YEVD Evans Head Memorial, Australia Download

File Description:
Googly scenery for YEVD Evans Head Memorial, a former RAAF Training base in New South Wales, Australia, now reduced to a single runway and small apron. In its heyday it was home to the RAAF No 1 Bombing and Gunnery and the RAAF No 1 Air Observers Schools and it was said to be the largest training base in the southern hemisphere - at that time it had four runways. Flight Simulator 2004 has made no provision for traffic with only a runway provided and this scenery seeks to redress the situation so that you and your "AI" traffic can use the airport. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high quality satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look exactly like the real thing. You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without.

OPDB Dalbandin, Pakistan Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Googly scenery for OPDB Dalbandin, Pakistan - a quiet domestic airport for which no operational facilities are provided in Flight Simulator 2004. These scenery files add/correct the runways, apron, taxiways, buildings and other airport features so that you and your "AI" traffic can land, taxi, park and take off in a realistic manner. The airport appears to be served all of once per week by ATRs of Pakistan International Airways so will hardly buzz with activity, but you will be assured of a friendly welcome when you arrive. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high-detail satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look like the real thing. You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without. SPHZ Anta/Comandante German Arias Grazz, Peru Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Googly scenery for SPHZ Anta/Comandante German Arias Grazz, Peru - a small domestic airport for which nothing more than a runway is provided in Flight Simulator 2004. These scenery files add the apron, taxiways, buildings and other airport features so that you and your "AI" traffic can land, taxi, park and take off in a realistic manner. The airport is served daily by domestic operator L C Busre and perhaps also others using small aircraft, but little information has been found on activity in this area. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high-detail satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look like the real thing. DTTR El Borma, Tunisia Download

File Description:
Googly scenery for El Borma (ICAO: DTTR, IATA: EBM), a small airport with a long runway deep in the Tunisian desert near the Algerian border. El Borma, also known as Al Borma or Al Burmah is one of Tunisia's top onshore oil and natural gas sources and it is this that probably justifies the twice-weekly flights operated by ATR turboprops of Sevenair. Microsoft have only provided runways at this airport in Flight Simulator 2004 and this scenery seeks to redress the situation so that you and your "AI" traffic can use the airport realistically.

VAAH Ahmedabad International, India Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Googly scenery for VAAH Ahmedabad International, India - an enhancement to the airport provided in Flight Simulator 2004 which is incorrect in many respects. These scenery files correct and improve the terminal location, apron, taxiways, buildings and other airport features so that you and your "AI" traffic can land, taxi, park and take off in a realistic manner. The airport is served by aircraft as large as Jumbo Jets from a range of domestic and international Indian airline operators, together with flights from other countries' airlines such as Kuwait Airways and Singapore Airlines. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high-detail satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look like the real thing. Groom Lake / Area 51 Scenery - KXTA Download

File Description:
This package will add the missing Area 51 airport (credited as KXTA according to some sources) to Flight Simulator 2004: A Century of Flight. It will add the following items, but YOU CONTROL IF THEY ARE ACTIVE IN FS2004 via the scenery library (directions are included in the manual): * KXTA in the proper location with assocated scenery including airport buildings, antenna arrays on Bald Mountain and Papoose Mountain, even an SUV in the general location of "Freedom Ridge"; the one time favortie observation point for civilians wanting to keep an eye on what our "Uncle" is up to out there in the desert. * New KLAS, KLSV, and KINS to add appropriate parking (Again you don't HAVE to use them, so if you already have a MOD for one of these, you can simply elect not to activate mine) * New skin for the default 737-400 in EG&G Janet colors. * AI F-22 Raptor * AI Flight plans for the F22s and Janet 737s (Janet flights based on real world schedules as found at www.dreamlandresort.com)

VEAT Argatala, India Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Googly scenery for VEAT Argatala, India - one of the airports that Microsoft seem to have, um, "forgotten" in FS2004. In the real world it is regularly served by Boeings and Airbii of Alliance Air, Indian Airlines, Jet Airways and Kingfisher Airlines (and smaller aircraft), using the 6000 foot runway with little room for manoevre. These scenery files add aprons, taxiways, buildings and other airport features to Flight Simulator's bland representation and allow you, and "AI" traffic, to land, taxi, park and take off realistically. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high-detail satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportianally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look like the real thing. You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without. Details of optional additional scenery library downloads are provided within. [File re-uploaded at request of AVSIM]

13 Northern Ontario Airfields in Canada Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
These are 13 airfields in northwest Ontario, Canada. They were previously posted individually, but not on Avsim. There is a screenshot of Google Earth showing their names and locations. There are also updates to two previously posted airports, Red Lake CYRL and Sioux Lookout CYXL, and AI with the supply flights that are vital for these isolated outposts. Pickle Lake is a northern airfield that is connected to the rest of Canada by an all-weather road, and a large number of the supply flights originate from there. In fact these flights are the primary reason for the small towns existence. This will be followed by a posting of a similar number of northern Manitoba airfields. You may wonder about the numbers of fuel tanks at these airfields. These are not for the airfield use, they are for the settlement to be able to generate electricity and also to provide heating in the winter. If you find an error email me please, and note that my email address has been changed to rogwens at Gmail dot com.

Thames Estuary Airport - Version 2 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:

This is the long awaited update to our original Thames Estuary scenery. Version 1 is still available, but this is also 'stand alone' (version 1 not needed)
Thames estuary airport is a possible new feature to the compilation of UK airports. Using the concept images on the net, we have made the airport for FS9. Please note that this is a very large airport and may not be suitable for slower computers.

There have been plans since 1943 to build a new airport for London at various locations around the Thames Estuary. The proposal was revived in 2008 by the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, and has acquired the nickname "Boris Island".

Works with both FS9 and FSX. Seperate FSX version to follow.
