SPHZ Anta/Comandante German Arias Grazz, Peru Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Googly scenery for SPHZ Anta/Comandante German Arias Grazz, Peru - a small domestic airport for which nothing more than a runway is provided in Flight Simulator 2004. These scenery files add the apron, taxiways, buildings and other airport features so that you and your "AI" traffic can land, taxi, park and take off in a realistic manner. The airport is served daily by domestic operator L C Busre and perhaps also others using small aircraft, but little information has been found on activity in this area. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high-detail satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look like the real thing. You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without. DTTR El Borma, Tunisia Download

File Description:
Googly scenery for El Borma (ICAO: DTTR, IATA: EBM), a small airport with a long runway deep in the Tunisian desert near the Algerian border. El Borma, also known as Al Borma or Al Burmah is one of Tunisia's top onshore oil and natural gas sources and it is this that probably justifies the twice-weekly flights operated by ATR turboprops of Sevenair. Microsoft have only provided runways at this airport in Flight Simulator 2004 and this scenery seeks to redress the situation so that you and your "AI" traffic can use the airport realistically. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high quality satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look exactly like the real thing. You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without.

VAAH Ahmedabad International, India Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Googly scenery for VAAH Ahmedabad International, India - an enhancement to the airport provided in Flight Simulator 2004 which is incorrect in many respects. These scenery files correct and improve the terminal location, apron, taxiways, buildings and other airport features so that you and your "AI" traffic can land, taxi, park and take off in a realistic manner. The airport is served by aircraft as large as Jumbo Jets from a range of domestic and international Indian airline operators, together with flights from other countries' airlines such as Kuwait Airways and Singapore Airlines. HSSS Khartoum, Sudan Download

File Description:
Googly scenery for HSSS Khartoum, Sudan. For Sudan's main international airport, the Flight Simulator depiction is somewhat simplified, depicting just a few buildings which are badly located. These scenery files attempt to reproduce the real atmosphere of the airport - from the huge clutter of small hangars and workshops and large quantities of inactive planes through to the aircraft dump at the north end of the airport. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high-detail satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and third-party object libraries so will not look like the real thing. You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without. These files complement the Sudan Airways AI Fleet Pack by Billy Rutherford & John Hinson, updating the scenery files contained therein, but the two are not inter-dependent.

Sioux Lookout CYXL in northwest Ontario Canada Download

File Description:
Sioux Lookout is a small town of some 5,000 folks in northwest Ontario, towards the Manitoba border, and a regional centre for surrounding villages. The airfield is some two miles east of the town. It originally had two runways but the smaller was abandoned recently as part of a planned long term improvement of the field, leaving just 34/16 with its 5,300 feeet of asphalt. Both Wasaya and Bearskin fly to Sioux Lookout; on the field there are two maintenance companies, Eagle and Allen, and hangers for the Ministry of Health, Bearskin Airlines, Wasaya, and the Nishnawbe Aski Police Service (NAPS). I think there is now another company too, but I have no information on them so I pretended this was two years ago. As well as the airfield scenery there is also a landclass file an "AFCAD" file for your AI aircraft. You should also download and install Northwest Ontario Airports by Eric O'Link, and preferably also have Ultimate Terrain; I have not tested this without UT and there is a small lake nearby.

Milano Malpensa Area (ISD) 2013 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Dear Friends simmer, as always taking advantage of the beautiful objects bgl Gianluca Giovannini, I tried to improve with a symmetric pairing of autogen trees / towns / industrial buildings, the urban area near the international airport of Milano Malpensa, in the best ever scenery by the ISD project.

With the current integration I have created the village of Casenuove, Cardano al Campo, Cascina Costa, Femo, part of the small towns near the attached industrial buildings and new parking in 3D for both terminals. I paid particular attention to the impact of the approach in view of the Ticino Park with a significant density of trees near the runway. Inside you will also find the file on the grass in 3D previously published by me, so if you have already installed, you can deactivate maintaining this.

Warning Very Important: the scenery "is not complete" and to get the best result, you must install ISD LIMC 2009 (limc2009v1.1.zip) - available HERE.

Nome PAOM on the northwestern coast of Alaska Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
There are four main northwestern Alaska towns which have good airports and are serviced by Alaska Airlines. From these airports local flights connect to nearby villages, "nearby" in Alaska meaning up to 200 miles away. The northernmost is Barrow. Southwest of Barrow is Kotzebue, then Nome, and the furthest south is Bethel. The town of Nome is south of the Bering Strait on the southern coast of the Seward Peninsula, around 185 miles south of Kotzebue, with a population of about 3,800. It is the town that led to the creation of the most famous dogsledge race in the world, the Iditarod, which is based on the delivery to Nome of diphtheria serum during the blizzard conditions of the winter of 1925. The Nome airport (it currently has no other name) was originally built as the last of the refuelling airfields for planes being ferried to Russia during WW2. It has two runways, aligned 09-27 and 02-20 in FS9 (the wandering magnetic north has recently renamed the magnetic headings) and both of them around 6,000 feet with an ILS on 27. There is a modern airport layout diagram included showing taxiway names etc. Alaska Airlines, ERA, and Bering Air (which is headquartered in Nome), along with the shared cargo terminal for Northern Air Cargo and Everts Air, are all on the southern apron. The northern apron is mainly for GA, along with maintenance facilities, a garage building that also houses a weather bureau, and at the far northern end of runway 02-20 an apron and hanger for the Alaska Air National Guard. All AI aircraft in FS9 much prefer to use a runway that has an ILS and so will continue to use 09-27 even if the wind is from the north or south, right up until it reaches 30+ knots, so for AI realism in FS9 a permanent wind from the west would be the most realistic on a daily basis. There is also a small gravel strip just north of the town and this is included (94Z), as are some old line-of-sight radio communication reflectors on the hills above the town. There is a note about making adjustments to Ultimate Terrain Alaska-Canada regarding both realistic road lighting and also auto-generation.

PABR - Barrow - Alaska, USA Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
The town of Barrow is in the far north of Alaska, and is best known in flying circles as the place where Wiley Post crashed his floatplane on takeoff and killed himself and Will Rogers. The crash was some 15 miles south of Barrow and was "assisted" by the mismatched fuselage, wings, and floats that had been assembled to create the floatplane. The Barrow population is largely Inupiat and totals some 4,400. The downtown area of Barrow is immediately north of the airport. The second and largest part of Barrow is further north past a string of lagoons and is locally called Browerville. To the northeast along the coast is the smallest part around what used to be the Naval Arctic Research Lab, and is now a college. To the east of this are the DEW buildings, plus two large navy hangars and the gravel runway that was used to serve the DEW station. The PABR runway is aligned 06-24 in FS9 and is 7,100 feet long and 150 feet wide, built on top of a gravel base and surround that copes with the underlying permafrost. There is PAPI at both ends and an ILS and approach lights on 06; 06 circuits are to the right. The airport notes include a warning that the apron is not a standard width and that large planes that are enroute to the far end of the runway will not be able to taxi past a plane parked at the gate and should use the runway as a taxiway, then turn and takeoff. FS9 AI cannot cope with that, so the apron here is wider. There are, in real life and the AI, daily flights by Air Alaska (three at least) and Era (several, and which is now called Ravn, hence the new hangar door motif) and air cargo flights by Northern Air Cargo and Everts, plus GA. The buildings have been made with photographic textures or textures made from reference photos. I decided that while 500+ scenery objects was probably ok for most people the required 900+ to "make" the town of Barrow would likely not be. The auto-generated FS9 town objects could not be left as Barrow with trees would not look at all like reality; I have "faded" the density of the town buildings into the distance from the airport.

VAKE Kandla/Gandhidham, India Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Googly scenery for VAKE Kandla/Gandhidham - a small domestic airport in the state of Gujurat, India, for which little other than a runway is provided in Flight Simulator 2004. These scenery files add taxiways, aprons, buildings and other airport features, so that you and your "AI" traffic can land, taxi, park and take off in a realistic manner. Gandhidham is a small city about 5 miles from the seaport of Kandla, in the Gulf of Kutch, and was developed in 1950 after the separation of Pakistan and India left the key port of Karachi in Pakistan. The airport is served by daily flights using turboprop aircraft of Air Deccan. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high-detail satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look exactly like the real thing. You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without. International Pan American Airport - Dinner Key, Coconut Grove (Miami), Florida Download

File Description:
"From 1933-1945, Dinner Key in Coconut Grove (Miami), Florida was Pan American Airways Latin American Hub for its Flying Boat fleet. Dinner Key was so named because many families used to come out and have picnic dinners and watch the Sikorsky’s, Martin’s, and Boeing’s leave for exotic ports. In 1950, the terminal became Miami’s City Hall with the surrounding area becoming a marina." For Default scenery.. not tested in others. Uses both RWY12(latest version with all add on libraries included) AND Lago FSE (Payware) Two methods of installing.. which ever works best for you. One - simply drop the Dinner Key folder into your add-on scenery section of flightsim and install according to SOP... start it up..add and activate it close program and start again or TWO - remove the three .bgl files from the scenery file ... the afcad, the exclude, and the rwy12 .bgl and place them in your add-on scenery\scenery file ... then start flightsim.. it will automaticly configure it. the .se2 file goes into LAGO\FSE\Data file (you will need lago for this to work. comments or questions [email protected]
