N.A.F-86A-5 Sabre USAF 49-1236

File Description:
N.A. F-86A-5 Sabre USAF FU-236 ,C/N 91236, 336th, 4th FIG, one of the aircraft flew by Lt Col Bruce Hinton at Korea ,Dec.1950. Transfered to the 334th FIS FU-236 was shot down by the MiG-15 of Dmitri A. Samoylov(523 IAP, 303 IAD) the 24th Oct, 1951.The pilot, Fred Wicks was captured. In the same mission Samoylov had destroyed also the F-86E FU-682 of the 336th FIS(Pilot Bradley Irish was also captured).No MiG were destroyed this day.

MiG-15 version 1.2 Update AirFile for the Flight1 add-on "Sabre Vs MiG".Some bugs with the aerodynamics are now corrected with this Airfile, specially the slow motion in roll,turn and dive maneuvres.This Airfile is for MiG-15 first series with engine RD-45(and not a MiG-15bis). Now you can flight the plane at 45.000 ft, stall speed was revised, drag,engine intake,airbrake parameters,climb rate,ailerons motion,turn radio,etc.You can now fight the F-86E of Fligh1 in equal or similar conditions. DP weapons file also revised and actualized for the NS-23 and N-37 cannons.

MiG-15 KPAFAC No.03 for Flight1 'Sabre Vs MiG'

File Description:
Textures for the Flight1 "Sabre vs MiG" add-on. Represent one of the MiG-15 of the Russian 72th GIAP(Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment) with the 151th GIAP(Fighter Aviation Division)deployed in Antung, Manchurie between November 1950 and February 1951 in the Korean War.The first victory of 72th GIAP was obtained the 1th November(one F-80C by the pilot Khominich)and this unit was also the first to start combat operation with MiG-15 in the Korean War. Included last AirFile version 1.2 and DP file.

Curtiss SBC-3 Helldiver Base Files

File Description:
Base files for Flight Deck Design's Curtiss SBC-3 Helldiver. Includes visual model with VC, 2D panel, flight dynamics files, CFS-2 damage profiles and custom sound set. No Textures! Textures for a selection of pre-WW2 Helldivers are available separately to keep archive size managable. This aircraft was developed for CFS-2, and it works perfectly in FS2002. Included is a conversion kit to make the plane flyable in FS2004/FS9. Re-released with permission from Flight Deck Design.

Curtiss SBC-3 Helldiver VS-3 (Lexington)

File Description:
Textures only for Flight Deck Design's Curtiss SBC-3 Heldiver. Included are four repaints for four of the section leaders of U.S. Navy Scouting Squadron Three (VS-3), assigned to the Saratoga Air Group but temporarily operating aboard the USS Lexington for a single cruise in 1939, for which the squadron adopted the Lexington's yellow tail. MiG-15 KPAFAC(North Korea Air Force)No.823 for CFS2 KPAFAC(North Korea Air Force)MiG-15 No.823 operated by the 176th GvIAP at Antung Air base,April 1951. This aircraft was damaged in the mission of the 12-04-51.This day, 36 MiG-15 from the 196th IAP(Colonel Yevgeni Pepelyayev)and 176th GvIAP(Lt.Col Sergei Vishnyakov)intercepted a force of 48 B-29(19th,98th and 307th bombing wings) escorted by 36 F-84s and 18 F-86s tasked to attack the Yalu bridges. USAF claim for this mission four MiG shot down by the F-86 and six for the B-29.Actually ,only one MiG-15 was lost(176th GvIAP)shot down by James Jabara(334 FIS, 4 FIW)and the combat damage for the MiG-15 No.823. Three B-29's were destroyed:69682(19th BW, 93rd BS),62252 (307th BW, 371st BS) damaged near Sinuiju railroad bridge, crashed near Suwon,65369 (19th BW, 93re BS) crashed and burned on landing at Kadena AB; five others B-29s of the 19th BW were write off and one of the 307th BW after landing.Victories go to :A.
