File Description:
Ken Rand's small, single-seat, retractable-gear homebuilt, built using Styrofoam and Dynel/epoxy model aircraft techniques. This model was designed using FSDS v3.51, principally for ai use, so there is a relatively low polygon-count main model, with several LOD models and a reduced-detail shadow for optimal fps. Not a short-field aircraft, it's quite streamlined and there are no flaps, so the stall speed is quite high for a small 'plane, 45kts., but as it's such fun to fly I fitted a basic VC with a functional panel using mostly default gauges. This is a "slippery" little aircraft, needing rather more runway to land than you might expect, so line up early and get your speed down if you don't want to have to go around. The flight dynamics were prepared with Gerry Beckwith's AirWrench, but, as is the way with many homebuilt aircraft, the figures I worked from, hence my final result, will probably vary from other published data. A new dual screen combined Pilot and First Officer panel for use with two panoramic displays. New Fokker 50 Flightdeck panel provides user with either a freeware Delco Inertial Navigation System or a Bendix/King Navigation Management system and allows for switching between Pilots and First Officers position. The panel configuration design is using a new approach to the operation of the aircraft from the Pilot and First Officer seat. Flying as a First Officer is set up such that the the instumentation and panel is presented on your Left panoramic screen. This is done to allow for a proper presentation of the runway while landing or taxiing. The panel size has been adjusted to be more in line with widescreen displays. Numerous additional changes have been introduced to make the panels more user friendly.
This flightdeck panel is based on the standard Fokker 50 payware version published by Precisionaerobus and installation of this Fokker aircraft in your Flightsim program is a prerequisite as Pecisionaerobus original gauges are not provided with this file.

Sukhoi Su-27 aircraft for FS2004 - This File is a COMMERCIAL DEMO!!
The Sukhoi Su-27 is a one-seat Mach-2 class jet fighter originally manufactured by the Soviet Union, and designed by the Sukhoi Design Bureau. The Su-27's basic design is aerodynamically similar to the MiG-29, but it is substantially larger. It is a very large aircraft, and to minimize its weight its structure has a high percentage of titanium (about 30%, more than any of its contemporaries). No composite materials were used. The swept wing blends into the fuselage at the leading edge extensions and is essentially a delta, although the tips are cropped for wingtip missile rails or ECM pods. The Su-27 is not a true delta, however, because it retains conventional tailplanes, with two vertical tailfins outboard of the engines, supplemented by two fold-down ventral fins for additional lateral stability..

| KORD - Chicago O'Hare - Chicago, USA - Runway 10C / 28C |

File Description:
This is the second of my two KORD AFCADs, the first for FSX and this one for FS9. Both add the newly opened runway 10C-28C and change the old runway10-28 to runway10L-28R. In this one, as in the FSX version. I use completely default objects, so no additional downloads of scenery are required. All Taxiways have been correctly identified using ADE9X and taxiway signs placed to reflect the ground situation as of the 1311 AIRAC Cycle that ends Nov 14, 2013. I added RNAV and CATIII ILS/DME approaches for both Rwy 10C and Rwy 28C you can select in the default GPS. In the default FS9 file for KORD runway 32L, which still exists, is given as an ILS/DME approach using 108.95, the same frequency as the new runway 10C-28C. I could not delete the ILS/DME for 32L (cannot delete stock navaids in FS9). It interfered with the CAT III ILS/DME for 10C-28C, so I simply changed the ILS frequency for 32L to the same frequency as for 14R. Please note further that in the 1311 AIRNAV supplement for KORD there are no approaches listed for 32L, so I deleted all approaches for 32L, but the waypoints for those approches remain in place (since they are stock navaids and, hence, cannot be deleted).

| Air Saguenay floatbase Lac Sebastien CTD3 in Quebec Canada |

File Description:
This is the first of five sceneries around Lac Saint-Jean in Quebec, Canada, to the west of the St Lawrence River and close to Bagotville air base. Air Saguenay are a mainly float plane company that operates hunting and fishing flights to company-owned outposts in northern Quebec, with a fleet of almost 30 aircraft including 11 de Havilland Otters and 14 Beavers as of the last count. Their HQ float base is on Lac Sebastien, which is 30 miles east of the far larger Lac Saint-Jean. There are screenshots of this scenery and others in the series that follow this post in the Lac Saint-Jean QC folder. This scenery includes in the AI an Air Saguenay turbine Otter on floats, which has been modified to operate as an AI floatplane with a new config file. The ai also includes other GA float planes. There are also planes listed that will be required only for the future posts in this series, and the relevant textures etc will be provided at the date of the posts. Some of the Beaver AI planes will only be available if you already have the aerosoft Beaver installed. There are HTAI planes used as AI in this series, updated by Nick Tselepides, and the float planes for this part of the series are included here, Cessna 185's.

| Rae Lakes CYRA at Gameti in the Northwest Territories, Canada |

File Description:
Gameti is a village in the Northwest Territories, around 65 miles north of Whati which was recently posted. Until 2005 the village, which has a population of around 280, was known as Rae Lakes and the airfield is now renamed Gameti/Rae Lakes as shown in the 2010 version of the Nav Canada Flight Supplement, my standard reference year. Permanent settlement was established there in 1965. There is no all-weather road access and the village is reliant upon the airfield for supplies, along with an ice road in the winter months. The airfield is a mile or so east of the village, with a lit gravel runway of just over 3,000 feet aligned 14-32 and with PAPI at both ends. The airfield is served by Air Tindi from Yellowknife on an almost daily basis, included in the AI here along with some GA and a Friday delivery by a Buffalo DC3 that uses all of the runway. The runway has lake water at each end, ready for the unwary. A note here about my scenery making. There will not be many more to follow this as I am almost at the end of the photos I either took or found for scenery purposes, plus I expect to move on from FS9 at some point during next year.

| P-51D 531st FS Iwo Jima '313 |

File Description:
P-51D 44-63934 was assigned to 1Lt John F. Galbraith. He joined the 531st FS/21st FG when he was flying p-39's in Hawaii, and converted to the P-38 and P-51. He was credited with killing nine Japanese soldiers on Iwo Jima during the 26 March 1945 banzai raid, before being wouded. He soon returned to the squadron and began flying VLR (very long range) missions. He most vividly recalls strafing Japanese ships that were closing in on a American submarine. He said he flew '313' because everybody else in the 531st FS was too superstitious to go near it. Repaint for the Shockwave WWII Fighters Mustang by Jan Kees Blom, based on paintkit by John Terrell.

FS2004 Flight Plan for OB-11 Richmond KY (Old) IFR high speed low altitude military training route. This is the fifth in a series of flight plans I have uploaded. These are great routes for B-52, F-111, B-1B, B-2 A6, A4, Vulcan and any fighter or bomber enthusiasts. Of course you can fly the route with any aircraft of your choice. Included in this package is a gauge by Karol Chlebowski for TFR flying at very low altitude. This gauge will greatly enhance your ability to fly these challenging routes and is a great companion of the flight plans. Another option to download Version 2.0 of my FS2004 mini panel which has all this functionality and more.
