File Description:
Ken Rand's small, single-seat, retractable-gear homebuilt, built using Styrofoam and Dynel/epoxy model aircraft techniques. This model was designed using FSDS v3.51, principally for ai use, so there is a relatively low polygon-count main model, with several LOD models and a reduced-detail shadow for optimal fps. Not a short-field aircraft, it's quite streamlined and there are no flaps, so the stall speed is quite high for a small 'plane, 45kts., but as it's such fun to fly I fitted a basic VC with a functional panel using mostly default gauges. This is a "slippery" little aircraft, needing rather more runway to land than you might expect, so line up early and get your speed down if you don't want to have to go around. The flight dynamics were prepared with Gerry Beckwith's AirWrench, but, as is the way with many homebuilt aircraft, the figures I worked from, hence my final result, will probably vary from other published data. The MCR Sportster is available in kit form in respect with the CNSK regulation (specific kit airworthiness certificate) or in the "experimental" category depending on the registration country.

Sukhoi Su-27 aircraft for FS2004 - This File is a COMMERCIAL DEMO!!
The Sukhoi Su-27 is a one-seat Mach-2 class jet fighter originally manufactured by the Soviet Union, and designed by the Sukhoi Design Bureau. The Su-27's basic design is aerodynamically similar to the MiG-29, but it is substantially larger. It is a very large aircraft, and to minimize its weight its structure has a high percentage of titanium (about 30%, more than any of its contemporaries). No composite materials were used. The swept wing blends into the fuselage at the leading edge extensions and is essentially a delta, although the tips are cropped for wingtip missile rails or ECM pods. The Su-27 is not a true delta, however, because it retains conventional tailplanes, with two vertical tailfins outboard of the engines, supplemented by two fold-down ventral fins for additional lateral stability..

| Hawaiian Air ATR 42-300 |

This is a repaint of the great ISDT ATR 42-300 V2 in the Fictional livery of the real world airline Hawaiian Air. Hawaiian Air has been providing services to the islands of Hawai since 1929 in one form or another and is still a well patronized airline. The plane has been tested in FS9 ONLY and works well. Should you wish to try installing this plane (made for FS9) into FSX, you do so at your own risk. The package comes complete with a custom panel by Antonio Bucoli which provides the needed gauges and sounds for this plane. Both the Gauge and Sound files are included together with install instructions. The panel is already apart of the plane. Installation, Distribution Limitations and my contact can be found in the ReadMe File. Be aware that there are 3 ReadMe files and ALL of them should be read. Please note, if you look at the attahed pictures and see the nose doors are white, do not fret - they are actually the blue of the fuselage in the textures.

| Rae Lakes CYRA at Gameti in the Northwest Territories, Canada |

File Description:
Gameti is a village in the Northwest Territories, around 65 miles north of Whati which was recently posted. Until 2005 the village, which has a population of around 280, was known as Rae Lakes and the airfield is now renamed Gameti/Rae Lakes as shown in the 2010 version of the Nav Canada Flight Supplement, my standard reference year. Permanent settlement was established there in 1965. There is no all-weather road access and the village is reliant upon the airfield for supplies, along with an ice road in the winter months. The airfield is a mile or so east of the village, with a lit gravel runway of just over 3,000 feet aligned 14-32 and with PAPI at both ends. The airfield is served by Air Tindi from Yellowknife on an almost daily basis, included in the AI here along with some GA and a Friday delivery by a Buffalo DC3 that uses all of the runway. The runway has lake water at each end, ready for the unwary. A note here about my scenery making. There will not be many more to follow this as I am almost at the end of the photos I either took or found for scenery purposes, plus I expect to move on from FS9 at some point during next year.

File Description:
This is the second of my two KORD AFCADs, the first for FSX and this one for FS9. Both add the newly opened runway 10C-28C and change the old runway10-28 to runway10L-28R. In this one, as in the FSX version. I use completely default objects, so no additional downloads of scenery are required. All Taxiways have been correctly identified using ADE9X and taxiway signs placed to reflect the ground situation as of the 1311 AIRAC Cycle that ends Nov 14, 2013. I added RNAV and CATIII ILS/DME approaches for both Rwy 10C and Rwy 28C you can select in the default GPS. In the default FS9 file for KORD runway 32L, which still exists, is given as an ILS/DME approach using 108.95, the same frequency as the new runway 10C-28C. I could not delete the ILS/DME for 32L (cannot delete stock navaids in FS9). It interfered with the CAT III ILS/DME for 10C-28C, so I simply changed the ILS frequency for 32L to the same frequency as for 14R. Please note further that in the 1311 AIRNAV supplement for KORD there are no approaches listed for 32L, so I deleted all approaches for 32L, but the waypoints for those approches remain in place (since they are stock navaids and, hence, cannot be deleted).

| Air Saguenay floatbase Lac Sebastien CTD3 in Quebec Canada |

This is the first of five sceneries around Lac Saint-Jean in Quebec, Canada, to the west of the St Lawrence River and close to Bagotville air base. Air Saguenay are a mainly float plane company that operates hunting and fishing flights to company-owned outposts in northern Quebec, with a fleet of almost 30 aircraft including 11 de Havilland Otters and 14 Beavers as of the last count. Their HQ float base is on Lac Sebastien, which is 30 miles east of the far larger Lac Saint-Jean. There are screenshots of this scenery and others in the series that follow this post in the Lac Saint-Jean QC folder. This scenery includes in the AI an Air Saguenay turbine Otter on floats, which has been modified to operate as an AI floatplane with a new config file. The ai also includes other GA float planes. There are also planes listed that will be required only for the future posts in this series, and the relevant textures etc will be provided at the date of the posts. Some of the Beaver AI planes will only be available if you already have the aerosoft Beaver installed. There are HTAI planes used as AI in this series, updated by Nick Tselepides, and the float planes for this part of the series are included here, Cessna 185's.

FS2004 Flight Plan for OB-11 Richmond KY (Old) IFR high speed low altitude military training route. This is the fifth in a series of flight plans I have uploaded. These are great routes for B-52, F-111, B-1B, B-2 A6, A4, Vulcan and any fighter or bomber enthusiasts. Of course you can fly the route with any aircraft of your choice. Included in this package is a gauge by Karol Chlebowski for TFR flying at very low altitude. This gauge will greatly enhance your ability to fly these challenging routes and is a great companion of the flight plans. Another option to download Version 2.0 of my FS2004 mini panel which has all this functionality and more.

Douglas A-4 Skyhawk (Israeli Defense Force); for retro AI traffic. This package represents essentially a version-2 of the Skyhawk packages I started last year; with a lot of fixes to my original crude efforts to mod this wonderful Nick Black aircraft. This package contains six base models (A-4E/H/N & TA-4E/F/H) models; with eleven sub-variants of these versions; for a total of 60 loadout variations and 68 repaints representing IDF service from the late 60s to modern day. Combined with an all-new FDE set by the venerable Mike McIntyre, this should be a nice addition to anybody's retro and not-so-retro AI world. Original aircraft by Nick Black, modifications and repaints by Mike Pearson, dynamics by Mike McIntyre.

Airbus Helicopters / Eurocopter EC135 in SAMU 66 F-HENG paint scheme for ICARO Team EC135. Emergency medical services in France are provided by a mix of organizations under public health control. The central organizations that provide these services are known as a SAMU, which stands for Service d’aide médicale urgente (Urgent Medical Aid Service). This texture is uploaded as a 16 bit DXT3 BMP with no mipmaps for clarity, but all my repaints are also available in 32 bit to those who want them. Just send an email to my address in the included readme. Feedback / suggestions always welcome. Feel free to add to / edit / modify / do what you want with my files. This is FREEWARE created for fun for anyone to use how they choose.
