| Moorea Airport, French Polynesia, NTTM |
|
File Description:
This version completely redoes the previous with a more accurate representation of the entire airport. It contains four distinct areas including the main terminal, a fictional sea plane pier and shelter, rudimentary hangars, and some Polynesian huts along with a pier and sail boats in the bay just down from the airport. This Island is the closest to Tahiti, and you can even see the Tahiti airport from it. The other outer Society Islands will be coming soon. It is suggested that you also download the file Fpsimesh.zip, which has been made for FS2004, and provides a very nice alternative to the boring terrain which FS has put in this most beautiful area of the world.

| Lima/Allen County (OH) Regional Airport (KAOH) |
|
File Description:
Built in 1963, it replaced KLIA which was located Northwest of Lima near the village of Elida. It features ILS approach capability, a full-service repair facility, and two runways. 10/28 is 6,000' x 150' asphalt, while 14/32 is a combination asphalt & sod (I couldn't duplicate this with ADE9X, so it's paved as well). I was able to include a rotating beacon in this package (and might offer as an upgrade to previous sceneries). The buildings aren't a true match, but far better than the default mess. Also, rwy 10/28 has been brought up to date; I've lengthened it to 6,000 ft and re-numbered it from the "09/27" found in Fs9.

| Surge Narrows CAG9 in British Columbia, Canada |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Surge Narrows is a float base serving a small village on Read Island, one of the many islands squeezed between Vancouver Island and the mainland at this northern end. At this island passengers are delivered by amphibious Grumman Goose from Port Hardy, the main airport of the northern half of Vancouver Island with daily scheduled flights onward to and from Vancouver International. The AI was included with the post of Port Hardy. Regrettably, the amphibious Goose behaves as if it is on land and moves on the water with it's wheels extended; there is no way around this. This scenery is a modification of a post made some years ago that did nor support AI.

| KILM - Wilmington International Airport - Wilmington, North Carolina (USA) |

File Description:
Wilmington International Airport for FS9
John B. Loney, Ray Lunning and Michael Verlin
This Airport started out to be a simple stand alone rendering of the public terminal at KILM. Michael and I entered into a correspondence about this when it became evident that Ray Lunning had designed KILM as a complete airport in 2007. This ended in a collaboration by the three authors. Ray Lunning graciously agreed to allow the use of his original files. Michael Verlin contributed additional input and testing to complete the integration of the various components.
As usual, I welcome any comments. I will try to answer as many as I can.

| Ryan Airfield KRYN |
|
File Description:
FS2004 Scenery - Ryan Airfield (ICAO: KRYN, FAA LID: RYN), is a general aviation reliever airport located 12 miles west of Tucson International Airport at the intersection of Ajo Way and Valencia Road. The field was created in the 1940s as a training camp for the Army Air Corps. After the war, the state of Arizona approached the Tucson Airport Authority, who also manages Tucson International, about operating the airfield. The Authority and the state entered into a long-term lease agreement and over the years Ryan Airfield has become a busy and popular airfield. Scenery is compatible with both default FS and Ultimate Terrain. AFCAD file by Ray Lunning. Created with Instant Scenery by John B. Loney, Jr.

| Lucky Lake CKQ5 in Saskatchewan, Canada |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
The village of Lucky Lake is 80 miles south of Saskatoon, with a small population of less than 300, most of whom are dependant on agriculture for income, either directly or indirectly. Marijuana is a recently introduced crop after the failure of a government-financed potato growing operation called SPUDCO. The village was previously known as Devil's Lake (don't ask me, I don't know). The airfield is half a mile north of the village, with an asphalt runway just over 3,000 feet long, lit, and aligned 07-25 in FS9; this has now changed to 08-26 with the wandering magnetic north. Circuits on 25 are right handed to avoid over-flying the village. 100LL fuel is available.

| Dillingham Airfield, HI |
|
File Description:
FS2004 Scenery-Dillingham Airfield, Oahu, HI (PHDH) is a general aviation joint-use facility on the north shore of Oahu near the community of Waialua. The airfield has one 5,000' by 75' runway, a State-operated UNICOM (air traffic advisory) facility, several hangars, and a tie down area for recreation aircraft, but no other facilities. Air traffic is limited to daytime operations by small single-engine and light twin-engine aircraft, sailplanes, ultra-lights aircraft, and helicopters. Traditionally, the airfield has been used mainly for recreation, such as glider soaring, hang-gliding, parachuting, and sky jumping. A taxiway extension will be built in 2005. Created with EZ Scenery. PLEASE READ THE README FILE!

| CYZG - Salluit - Hudson Strait, Quebec, Canada, Modified V1 |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This modified version installs new taxiway lights and windsocks, and updates the AI. This is a complete version and does not require you to have installed the original. Salluit is a village of 1,250 or so inhabitants at N 62 W 75 40 on the shore of Sugluk Inlet, which is in northern Quebec off the Hudson Strait. It's name means "Skinny Ones" in Inuit, and refers to a time when there was not enough to eat, which is a rather scary reminder of just how fragile Inuit survival used to be. The airfield runway is 3,510 feet of gravel 100 feet wide aligned 03-21, and is some 740 feet higher than the village on the shoreline.

| Long Beach KLGB Version 4.0 (New Terminal Construction) |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This is a transitional version of Long Beach Daugherty Field. A brand new terminal is currently under construction and due to open in 2013. This version of the scenery shows the terminal as built but not yet operational which reflects current operations as of November 2012. All parking stands have been moved from their original staggered locations to positions surrounding the new terminal complex. Airlines serving the airport have been updated, and other heavy modifications have also taken place. In addition, Signal Hill has been converted from the giant rock scenery object to a correct elevation change file. The hill now has autogen and proper positioning and elevation. A future update with the fully operational terminal will be forthcoming.

| Arviat CYEK in Nunavut, Canada |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Arviat is a small town on the west coast of Hudson Bay in Nunavut, around 90 miles south of Whale Cove, 130 miles south of Rankin Inlet, and 160 miles north of Churchill. The airfield is just south of the town, and the 4,000 feet of gravel runway is aligned 149T/329T; these are true bearings and not magnetic as Arviat is just inside the Northern Domestic Airspace zone. There is 100LL fuel available in drums, with 2 hours prior notice. The visiting AI airline is Calm Air, plus a cargo delivery by Buffalo Air. As a town of 2,200 people is too large to model I have used a landclass with autogeneration. The result includes some trees, which is not realistic, but there was no way out. There is a special note in the instructions regarding Flight Ontario replacement textures and "glowing" gravel aprons.
