Fort St James is a small town of around 1,600 folks at the southeastern end of Stuart Lake, at the head of the Stuart River, and around 360 miles north of Vancouver and 220 miles inland from the coast. It was a long-established trading post for furs, with a permanent presence there from 1806 onwards. The airfield is 3 miles south of the town and is called "Fort St James (Perison)" in the Nav Canada listings. I presume that this is part of their trend towards calling airfields by their location rather than by their name. Makes sense as it is difficult to find information by searching for an airfield that is listed under a name you don't know. The field has an asphalt runway of 4,000 feet aligned 10-28 and at 2,364 feet ASL. There is no lighting. The main user of the airfield is Interior Helicopters Ltd. who are based there as operators, and at Williams Lake as helicopter dealers. For the AI helicopters, there is a screenshot (01) of the AS350 helicopter installation folder when it has been transformed into an AI helicopter. The process is to download and install the Ecuriel AS 350, along with the additional textures, as normal; this is straightforward. Then you download the software shown in screenshot 02 and add it as instructed and as shown in 01 so that the helicopter now operates as AI, with a different air file and a modified config file. I should have included this with the Pemberton post. I have posted this as Fort St James CYJM, but I suggest that you just add it to your previously created "BC airfields" and avoid the inevitable doubling up of common textures etc. Up to you. Real world repaint for the VirtualCol de Havilland Canada Dash8 model of ZK-NEZ, a DHC-8-102 operated in New Zealand from 1987 initially on behalf of Newmans Air in a partnership with Ansett of Australia. The aircraft had "Newmans Air" titles when delivered and was part of an eventual 7 aircraft Dash 8 fleet. The aircraft operated up and down the country between Auckland in the north and as far south as Te Anau with stops variously at Rotorua, Christchurch, Mt Cook, Queenstown and Milford Sound along the way.

Note the correct aircraft should be a cc138 (DHC6 short nose), but I can`t find a proper AI model. Any help with that will be greatly appreciated.

| Iles de la Madeleine CYGR in Quebec Canada |

File Description:
The Iles de la Madeleine are a group of spit islands linked by bridges in the Gulf of St Lawrence. They are east of New Brunswick, north of Cape Breton Island, west of the Island of Newfoundland, and south of the mainland coast of Quebec. On a southwest to northeast axis they are 40 miles in length and the airport CYGR is pretty much at the midpoint of the southern line of islands. Take a look at the overhead from FS9 to see what I mean. CYGR has two runways, one is aligned 08-26 and is just under 4,400 feet long and 150 feet wide with lighting and PAPI at both ends. The second is aligned 16-34 and is 3,600 feet long and 150 feet wide, without lights or PAPI. Both are asphalt. The apron is not huge, and a newish (in 2010) hangar was built with separate access to the 16-34 runway. There are daily flights by Air Canada and Pascan Aviation included in the AI. The AI also includes some boats and a ferry, and I first used these with my Dutch Harbor scenery, so if you have that already.... This scenery also includes Cindy Hook, a small boat harbour just 2 miles southwest of the airport, and the larger harbour at Cap aux Meules a further 3 miles away that accommodates the daily ferry trips, along with fishing boats etc. Also included here is a further addition to the Homer PAHO scenery in the shape of a boat that is included in the Homer Spit harbour. Just add the contents of the scenery folder to the Homer scenery folder of your Homer installation, and the texture folder contents to the Homer texture folder.
