Descentometer

File Description:
FS2004 Gauge: Descentometer, for precise and controlled descents. This gauge will assist in positioning your aircraft at a specified altitude and distance from the destination airport. Using ICAO and altitude info, vertical speed and slope are continually processed and displayed during a flight. At any point, the VS needed to descend and arrive at a desired altitude and distance from the airport is known. D'meter handles both continuous or stepped descents from high altitudes. When placed in AUTO, the gauge will control the descent by continually updating the autopilot with VS data. When approaching the airport, the gauge can be placed in Runway mode to monitor or control slope flown to runway. With illustrated PDF and Icon Gauge. By Glenn Copeland.

Go Around an autopilot enhancer

File Description:
FS2004 Gauge: GoAround, an autopilot enhancer for fixed wing aircraft. If your go-around procedure resembles a tailless kite in a thunderstorm, then upgrade your autopilot with this tiny, but powerful add-on. This wave-off wonder will provide co-piloting assistance as it reconfigures the aircraft from an approach to a go-around. After applying power and setting the autopilot to circuit altitude and heading, the gauge cleans the aircraft of all extended surfaces as it sequences through timed routines designed to cause a minimum lose in lift. GoAround is useable at very small sizes and can be installed on any panel. By Glenn Copeland.

Satellite Assisted Landing System Version 9

File Description:
FS2004 Gauge: Satellite Assisted Landing System, v9 (SALS). Using satellite data, this gauge provides glidepath/glideslope guidance into all runways inside the FS world. Approach heading and glideslope indicators are displayed during the landing phase in a fashion similar to those used with ILS and requires the same piloting techniques to keep the needles centered. Because SALS has the ability to guide an aircraft to both ends of a runway, every airport including grass strips and seaplane bases can be accessed with a high level of landing precision. In case of missed approaches, backcourse guidance is provided during climbout. Panel or separate window installation. Includes SALS icon gauge and Word doc with illustrated design parameters. Auto Flaps

File Description:
FS2004 Gauge: AutoFlaps. This gauge is a continuation in the line of automatic instruments designed to make life easier in copilot-challenged cockpits by taking over many tasks that would normally be handled by an extra set of hands. When activated, AutoFlaps will raise the flaps after takeoffs and landings. The only input required from the pilot is to turn on the gauge prior to the takeoff or landing. AutoFlaps works at a very small size and should find room on any panel; however, an icon gauge is also included for those who prefer a big gauge in a separate window installation. WhazzUp

File Description:
FS2004 Gauge: WhazzUp. Or, what's down. It may be your trim, your airspeed, fuel, flaps, landing gear, spoilers, throttle, ailerons, elevators, or rudder. Okay, sideways on the rudder. WhazzUp tracks the position of all these elements and shows the results in multiple displays on the gauge. It also warns of overspeed, stall, and low fuel. Diode indicators show neutral trim conditions for the ailerons, elevators, and rudder. The trim on each of these can quickly be set to zero with a single press on the associated diode. Louis Armstrong New Orleans Intl Airport (KMSY) Scenery

File Description:
New scenery for New Orleans Intl Airport (KMSY) This scenery includes New Terminals, main parking garage, airport roads, fire station, overflow parking, an Airport Hotel, and new cargo ships in the Mississippi River. It also includes numbered jet ways that correspond to my AFCAD2_KMSY.bgl file. I also included a LandClass scenery file that adds more trees and grass areas to the ILS 10 approach. The new scenery makes for more realistic landings, especially at night.
