Lockheed Jetstar Prototype Download

File Description:
FSX Aircraft - The Lockheed Jetstar was the first business jet. A four-engined aircraft, with several engine models installed, the aircraft was in production from 1957 to 1979. It entered service in early 1961. The first two Jetstars were twin engined airplanes, powered by Bristol Siddeley Orpheus turbojet engines. The second was refitted with the four Pratt & Whitney JT12 engines that were installed on all the first Jetstars. Garrett TFE731 turbofans were installed on later airplanes. A total of 204 Jetstars were built by Lockheed in several models. Military versions flew four U.S. Presidents, carrying the Air Force One designation while they were aboard (some jokingly called it Air Force One Half.) This model represents the first two Jetstars. Paris Orly 1966 Scenery (LFPO) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
We proudly present this scenery of the airport of Paris-Orly (LFPO) as it was around 1966. We have produced this scenery to provide taxiways and details as they were around this period. We have also included new parking to allow the AI aircraft to taxi correctly at the new (old!) airport. Although we did not always have enough photos and information we tried to come as close as possible. Our goal was to reflect something of the atmosphere and feel of that period, prior to the all-jet era of today. You also will find a moving crash tender at the airport. The major difference between the 1961 and 1966 scenery is the new control tower. Updated zip file with correctly named Setup file.

Lockheed Martin F-35A RAF 111 Sqn Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Lockheed Martin F-35A for FSX by Dino Cattaneo in (yet fictional) RAF livery. The RAF 111 Sqn has a rich history starting from Palestine, 1917. In 1961, the unit (already well within the jet-ages) converted to Lightnings, successive marks staying until 1974 when Phantoms arrived. Following a move from Coningsby to Leuchars, the Squadron re-equipped with ex-Royal Navy Phantoms and these survived until the early 1990s when Tornado F3s became the Squadron mount. This repaint is a view of the RAF's future, with the F-35A proudly carrying on the traditions and colours of the RAF 111 Sqn, based at RAF leuchars. You need the latest version (V110) of the excellent payware Lockheed Martin F-35A by Dino Cattaneo in order to use this repaint. Enjoy!

FSX/P3D Lloyd International Airways Bristol Britannia Circa 1965 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This is a repaint of the Bristol 175 Britannia 312F in Lloyd International colors. You need the freeware Bristol Britannia by Jens B Kristensen. Lloyd International Airways Ltd was a private, British independent airline formed in 1961 to operate worldwide charter flights. It commenced operations with a single Douglas DC-4. In the mid-1960s, the airline began re-equipping its fleet with Bristol Britannias. Boeing 707s were introduced into the Lloyd International fleet in the early 1970s for passenger and freight charters to North America and the Far East. Lloyd International ceased operations in June 1972, due to financial problems, and government intransigence. This repaint is of G-AOVS, in 1965. Textures are 32bit dds. This aircraft was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3D v1-3

British Midland Airways DC-3's Download

File Description:
Derby Airways was registered in 1959 and took over all services and aircraft previously operated by Derby Aviation. Derby Airways fleet of DC-3's reached a total of 8 for the 1961 season but one of those aircraft was destroyed in a crash in October of that year. The remaining 7 DC-3's continued with the airline well into the 60's. In July 1964 Derby Aviation announced that it would be changing it's name to British Midland Airways. The name change took place officially on the 1st October 1964. The last DC-3 was disposed of by British Midland in 1969. This set of repaints depicts the aircraft in various liveries that were used whilst flying under the British Midland name. Requires default DC-3.
