The Gimli Glider is the nickname of an Air Canada aircraft that was involved in a notable aviation incident in July 1983. On 23 July, Air Canada Flight 143, a Boeing 767-233 jet, ran out of fuel at an altitude of 41,000 feet (12,500 m) ASL, about halfway through its flight from Montreal to Edmonton via Ottawa. The crew was able to glide the aircraft safely to an emergency landing at Gimli Industrial Park Airport, a former Royal Canadian Air Force base in Gimli, Manitoba. The plane survived and flew for Air Canada until its retirement in 2008

| Douglas VC-54C-1-DO 'Sacred Cow' |

File Description:
Built a C-54A-5-DO Skymaster at Santa Monica, CA, for the USAAF (c/n 7470) and delivered on 26 January 1944. Converted to VC-54C-1-DO for personal use by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Irreverent journalists promptly named it 'Sacred Cow'. The VC-54C contained an electric elevator to lift the polio-struck Roosevelt and his wheelchair on board. The elevator was raised from the ground into the aircraft's belly for which purpose a hatch in the bottom of the fuselage could be opened. President Roosevelt made only a few flights with the 'Sacred Cow', the most famous journey being to and from the Yalta Conference with Stalin and Churchill in the Soviet Union.
Following the death of Roosevelt, his successor Harry S. Truman continued using the 'Sacred Cow' till July 1947. Nowadays the aircraft is on display at the Air Force Museum at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, be it with a different serial number. These are textures only. You will require Jens B. L-188A Electra c/n 1145 original 1961 delivered to Western AL, 1969 converted to L-188AF freighter and later to Nordic Air and 1973 to Fred Olsen as LN-FOH, leased to Air de Colgne in 1988 for night parcel services in this special livery.

Attention, the large cargo hatches cannot be opened on the Guzman model!
I recommend using Fraser McKay's excellent panel (FML188AP.zip available at Flightsim.com) including the config. and air. files supplied with this panel package. These provide exact aircraft's characteristics and enable certain systems to function correctly, which those provided with the original model may not.

surrounded by trees like Eucalyptus,capable of attaining a height that can range anywhere between 6fts to 300fts! after a short evening
flight from Mumbai you've just landed at small airport at Dhulia(India) and vacated the runway, AND you've just spotted a
hanger, good! that's were you want to be, but hey! it's already occupied. now what?.Well..good news! there is another hanger,
but were? can't even see were taxiway is leading to because of dense trees. Can you find the Hanger? surely you don't
want to leave your cessna under open sky for whole night long or do you?

Integrated Aviation Consortium BAe 146-200 (G-DEFM) BAe 146-200 (G-DEFM) operated by Flightline Ltd. Southend. The IAC was created by a group of oil companies operating in the North Sea. These aircraft (3 or 4 at any given time) are employed on oil industry operations and fly the short route from Aberdeen (EGPD) and Scatsta (EGPM) in Shetland around 12 times a day. You may occasionally see one of them elsewhere as they are frequently utilised on charter flights at weekends. Type: Douglas C-47A-30-DK. Registration: XY-ABF. Year built: 1944. Two Union of Burma C-47's collided on 22 February 1967, but both landed safely at Myitkyina (XY-ABF and XY-ACN). Burma names itself Myanmar today. But, Burma is however still named by the folk and some countries. After the renaming, Union of Burma airways became apportioned in Myanma airways (domestic) and Myanmar airways intl. The airline code of UB is used with domestic flights still today, with the international flights, the airline code was changed effective at the 22 April, 2002 from UB to 8M. File Description:
This is repaint of Korean Air Cargo's Mcdonell Douglas MD-11 (reg no. HL7372) in 1990 color scheme.
Colors of Korean Air's blue color before 2000 was bit darker than that is now.
HL7372 was first delivered to Korean Air in Jan. 25th, 1991 as Passenger Aircraft, and was the second MD-11 for Korean Air. It was converted to Freighter in June. 1995 and was handed over to Korean Air Cargo. It served Korean Air Cargo until 2004 and handed over to Pegasus Aviation II (Reg No. N988PG) and handed over to Varig Log as PR-LGD Serves until now. HL7372 had unloading incident at Sydney Kingsford Intl' at 2002 as freighter. You'll need PMDG MD-11 to use this repaint

With Union Of Burma Airways becomes awake memories at a country, that was among the richest acreage in Asia once economically. The Airline Code of UB is used with domestic flights still today, with the international flights, the airline code was changed effective at the 22 April, 2002 from UB in 8M . Burma today is called Myanmar and the airline is called Myanmar Airways International (MAI). Myanmar considers today one of the poorest countries of the world unfortunately.

File Description:
Based on the experience of the French air force in Argel and the US in Vietnam, the Argentinean Navy bought 65 planes from the French Armee de l'air and equipped the "1st and 2nd Attack Squadron". These planes received the denomination TACO-28 Papa (T-28P). Armed T-28's were used until the 70's, and were employed in Coin operations and patrol flights in the southern border, at the Fire Land in the Beagle Channel zone. At least in one occassion, the Trojans attacked a Chilean navy unit. All the T-28's were replaced with T-34 Mentors and a few of them donated to the Uruguayan Air Command.
