Messerschmitt Me309V4 - 1944

File Description:
CFS2/FS2002 ME309V4 version 1.0. This is a repaint of Gerald Lindell's excellent original design Me309V. Features full animation including retractable radiator. Fsds2 model by Gerald Lindell, textures by Phanis Sima and flight model, dp and vc gauges byh Andre van Duin. This plane featured many new ideas such as pressurized cockpit, tricycle landing gear and retractable radiator. There were only four made (V1 and V2) and never made it into production. The BF109G could out turn it and it was judged inferior to the FW190D. If first flew on June 1942. Included also is a panel based on the microsoft 109G panel,Gerald's original Me309 panel, and my own modifications. Installation: Simply unzip to your CFS2 root directory! T.Sima [email protected].

MiG-15bis Albania Air Force No.119

File Description:
MiG-15bis Albania Air Force No.119.The first delivery batch of 24 MiG-15bis was delivered by the USSR the 31th January 1955; the planes were relative older and according to ground crews, some had clear evidence of battle damage indicating service in the Korean War.The first flight of the plane in Albania took place on April 7th, a public display flight over the capital on 1th May. In the early 90's the planes were still in service together with the F-2's(Chinese Modified MiG-15bis)with the 2th Squadron at the Valona Air Academy.

Albania Air Force F-2(MiG-15bis) 5-32

File Description:
Albania Air Force MiG-15bis(Shenyang F-2)5-32. The F-2 was a variant modified by the Shenyang facilities in China of the model MiG-15bis. The planes were powered with a Chinese version of the VK-1A, the WP-5A and the addition of an access panel on the port side of the nose. This version was exported also to Bangladesh, North Korea, Pakistan, Sudan, Tanzania and North Vietnam. The first delivery batch of 24 MiG-15bis for Albania was delivered from the USSR on the 31th of January, 1955. The planes were relatively older and according to ground crews, some had clear evidence of battle damage indicating service in the Korean War. In the early '60s the F-2's were added to the inventary of the Albanian Air Force. N.A.F-86A-5 Sabre USAF 49-1236

File Description:
N.A. F-86A-5 Sabre USAF FU-236 ,C/N 91236, 336th, 4th FIG, one of the aircraft flew by Lt Col Bruce Hinton at Korea ,Dec.1950. Transfered to the 334th FIS FU-236 was shot down by the MiG-15 of Dmitri A. Samoylov(523 IAP, 303 IAD) the 24th Oct, 1951.The pilot, Fred Wicks was captured. In the same mission Samoylov had destroyed also the F-86E FU-682 of the 336th FIS(Pilot Bradley Irish was also captured).No MiG were destroyed this day.

MiG-15 KPAFAC No.03 for Flight1 'Sabre Vs MiG'

File Description:
Textures for the Flight1 "Sabre vs MiG" add-on. Represent one of the MiG-15 of the Russian 72th GIAP(Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment) with the 151th GIAP(Fighter Aviation Division)deployed in Antung, Manchurie between November 1950 and February 1951 in the Korean War.The first victory of 72th GIAP was obtained the 1th November(one F-80C by the pilot Khominich)and this unit was also the first to start combat operation with MiG-15 in the Korean War. Included last AirFile version 1.2 and DP file.
