File Description:
FSX Scenery - Dawson City Airport (IATA: YDA, ICAO: CYDA) is located 8 nautical miles (15 km; 9.2 mi) east of Dawson City, Yukon, Canada, in the Klondike River valley, and is operated by the Yukon government. It has a terminal building and like most airports in its class, the runway is not paved. The gravel runway is 5,006 ft (1,526 m) long and at an elevation of 1,215 ft (370 m). A number of studies have recommended moving the airport or realigning the runway as it is in a narrow mountain valley. The airport is classified as an airport of entry by Nav Canada and is staffed by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). CBSA officers at this airport can normally handle aircraft with up to 15 passengers, but are equipped to handle daily Boeing 737 charters between Dawson City and Fairbanks (Fairbanks International Airport) during the peak summer tourism season. This TCAS and Traffic Display Gauge Version 1.0 has been developed for the FSX Flight Simulator SP1/2. It should also work with Acceleration. The functionality for the TCAS part is based on general specs for commercial aircrafts. It does not provide in detail the function for a specific aircraft model. It is a generic gauge, and can be simply added to any aircraft as a standalone pop-up window.
In addition the gauge provides a AI traffic display in the ranges of 10,20, and 40 miles.
Within this display mode, no TCAS rules are valid, which means all AI aircraft are displayed independent of any altitude or distance.

This tool is an aid that allows you quickly and easily (+ safely) analyze/enable/disable/edit and create the four major XML files used by FSX: DLL.XML (Loads DLL files), EXE.XML (Loads EXE files), SimConnect.XML (Enables/Disables SimConnect clients) and Standard.XML (Default KeyMapping File). This is basically an in-house tool used by TweakFS to quickly make changes to the XML files during testing and has been reworked and released as a freeware tool for the benefit of all flight simmers.
