File Description:
Created from 3 arc second data and re-sampled @LOD9 (best fit for this data). The created area extends from N35E025 (lower left corner) to N44E047 (upper right corner). You need all the five bgl-files plus the two correction files to cover the whole area. Otherwise you will have only a coverage of the corresponding file. Matthew Style's SRTM_3ARCSEC_TO_BGL program was used to interpolate the srtm data and automate the bgl file creation (Many Thanks to Matthew for his great utility).

Welcome to Glacier Fishing Camp. Glacier camp is located 40 miles northeast of Anchorage Alaska. The camp features 1 grass runway and there is a beach available to beach your favorite floatplane. This is Alaska, so if you are not home by dark you better know the place really well. It also has seasonal textures and no flatten switch is required. This airport is for FS2002 as is available only at Avsim. Freeware.

The Microsoft default Ford Tri-Motor painted in "Northern Air Transport Inc." livery. It is based on a Black & White photographs. Registration is NC8419. Alaska Territory circa 1930's. This aircraft had passed thru the hands of Star Air Lines, Inc., Wein Alaska and then Northern Air....
It is hard to accurately paint this plane. Many of the textures are mirrored. The best has been done within that limitation. Repaint by Garry J. Smith.

Some taxiways were created or corrected and the larger airports recieved a new helipad with a start point and perimeter fencing. Designed to enhance adventures in Alaska. This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of NC91008, a DC-3 that flew with Alaska Airlines between 1948 and its crash in Alaska in 1954. The Museum of Flight in Seattle has DC-3 N138D on display, but painted as NC91008. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.

File Description:
This is a simple upgrade to Nome's airport. Default buildings have been removed and replaced with various hangars to replicate the real airport. The Alaska Airlines
terminal is actually a peaked roof hangar. According to photos, Alaska flights use the port side rear door for boarding, so there are airstairs positioned near the rear of the parking spot. The included AFCAD is only slightly modified from default. This is a very simple airport.

File Description:
This is a repaint of the Project Opensky Boeing 737 model in the Alaska Airlines/Dreamliner Livery. This airplane marked the end of an era for Alaska Airlines Mad Dogs, making their fleet exclusively Boeing. Includes custom camera views (not tested in FS2004). Instructions are included for installation for FSX and FS2004. No extra files are needed as this is a complete package. Higher resolution images can be seen using Avsim's zipdive feature.
