Fiji Airstrips

File Description:
Afcads and exclude files for 11 airstrips in Fiji that Microsoft omitted from FS9. Made primarily with Ultimate Traffic users in mind, to give full traffic in the Fiji Islands (aircraft assigments permitting!). The Afcads add runways, aprons and parking spots; the exclude files get rid of the autogen trees. Airstrips built using current data from Australian Defense Force En Route Supplements, so runway locations, dimensions, alignments and elevations are fairly accurate. But aprons and parking spots are entirely fictional! And no airport buildings included! Tested only with default scenery plus fijifix.zip by Jim Keir (available at avsim) to correct elevation errors in default mesh at Moala. Includes NFNB Levuka/Bureta, NFCI Cicia, NFKD Kandavu/Namalata, NFNO Koro Is, NFNK Lakeba, NFNH Laucala, NFFO Malololailai, NFMA Mana Is, NFMO Moala, NFNS Savusavu and NFVB Vanuabalavu.

Irish AFCAD's

File Description:
AFCAD2 files for EIIR, EIKN, EISG, EIWT, EIME, EIDL, EIFR. There are no parking codes included with these AFCAD's, although Aer Arann, a regional irish airline flies twin turboprop aircraft into EISG, EIKN, and EIDL. Some larger airlines operate from Knock Airport (EIKN), flying to the UK and operating charter flights to holday destinations during the summer months. EIME, Baldonnell is the main base of the Irish Air Corps. EIFR, Finner Camp is in Bundoran, Co.Donegal and is a base for the Irish Defence Forces and Air Corps. Weston (EIWT) is a small, but growing airfield just outside Dublin. It is the busiest GA airfield in the country, and is currently undergoing the construction of a second runway. Scenery for EISG is required and is available at www.ifsd.ie.

Midway Island (PMDY)

File Description:
Here are two different AFCAD2 files for Midway Island in the Pacific. Runway 06/24 has been extended to 10,000FT and is equipped with full day, night and approach lighting. Parking includes 14 GA ramps, 6 small gates, 1 medium gate, 6 heavy gates and 2 cargo ramps, Helicopter Pads and an enlarged apron. Other extras for this Island are a Tower view, and ATC including ATIS. This makes an ideal pacific stopover or diversion airport. This package has 2 versions - Default AI traffic with Normal gates or Real world AI traffic with airline assigned gates. You can only use one or the other. Bonus files in here include voicepack updates and 2 flights from the Island using default aircraft. This package is meant for the default FS2004 scenery.

Virgin Express Boeing 737-300

File Description:
Virgin Express are a smal low-fare airline operating out of Brussels National airport. They are part of the world-wide company, Virgin, created by Richard Branson. This Plane is a Boeing 737-300 registered OO-LTM. The plane started life with Air Provence as OO-LTM in 1991, it was then leased to Eurobelgium and then Transmed then back to Eurobelgium and then on to EBA Italy, then back to Eurobelgium, it was then re-registered F-GLTM with EBA Air Province and finaly it went to OO-LTM with Virgin Express. From late 1998 to early 1999 it was re-registered F-GMTM with Virgin Express France. Please enjoy this aircraft, IT COME WITH AN INSTAL SHEILD SO ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS A FEW CLICKS!!!

Been Air VA Airbus A320-232

File Description:
iFDG's brilliant A320-200 in Been Air colours. Been Air is a regional subsidiary of Star Alliance member Singapore Airlines, and sister airline to Silkair and LCC Tiger Airways. Been Air is the founding member of the Raffles Alliance, partnership with Falcon Lines, which takes care of the long haul sector. Both companies operate out of Singapore Changi Intl Airport (SIN/WSSS). This aircraft comes with both of Been Air's A320s, registered 9V-BNA ('Been Here') / 9V-BNB ('Been There') and operated mainly to Pekanbaru, Indonesia and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Instructions included in the Zip file. Livery created by CEO and Capt Bertrand Na, mainly painted by the wonderful painter Vincent v/d Hof, and has been edited and updated (with Raffles Alliance logo) by Bertrand Na. Enjoy!

Emerald Lake

File Description:
"Emerald Lake" (YEWA), Queensland, Australia. Emerald Lake is the international headquarters and home base for EastWest Airlines VA and is situated 18 kilometres from Emerald. Emerald Lake is nestled on the foreshores of Lake Maraboon, Queensland's second largest lake. It is 265 km west of Rockhampton and 900km from Brisbane. The lake is a massive 15000 hectares surface area. Emerald Lake consists of two ILS runways 13000’ & 6000’ a space-age international and domestic terminal cluster using 8 Skyways, super sized hangars to accommodate future super jets, a flying club, cargo division, RFDS Base and a fully manned tower, a water runway and amphibian base. There is a resort, a marina, residential area (under construction) on the shores of the lake adjacent to the airport and connected by a road network.

Dunsfold Park Industrial Estate (EGTD)

File Description:
EDTD - Dunsfold Park Industrial Estate (formerly Dunsfold Aerodrome) for FS9 default scenery. Dunsfold is visible as you make you turn onto final approach course for runway 08R at London Gatwick. It is a private airfield, landing by prior permission only and not an airport of entry. As such, this is not intended for the user, or AI, to fly to, merely a visual reference point on the Gatwick approach. There is a space for the parked B747 and some token GA spaces if you'd like to send AI here anyway. Old runways, taxiways, ramps and indication of building positions are shown but positioning is very approximate. Users of photoreal VFR scenery do not need this file. Famous (in the UK) as BBC Top Gear's test track. Visual approach procedure only, no ILS.

Italian Air Force Supermarine Spitfire Mk Vb

File Description:
The Spitfire MK V was one of the best known marks, powered by the Merlin 46 of 1440 hp. It served from the Summer of 1941 on, and was the first Spitfire to serve overseas.The trop was modified to operate in dusty and adverse envionments such as North Africa. These modifications extracted a small performance penalty. The Regia Aeronautica (Royal Italian Air Force) received 53 Spitfires Mk V from R.A.F., during August of 1944, but , due to their poor conditions, only 33 of them were used. These planes, assigned to 20 Gruppo of 51 Stormo were based on Galatina Airport (Lecce, Italy). Two of these Spits flown during the last mission of Regia Aeronautica during WW2 (5 May 1945). Textures only for payware 'Sky Unlimited Spitfire Mk V'. Repaint by Manuele Villa.

Royal Italian Air Force Lockeed P-38J

File Description:
The Lockheed P-38 Lightning was one of the most prominent fighters throughout WWII in both major theaters of operation. P-38s scored some of the first victories in the Pacific Theater. In Europe, they often provided high-altitude long range escorts for bombers. A P-38 was captured by the Italians on 12th June 1943 after a mistaken landing in Capoterra airport (Cagliari, Sardinia). After a while, with 'Regia Aeronautica's insignas (Royal Italian Air Force), it was flown by Colonel Angelo Tondi in a fighter mission over Torvajanica (Rome), where a B-24 was shotted down. The aircraft was finally grounded due to the damages caused by Italian fuel to the tanks.Textures only in 'Regia Aeronautica' livery for payware 'Sky Unlimited Lockheed Aircraft P38 Vol.1'. Repaint by Manuele Villa.
