In October 1968 the Dutch charter operator Transavia Holland became involved in the relief airlift from Sao Tome to Biafra. Initially only the DC-6 PH-TRA and the DC-6B's PH-TRD and PH-TRL were despatched, followed in November 1968 by DC-6 PH-TRB. Eventually the entire DC-6 fleet served on this operation while for its regular charter operations Transavia started using the Sud-Aviation SE-210 Caravelle jets. In 1969 all DC-6's were sold to Flughjalp and received Icelandic registrations (DC-6 PH-TRA became TF-AAD, DC-6 PH-TRB became TF-AAE). With the exception of TF-AAD and TF-AAE, both featured here, which were both written from use resp. in November 1969 and June 1969 after having sustained damage at the airstrip near Uli, the Sixes kept soldiering on till the Biafran Airlift came to an end in January 1970. Akun Island is close to Akutan, only 7 miles away from the village and the Trident fish processing plant that is just west of the village. Unfortunately those 7 miles are over the sea, as the airport has been built on a different island where there are fewer hills. The link is by hovercraft, which is included as AI in this post along with a "seaport" that boasts only an apron down by the beach. PAUT has a single runway aligned 09-27 which is 4,500 feet long and has a surrounding gravel base. There are daily flights from Dutch Harbor by Grant Aviation, more than one if more are required. The Ai contains these flights, plus a late afternoon Coastguard helicopter flight is added to the revised St Paul Island AI included here. Adjacent to the airport there is a camp for housing labour who were employed on the airport construction, and this is now available for wildlife survey teams or whoever else needs to find accommodation while working on Akun Island.

Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is the Netherlands' main international airport, located 20 minutes (9.1 km; 5.6 mi) southwest of Amsterdam, in the municipality of Haarlemmermeer.
The airport is the primary hub for KLM as well as for Arkefly, Corendon Dutch Airlines, Martinair and Transavia. The airport also serves as a European hub for Delta Air Lines and as a base for Vueling. Schiphol is considered to be an Airport City.
Using ADEx 1.50, aeronautical maps and Google Earth the default AFCAD has been completely reworked to reflect today's situation including gate assignments.
Schiphol has a complex runway lay-out and usage and FSX may assign a runway that in real life is not used as such. I have implemented Jim Vile's crosswind runway technique to open all runways. Now the pilot can decide which runway to use but AI aircraft may show unrealistic behaviour. Only tailored AFCADs taking into account different wind directions will solve this but that is beyond the scope of this project.

We have produced this scenery to provide taxiways and details
as they were around 1962 in Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Juanda and Denpasar.
We have also included new parking to allow the AI aircraft to taxi
correctly at the new (old!) airports.
Kemayoran airport was Jakarta’s and Indonesia’s first international airport.
It was gradually forgotten after the Indonesian government opened
two new airports, Halim Perdanakusuma and Soekarno-Hatta.
In late 1920’s early 1930’s the Dutch turned the area into an airport
and built several military camps to house their soldiers at what is
now Garuda Street.
Kemayoran airport was officially opened for international flights
on 8 July 1940.
The airport was managed by KNILM
(Koninklijke Nederlands Indische Luchtvaart Maatschappy),
a subsidiary of KLM, the official airline of the Netherlands.
Kemayoran Airport was officially closed on 31 March 1985
because the location was deemed no longer appropriate,
and the government wanted to convert it into a commercial area.

Re-upload. FSX/FS2004 DDA Douglas DC-4-1009 ZS-NUR/PH-DDS. This aircraft originally flew with South African Airways from 1946 till 1966, and a short interlude from 1968 till 1970, as ZS-AUA 'Tafelberg'. From 1966 till 1995 the DC-4 flew as a transport and later an electronics warfare aircraft with the South African Air Force, called 'Spook'. Its registration was 6901. In 1995 the aircraft was sold to Aero Air (Pty) Ltd as ZS-NUR. In 1995 the Dutch Dakota Association (DDA) purchased the ZS-NUR, christened 'Skymaster'. The DC-4 arrived at Amsterdam-Schiphol on 5 May 1996. In 1997 she was re-registered PH-DDS. Due to the extremely tight regulations in the Netherlands, the DC-4 returned to South Africa in 2002 as ZS-AUA on long-term lease, first to Springbok Flying Safaris, later on to Rovos Air where she is still current (2008). The scenery was made using the Airport Design Editor, ModelConverterX, FSEarthTiles, SketchUp 2017 an others.
Queen Beatrix International Airport (Dutch: Internationale luchthaven Koningin Beatrix; Papiamento: Aeropuerto Internacional Reina Beatrix), colloquially known as Aruba Airport (IATA: AUA, ICAO: TNCA), is an international airport located in Oranjestad, Aruba. It has flight services to the United States, several countries in the Caribbean, the northern coastal countries of South America, Canada, as well as some parts of Europe, notably the Netherlands.
It is named after Beatrix of the Netherlands, who was Queen of the Netherlands from 1980 to 2013.
The airport offers United States border preclearance facilities. A terminal for private aircraft opened in 2007. The airport used to serve as the hub for bankrupt airline Air Aruba, which was for many years an international airline. Before Aruba's separation from the Netherlands Antilles in 1986 it was also one of three hubs for ALM Antillean Airlines as well as a home base for Tiara Air until 2016.
This scenario was only tested on P3Dv4.5.

FS2004 Scenery for Sunnyvale Air Station circa 1933. Known for 75 years as Moffett Field Naval Air Station, this unique site started life as Sunyvale Field (then Air Station) and was planned as the west coast base of the new Dirigible U.S.S. Macon.
The Macon was a new direction for airships in that it carried a squadron of fighter/scout aircraft and would provide for the U.S. Navy a 'carrier in the sky'. To provide for this new queen of the skies a new base was created with a unique hangar, for many years the largest free-standing wood construction in world.
This scenery attempts to capture Sunnyvale as it was first opened in 1933. I have taken a few liberties like adding in full grown trees that were part of the original master plan but I believe you will find this base captures the spirit of the original. Scenery contains custom FSDS and Gmax models as well as period AI from J.R. Lucariny (F9C SParrowhawk) and a custom repaint of the default Ford Trimotor by Ed Moore and Gary Smith.

Here's another Dash-8 especially for the Icelandic simmers out there or those who prefer the challenge of simming the skies and airports of the northernmost latitudes. This is one of two (2) Dash 8-106's flown by Air Iceland (Icelandic: Flugfelag Islands) and bears registration TF-JMB. Flugfelag Islands, a subsidiary of Icelandair Group, is a regional airline with bases at Reykjavik Airport and Akureyri Airport. It operates scheduled service to destinations in Iceland and Greenland, as well as the Faroe Islands. I want to give due credit to and thank Elmar Voigt, who inspired this project and repaint and worked with me to get every detail of it as realistic as possible. Some of those details include the text 'flugfelag.is' on the bottom of the fuselage (just like the real aircraft) and a tug painted in Air Iceland/Flugfelag Islands colors with their logo on the doors. All repainted textures in this package are 32-bit with no mips for maximum quality. This is a textures only package; you must have the Dreamwings Design Dash8 Q-100 model available here at AVSIM.

The Beechcraft Baron 58 Alaska State Troopers Repaint has several blue and red stripes going down the tail, coming to an end on the bottom of the plane. On the bottom the lines don't meet up perfectly, but its the best I can do. Just under the pilot window, there is writing saying, "ALASKA STATE TROOPERS" in very readable letters. No requirements except FSX, and the default aircraft, Beachcraft Baron 58.
Please do not fly the aircraft outside of Alaska, as it was made for Alaska only. The inspiration came from the National Geographic show, 'Alaska State Troopers' and the fact that I was bored on a Friday afternoon. Thanks, I hope you enjoy it.
