File Description:
The airfield EDST-Hahnweide is located approximately 17 nautical miles southeast of EDDS- Stuttgart. Former it was just a gliderfield but now ist is available also for small motor-aircrafts.
Each two years there are happens the greatest meeting of oldtimer-aircrafts in Europe.
This scenery is designed very much in detail. All important objects have been created by me and Joachim Herwig using actual original photos of the airfield and its surrounding. A retouched photo background, covering all four seasons, completes the scenery.
EDST Hahnweide does not exist in the standard scenery of the FSX. So this scenery is an addon-scenery, which hopefully will fill one of the plenty “white spots†in the World of FSX.
Because this field is some like a “bumpi†medow, the airfield ground is exactly designed like this. Therefore you will not find a plane runway.
Libraries: Many smaller Objects, like people, cars or static airplanes in this scenery were taken from three popular freeware libraries for whose use I got the friendly permission of the authors. If these libraries are not installed , many objects are not visible !

Decent representation of Slovenian airport named after Jozef Pucnik,
located near the village Spodnji Brnik, some 15 miles north of Slovenia's capital Ljubljana.
The scenery is packed with many features: custom landclass in the walley underlying the approach paths to both runways(12 and 30),
custom airport layout as found after last reconstruction of aprons and taxiways, corrected approaches (so IFR AI traffic in case of a missed approach to runway 30 is no longer turning right crashing into the 8000ft mountains just North of the airport). All airport buildings are placed into their correct
locations and shapes, even if only default generic buildings and library objects were used.
You will also notice airport has 3 runways(AFCAD on steroids),when there is actually
only one in reality and only one is also visible in the simulation.
This was done in order to enable different categories of AI aircraft using different intersections
for departure and the only way possible to recreate this was to use overlayed runways of different lenght.
There are also some surprises hidden in the scenery, but we will leave them for you to discover.

| Boeing B-17G 91st BG (OR-R) 'Nine O Nine' |

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A WoP2 B-17G in the colors of B-17G-30-BO 'Nine o nine". Nine-O-Nine was a Boeing B-17G-30-BO Flying Fortress heavy bomber, of the 323rd Bomb Squadron, 91st Bomb Group, that completed 140 combat missions during World War II, believed to be the Eighth Air Force record for most missions, without loss to the crews that flew it. The original aircraft, a block 30 B-17G manufactured by Boeing, was nicknamed after the last three digits of her serial number: 42-31909. Nine-0-Nine was added to the USAAF inventory on December 15, 1943, and flown overseas on February 5, 1944. After depot modifications, she was delivered to the 91st BG at RAF Bassingbourn, England, on February 24, 1944, as a replacement aircraft, one of the last B-17s received in factory-applied camouflage paint.
A former navigator of the 91st BG, Marion Havelaar, reported in his history of the group that Nine-O-Nine completed either 126 or 132 consecutive missions without aborting for mechanical reasons, also believed to be a record. M/Sgt. Rollin L. Davis, maintenance line chief of the bomber, received the Bronze Star for his role in achieving the record.
Her first bombing raid was on Augsburg, Germany, on February 25, 1944. She made 18 bombing raids on Berlin. In all she flew 1,129 hours and dropped 562,000 pounds of bombs. She had 21 engine changes, four wing panel changes, 15 main gas tank changes, and 18 changes of Tokyo tanks (long-range fuel tanks).
After the hostilities ceased in Europe, Nine-O-Nine was returned to the United States on June 8, 1945, and was consigned to the RFC facility at Kingman, Arizona on December 7, 1945, and eventually scrapped.
B-17G-85-DL, 44-83575, civil registration N93012, owned and flown by The Collings Foundation, Stow, Massachusetts, flew marked as the historic Nine-O-Nine until its crash on the 2nd of October 2019. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom.

This is a repaint for the amazing SkySpirit 747-8i Series II. It includes the base model, high-quality textures, a VC, and custom ground service vehicles.
Canadian Airlines never flew the 747-8i, as by the time the company was absorbed by Air Canada in 1999 the aircraft did not exist. The largest aircraft flown by Canadian Airlines was the Boeing 747-427. However, in our new universe, Canadian Airlines has taken delivery of one single Boeing 747-8i, available to fly any route of your choice. It flies under the registration C-FCDN and the tail number 848.
The Rhys T. Eyton Memorial 747-8i
Canadian Airlines named all of their 747's, and this one is no different. Like the real-life 747-427 flown under registration C-FGHZ, this aircraft honors the late Rhys T. Eyton, Canadian Airlines CEO between 1989 and 1995. Rhys was a pioneer in Canadian Aviation. He passed away in 2023.
Livery Info
Upon its founding in 1987, Canadian Airlines revealed its new livery using the colours light grey, dark grey, navy blue, and red. The paint scheme was an adaptation of the recently introduced livery from its predecessor Canadian Pacific Airlines. The lower half of the aircraft's body was navy blue, topped with light grey and red stripes, while the tail was blue, with approximately one-third taken up by the carrier's new logo. The new Canadian Airlines logo was a combination of Canadian Pacific's five grey stripes, representing the five continents served by the carrier. Over these stripes was a thick, bright red chevron. The chevron was a simplification of the Pacific Western Airlines logo. The chevron was placed over the stripes, which then represented "Wings over 5 continents". It was also an ingenious and subtle way to represent the takeover of CP by PWA. The same logo, in a square form, became a clever alternative to a true bilingual name on the fuselage replacing the French "e", and the third "a" in English (Canadian/Canadien).

| P-47D 324th FG/ 316th FS #86 "Black Sheep" |

This folder contains a repaint for the Shockwave World War II Fighters P-47D Thunderbolt, representing the aircraft flown by Lt Jerry Wurmser of the 316thnd FS/324th FG, in France and Germany, between 6 march 1945 and the end of the war. He is still alive, and told me: "The name "Black Sheep" was already painted on the plane when it was assigned to me. It previously had been assigned to someone in Britain, and eventually ended up in France after either being shot down or having crashed and then repaired. It had a brand new engine in it when I received it on March 6, 1945. At this time I had already completed 39 missions, and finally was assigned my own airplane. My first flight in it was to break in the new engine, or "slow time" it. This required flying it about for a period of time at very low throttle settings, to break in the new engine. The plane had already seen a lot of action, and the "form 1" contained a long list of malfunctions that was written up by the previous flyers and dates of repairs. Several times I had to sign the "exceptional release" form before going up, acknowledging that I knew and understood what the previous pilot stated what was wrong with it. This plane was a razorback, with the tail assembly out of line, so that I had to apply rudder correction constantly. It got such bad gas mileage that I carried one less bomb and a gas tank instead. I hated that plane. I finally did get a new bubble canopy plane, but by this time the War was over!"
Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on two repaint kits, one by John Terrell and one by Shockwave. Included is a 1024 x 1024 bmp repaint, which should work in both FS9 and FSX.

This is a repaint of the Douglas DC-6B in Trinidad and Tobago Air Services - TTAS colors. The freeware CalClassic DC-6B by Greg Pepper and Tom Gibson is needed for this repaint. Trinidad and Tobago is an island nation of the southeastern West Indies, in the Caribbean. It consists of two main islands — Trinidad and Tobago — and several smaller islands. Caribbean United Airlines Ltd. was the main carrier operating a service from Trinidad, the main island, to Tobago, which is off to the North of Trinidad. However, Caribbean United Airlines - established in 1970, failed as an airline and stopped operations in 1974. The government of Trinidad and Tobago consequently formed TTAS at Port of Spain on June 12, 1974 to take over the Port of Spain to Tobago service suspended upon the failure of Caribbean United Airlines. With a pair of Douglas DC-6Bs, TTAS, became the second national carrier, and undertook air bridge flights to Tobago, as well as routes to Grenada, Martinique, and St. Lucia. The DC-6Bs were replaced between 1977 and 1978 by HS-748s. After a short lifespan of 6 years, TTAS was taken over and merged into the main Trinidad and Tobago national carrier - British West Indies Airways, in 1980. Textures are 32bit bmp. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE and should work on FSX & P3D v1-3. It should also work on FS2004.

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-15-RE 42-75845 B4-J "The Madam". It was the assigned aircraft of Lieutenant John H. Fetzer, from Shreveport Louisiana, of the 387th FS/ 365th FG during D-Day. He was flying as wingman of Capt. Arlo Henry on 6 June 1944, D-Day, when they spotted a number of Tiger tanks trying to hide in a castle. Capt Henry blew up the castle with his bombs, while Lt Fetzer attacked a Tiger with his 1000 lb bombs. His first bomb exploded harmlessly in a field, but his second "my contribution to D-Day" exploded right behind the Tiger, flipping it over 3 times. As for 42-75845, she proved to be a very strong lady. It began its career with the initial start of operations of the 365h FG, with Lt. Fetzer as its original pilot. He named the aircraft after his future wife, Helen. It flew its 200th mission in March 1945, and continued right to the end of the war, as the only remaining original Thunderbolt of the 365th. She was shot up several times, had wings and engines replaced and countless holes patched, but its crew chief, Joe DiMaio remarked that as long as 'the Madam' came back, he would keep her flying, and he did. This is the aircraft of the extinct mexican airline "Lineas Aereas Azteca", the Bombardier Learjet 31 with the registration: XA-OLE. LÃneas Aéreas Azteca was an airline based in Mexico City, Mexico. It operated domestic scheduled services and international services to the USA. Its main base was Mexico City International Airport, with a hub at General Abelardo L. RodrÃguez International Airport, Tijuana. The airline was established on 9 May 2000 and started operations on 1 June 2000, operating domestic services with Boeing 737 aircraft. It started up after TAESA closed down and some of the staff and assets were taken over. The airline's operations were suspended by the government in March 2007 due to safety problems, and in October 2007 the Mexican government permanently revoked its air operator's certificate because the company hadn't solved those problems. On 10 October 2007, the General Civil Aeronautics Directorship (DGAC) of Mexico's Communications and Transport Secretariat permanently revoked LÃneas Aéreas Azteca's air operator's certificate, because the airline did not have a sound financial statement after the previous suspension. The fleet consisted in 6 Boeing 737-300 (XA-AAU, XA-AAV, XA-CAS, XA-TWG, XA-UCL, XA-UCP), 3 Boeing 737-700 (XA-AEP, XA-AEQ, XA-TWF), and 1 Bombardier Learjet 31 (XA-OLE). PETER JAMES' EZCAM .CAM FILES AS OF 3-25-10. I have made some great cams to share based on the new
Flight1 EZDOK software. Installation is a snap. Just copy these into your EZDOK root directory and you're
ready to go! As a real commercial pilot with over 7500 hours flying time, I can assure you these cams
give you the most realistic virtual cockpit views possible. I base this on proper seat position, as
well as a zoom level I have been fiddling with since the beginning of FSX.
I have here cams for the A319 by Project Airbus, the Default A321, default Beaver, the 739 by Ariane, the LDS 767-300ER,
and the great free biplane (Tigermoth) by ORBIX ...Whether you own the two payware products or not
does not matter. These cams will work well on any similar aircraft. Just use the EZDOK interface to import these cams,
and then you can edit them for any plane you want. The real thing I did was take the default cams that came with EZDOK and dampen
out the touchdown head wobble...but that's about it. I am still learning all the tweaks available
with vibrational effects, but have gotten good at setting up 9 viewpoints for each virtual cockpit
included... when you run the EZDOK interface you'll see the titles and number key for each position.

File Description:
In the late 1930s with a new war on the horizon, extra airfields were again needed to accommodate an expansion of the RAF. Former First World War stations were surveyed for suitability, and an area just to the west of the original Elsham site was deemed to be better suited. work began in the winter of 1939-1940, and the station opened with the arrival in July 1941 of 103 Squadron. The station was equipped with a main runway 2,000 yards (1,829 m) long, and two subsidiaries of 1,600 yards (1,463 m) and 1,400 yards (1,280 m). Three hangars (two T-2's and one J-Type) and 27 aircraft hardstands (later increased to 36) were built. Three more T-2 hangars were built in 1944. Accommodation for around 2,500 personnel was dispersed in the nearby farmland.
No. 103 is credited with more operational sorties than any other 1 Group squadron, and consequently suffered the group's highest losses. Of the 248 bombers lost on operations flying from Elsham Wolds, 198 were from No. 103 Squadron. By type, losses were 28 Vickers Wellingtons, 12 Halifaxes and 208 Lancasters. One Elsham Wolds Lancaster, Lancaster III ED888 M2 (Mike Squared)[3] which served with both Nos. 103 and 576, held the Bomber Command record for operational sorties, having completed 140 between May 1943 and December 1944.[4] A total of 974 operational hours.
