out of the normal flight position; in short, it's a V(S)TOL&Hover FDE coded in a gauge. Ice Gauge for FSX as Pop Up Window

File Description: This is the Pop Up Window version for the "Ice Gauge for FSX and FS9" by Charles Owen, and with updated graphic. This allows the gauge to be used with any aircraft. Typical use would be to place the pop up on a second monitor, or it can be resized to fit out of the way on your main monitor. This gauge is provided as a way of making winter flying in the sim a little more realistic. This Pop Up version is intended for FSX, but may also work with FS9 (untested). The Ice Gauge for FS9 or FSX

File Description:
This small simple gauge will measure the amount of structural ice on your airplane and display a warning, the color of which depends on how heavy and dangerous the ice is. It also adds the effects of very dangerous "freezing rain" (SLD icing) to the other icing effects already present in FS9/FSX simulation. Included is a detailed report on how icing works in FS9 and FSX and how aircraft designers can enable properly working anti-icing equipment in their planes. This gauge works in either FS9 or FSX. Simple manual installation instructions are provided in the readme.
