File Description:
I noted that no one has yet put out an AFCAD2 file for default FS9 KFLL airport.
So I made one for everyone...I used Fort Laud.'s Web Site to designate parking for AI
I did the best I could...I've never been to FLL but I think I got pretty close to the
real thing with the default scenery.
Parking for Concourse B and C has been combined for airlines such as COA, NWA, JBU
Parking for Concourse D is for DAL and Midwest Airlines
Parking for Concourse E is for UsAirways, Bahamas Air, and others
Parking for Concourse F is for American, AA Eagle, UAL and UALX
Parking for Concourse H is for International Carriers and Regional Carriers
Cargo parking is included for Fed Ex and UPS only...(I'm not sure if they are
accurate to real world)

This package contains two repaints for Jens B. Kristensen's Douglas DC-4 & C-54 V3.0. Featured is the C-54B (modified to DC-4 standard) G-ANYB in the colours of Air Charter Ltd London and of British United Airways. In January 1955 Freddie Laker's Air Charter aquired the C-54B-DC for transport work in Germany and trooping flights from Stansted to Cyprus. In 1959 the aircraft was moved from trooping flights to service on the route Southend to Calais flying passengers on one-day trips without a passport till 1 July 1960 when Air Charter was merged into British United. From 21 September 1960 till 3 October 1960 G-ANYB was used for a rigorous flying test programme before it was converted to the first Aviation Traders ATL.98 Carvair car-ferry aircraft. These are textures only. You will need the FS2004 Douglas DC-4 & C-54 (DC4_V30.ZIP). Repaints by Maarten Brouwer.

| French Air Force Fouga Magister EAM 09.102 Dijon 1994 |

File Description:
A repaint of the magnificent freeware Fouga Magister by A. Chancel, J-P Langer, J-P Bourgeois, B. Dube and M. Hardouin which can be downloaded from http://restauravia.com. The aircraft is a true "must" for any FS addict and comes complete with a thorough documentation both in French and in English. This is yet another Dijon aircraft; it is depicted this time near the end of its service life, as flown by EAM 09.102 - as the Communication Flight of BA 102 was then named - during 1994. The fuselage roundels no longer have their usual yellow outer rings, service markings are rather derelict, and despite the painter's efforts the aircraft still shows signs of its earlier assignment with GE 315 in Cognac. Two sets of textures are included featuring two different levels of shine, so you can install whichever you prefer according to your own taste. An alternative layout for the rear 2D panel is provided too. See detailed instructions in the ReadMe.txt.

This freeware AI package, produced by Military AI Works, brings to McEntire JNGB (Joint National Guard Base) in FS2004. Located outside the small town of Eastover in South Carolina, McEntire is a lesser known but important air base that hosts both South Carolina Air National Guard and South Carolina Army National Guard aviation units. This package depicts three of the units based currently based there, the 169th Fighter Wing which operates F-16C/D and C-130H aircraft, the 1-151st Attack Reconnaissance Battalion which flies the AH-64D and Detachment 1 B. Company of the 2/238 Aviation Regiment which flies the CH-47D. This package contains flightplans, callsigns and afcads depicting each unit. Included in this package is a excellent freeware scenery for McEntire JNGB by John Stinstrom.

Tupolev Tu-95 Bear (Part 1). I present a comprehensive AI traffic model package for this cold warrior of military history, which still soldiers on as a formidable strategic bomber and reconnaissance aircraft. The mighty Bear, with around 500 built, evolved from the Tu-114 airliner, and is arguably the fastest (and loudest) turboprop aircraft in history. A simple no-frills turboprop design combined with a heavy payload and ridiculous airborne endurance (20+ hours); and the Bear has established itself as the iconic Soviet/Russian symbol of strategic force projection, easily the counterpart to the American B-52 Stratofortress. An original 9-LOD model brings this historic beast to the flightsim world. This package contains the early "M" series Bears, to include Tu-95M, Tu-95MR, Tu-95RTs, Tu-95U, Tu-95V, and TU-116; with a total of 6 models and 33 repaints. | Bell 427 V2.0 - Panel and lights FIX |

I would like to thank to our friend Aldo (co author of VFR on Lario Project) who rang
the bell and noticed some annoying issues:
a) I missed the default FS9 lights! A friend of mine was testing some details in the aircraft.cfg file and I have forgotten to rename the lights. If you have A2A Shockwave lights, leave the lights as they are in the aircraft.cfg. I don't have this wonderful addon, so I have the same problem!
b) When I was testing some different panel layouts, I lost my mind and I did not changed the correct call for the panel. If you're curious, in the aircraft.cfg file, all liveries call a panel named "crystal"; which of course does not exist. This cause that no panel would be loaded... I am sorry.
However, everything can be fixed and this is the solution for both issues.

This is a US Air Force SC-54 in the colors of the Military Air Transport Service. This aircraft was used in search and rescue operations and wears the day glo colors typical of air force transports of the period. MATS was a joint service transportation operation combining resources from the Air Force, Army and US Navy into a single coordinated airlift command serving all military branches.
The updated repaint is highly accurate with the exception of the fact that the real aircraft had large blister windows on both sides of the fuselage. I tried creating these with artwork, but its going to take a MDL change to fix! Maybe Jens will be able to address one day!
This skin requires the Jens B. Kristensen JBK DC-4 file (dc4_v21.zip) AND the C-54 cargo version (dc4cgv21.zip). These files may be found on this and other popular FS web sites. You MUST have the cargo version installed.

Textures for Jens B. Kristensens Bristol Britannia 300 model (BRT_V10.ZIP). These textures depict Britannia 253 c/n 13508, built at Belfast and delivered 16.9.1960 to the RAF as XM496 "Regulus". Withdrawn from military use the aircraft was sold in January 1976 to Monarch Airlines as G-BDUP and three months later to Afrek Ltd.. Based at Athens, Greece it was used as freighter until August 1984, when it was bought by Aerocaribbean, Cuba as CU-T120. Aerocaribbean used the aircraft mainly for the carriage of troops and military equipment between Cuba and Angola and for all kind of freight charters, often livestock flights to destinations in Canada, South and Central America and Europe. In March 1990 the aircraft was withdrawn from use an stored at Havana. Sold to Trans Air Cargo of Zaire in 1993 as 9Q-CJH, later as EL-WXA. Since 1997 this Britannia is preserved now at Kemble, UK by the Britannia Aircraft Preservation Trust.

This tool for Microsoft Flight Simulator provides a better random failures experience when you fly some aircrafts. Aircraft like PMDG 747, 737, etc has very limited random failure probability that when you need to experience the random failure, you need to manually (READ: intentionally) arm the random failure. This always results in the "anticipated" feeling that the failure has been armed and it's almost sure something wrong is going to happen soon to the aircraft. This "anticipated" feeling is not good and kills the true realism of flying.
This tool solves the problem. Now you no longer need to manually (READ: intentionally) arm the random failure by yourself. This tool will arm the failure for you without you even know it. This provides the feeling that anything could still happen to the aircraft (so you still need to watch those instruments, standby with plan B, etc) but without the "anticipated" feeling. Because you'll never know whether it's armed or not.

In 1946 and 1947 the newly established Norwegian airline Braathens South American & Far East Airtransport A.S. purchased for its medium- and long haul operations on charter basis four ex-USAAF Douglas C-54A Skymasters. Three of them had been converted to DC-4 standard by Texas Maintenance Company (Temco) at Fort Worth, Texas, and featured on the starboard side an enlarged emergency exit. The fourth C-54A was purchased from KLM. Around 1950 the Norwegian authorities concluded that Braathens' operations got increasingly a structural character, read: scheduled, operations and as such became a threat for Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS) which was a conglomerate of "state" airlines of Denmark, Norway and Sweden. SAS received all concessions for the international scheduled routes, which meant the end of the use of the Temco converted C-54A's. These are textures only. You will need Jens B. Kristensen's FS2004 Douglas DC-4 & C-54 (DC4_V30.ZIP). Repaint by Maarten Brouwer.
