FSX's sound cone technology has been extensively used to provide as much of a realistic sound experience as possible in the exterior view. SkyHigh Audio Simulations' usual touches have been added such as using audio recordings only from A320 and A340 CFM56-5 powered aircraft as source files to provide a fully authentic sound experience for the simmer. File Description:
This gauge has been developed for FSX Flight Simulator SP1 or SP2. It
has also been tested with Microsoft Acceleration but compatibility is not guaranteed by the
author. The functionality of this gauge is based on the Rockwell Collins HGS which is
designed for the Bombardier CRJ 700. However, this gauge is not following the Rockwell
Collins design completely. It is created to be used as a generic HUD for all commercial
aircraft. It can be programmed to work on any FSX aircraft as a stand alone pop up
window. The gauge is available in the frame color of gray and beige.
For installation and configuration look at the documentation inside the zip file.

documentation, pre beta and beta testing and improvement recommendations
for the gauge and control panel.
Credit also goes to Doug Dawson for his config.gau generating dsd-XML
interface.

SkyHigh Audio Simulations is proud to present what is quite possibly the most realistic sounding Pratt & Whitney JT3D-7 Turbofan sound pack available! This sound pack is designed to work with Historic Jetliners Group's Douglas DC-8-63 model. There are two versions of this sound pack, one interior point of view from the cockpit, and the other being the passenger cabin POV in front of the engines. This sound pack includes many unique and realistic features, including realistic 3D sound cones giving a very realistic exterior sound experience, especially in the fly-by view mode. Also using the cone technology, realistic distant taxi howling and distant rumbling sounds are included. The plane could be heard loud and clear from up to 2km away in tower view! Realistic start up sounds featuring external air cart compressor howling noises are included. Realistic interior ambience noises such as the inverter noise and touchdown, flaps, gear sound with chime, and more are featured in this sound pack.
