Castle Bamburgh United Kingdom N 55 36.32 W 1 42.35 Bamburgh’s written history begins in the times of the Anglo-Saxons with one chronicler citing Bamburgh as probably the most important place in all of England. But even before this there were people living here, there is archaeological evidence that as early as 10,000 BC there were people here. There are Bronze Age (2,400 -700BC) burials nearby and pottery sherds dating to the Iron Age (700 BC – 43AD). With little evidence of their occupation only the name Din Guayrdi gives us a hint that Romans were sometime between 43AD and 410AD. Important VFR point for approaching at various airports. This scenario rappresents Canne an ancient city of Puglia, which stood at 54 m s.l.m. above a hill located on the right bank of the Ofanto, 9 km from the sea. Famous for the famous Battle of Canne, today in the locality called Canne della Battaglia. Like many Apulian cities, Canne was born between the VI-IV century BC Here on August 2, 216 BC, perhaps in the locality still known today as the field of blood, the famous "Battle of Canne" took place, where the Romans suffered a serious defeat by the Carthaginians led by Hannibal. Later, a battle between the Byzantines and the Longobardi was also fought here. Today famous archaeological site and important point of report VFR.

Beaver DHC-2 Avionics Upgrade for the 2D and VC Panels

File Description:
Having spent significant amounts of time flying in the less-hospitable territories in the FS world such as Alaska and the Canadian Northern Territories, I've grown fond of the more rugged and capable aircraft which operate in these areas. The DHC-2 is the workhorse of the North. Granted, modern times have introduced aircraft with turbo-powered airframes and all sorts of electronic gadgetry to enhance airborne capabilities, but I cannot think of a single plane flying in these areas today which could fly safely with zero batteries and fuel. The DHC-2 is a rock, and it was for this reason that I found it both fit and suitable to upgrade the already-included Bendix/King suite with a 2-axis autopilot, a fuel burn status gauge (worth its weight in gold in Alaska and Canada), and a red-light nighttime digital OAT gauge. REQUIRES THE AEROSOFT BEAVER DHC-2 FOR FS2004/FS9.
