Hawaiian Airports Part 2
This scenery features the airports at PHJR John Rodgers Field, PHBK Barking Sands, NPS Ford Island and PHNG Kaneohe Bay. All runways, aprons, taxiways and buildings have been repositioned to their correct locations, and include custom textures based on photographs of the real airports. The scenery features many animated objects including people, aircraft, animals, waves, cars, trucks and many more. Full night textures with light maps are included.
All the scenery files have been sub-divided so they can be switched on or off according to user preference. It has been designed for, and tested in DX9 and FSXA only. The airports include sloped flattens so they can also be used with high density mesh. These airports have long runways and can easily cater for the 'heavies', PHJR now acts as a backup to the main airort at PHNL Honolulu. Runway 04 at PHNG is a real challenge, and requires a 90 degree turn under the mountains.

**** THIS FILE SUPERCEEDS MY ORIGINAL FILE posky_a330_300_v2_fsx.zip **** v2.1 - REPORTED BUGS HAVE BEEN CORRECTED. Introducing the Project Opensky A330-300 for Microsoft Flight Simulator X. Designed to be a competitor to the Boeing 777-200, Airbus Industries has out done itself creating a beautiful and fuel efficient flying machine capable of delivering passengers in safety and comfort well into the 21st Century and possibly beyond. Included in this package you will find the Airbus House scheme (With and without SATCOM), Air Canada, Cathay Pacific and Scandinavian Airlines (SAS - with SATCOM) liveries. All textures have been modified in DXT-3 format for crisp visuals without comprimising frame rates. Includes the FS-X default Airbus A321 panel (due to no A330 panel available for FS-X to date). This model has no Virtual Coclpit (VC) and is meant to fly using the 2-D panel only! Sounds have been alised to the default A321, however I recommend the excellent Rolls Royce Trent 700 sound package (file name:rrtrent700v3.zip located at AVSIM.com) for this aircraft. This file is for FS-X Only!

File Description:
LGRX - Araxos AB is a large Hellenic Airforce base located near Araxos Cape, Achaea Prefecture and serves the city of Patras as well as the western part of the Peloponese region. It is the home of the 116 Combat Wing. It is used by a few civilian airlines, mainly for the tourist industry.
The stock airport shows three runways in use, however in reality only one runway is currently used the centre runway is now the main taxiway.
I have added the civilian apron and terminal buildings and various buildings and hangers throughout the base, all are Generic Buildings. Parking for Military and Civilian use, a cargo ramp and lots of trees. As usual I used the fantastic ADE (Airport Design Editor) to design this airport but you should download the great lights package by Jim Dhaenens as I have used some of his Apron Lights. I have provided ILS in one version for simmers who like to fly with it, although there is no ILS at Araxos.

Here is a new San Diego scenery package that I designed for my personal use. I have had numerous requests to do more cities and airports so this is my first free scenery for 2004. Being the lazy person I am, no research was done and no claim to real life designs are implied.
I have added many objects to the airports and cities including terminals, hangers, buildings, stadiums, balloons, city scapes and other fun and interesting things. All of which were begged, borrowed or stolen from all the wonderful designers in the X-Plane Community such as Ken Spiker, Christian Franz, Ted Davis, Robert Bunce, Tom Curtis, B. Brooks and all the others who have inspired me. Many thanks to each of you for your contributions to the X-Plane community.
Like all my scenery packages, the additions to the citys and airports are purely fictional. The airports themselves are unaltered. I have enhanced "San Diego Intl.-Lindburg Fld. (KSAN), "North Island NAS. (KNZY), Miramar MCAS (KNKX), Imperial Beach NOLF (KNRS), General Abelardo L. Rodriquez Intl. (MMTJ) and a few other near by airports. A special thanks to Ted Davis for creating the orignal San Diego scenery that led me to adding to his great work. Also, Ken Spikers new KWIKCITYS package contributed to the completion of my version of San Diego and surrounding areas. His cities really added the crowning touch. Thanks Ken. If I inadvertently left out other object designers, it was purely unintentional and I offer my apologies.
Installation: Place the extracted "San Diego" folders in your "Custom Scenery" folder.

| Default New York JFK with Active Runways |

File Description:
A High quality AFCAD2 file for the default FS2004 New York JFK. This file has been completely rebuilt from scratch using information from the latest FAA charts (17th March 2005). All Aprons have been completely rebuilt and are modelled to be as near real as possible. Improvements have been made to the taxiways, including slight realignments where needed to avoid building collisions. The 'crosswind runway technique' has been applied to this airport to activate all runways for simultaneous use. This means all 4 runways at this airport will be used for simultaneous take-offs and landings, all the time. Full night lighting has been provided for taxiways and runways. On the default setup, more than 1 runway shared the same ILS frequency and these frequencies have now been altered by +.05 MHz to avoid conflicts. Approach lighting has been upgraded to "ALSF-2" on all runways to better assist your approaches in poor visibility. Displaced thresholds have also been modified to enable better traffic flow for landing aircraft. A 'Tower View' is now available. All real life gates at at each terminal within the airport are now available for use and they are correctly numbered as per real life and have the correct airlines assigned to them. Extra parking can be found at the GA Terminal, cargo bases and maintenance areas, and all real life helipads have been added to the airport. Additional overflow parking (remote stands) can be found at Terminal 4, UA Terminal 7 and AA Terminal 8/9. This AFCAD2 has been fully tested and all traffic flows as it should. If you have a large amount of traffic flowing thru JFK, this file will certainly bring the airport to life. Note: There are 2 versions included within this package: (1) Terminal 5 out of use as per real life (no gates added), (2) Terminal 5 in use, with gates allocated to TWA (as it was back then). Fort St James is a small town of around 1,600 folks at the southeastern end of Stuart Lake, at the head of the Stuart River, and around 360 miles north of Vancouver and 220 miles inland from the coast. It was a long-established trading post for furs, with a permanent presence there from 1806 onwards. The airfield is 3 miles south of the town and is called "Fort St James (Perison)" in the Nav Canada listings. I presume that this is part of their trend towards calling airfields by their location rather than by their name. Makes sense as it is difficult to find information by searching for an airfield that is listed under a name you don't know. The field has an asphalt runway of 4,000 feet aligned 10-28 and at 2,364 feet ASL. There is no lighting. The main user of the airfield is Interior Helicopters Ltd. who are based there as operators, and at Williams Lake as helicopter dealers. For the AI helicopters, there is a screenshot (01) of the AS350 helicopter installation folder when it has been transformed into an AI helicopter. The process is to download and install the Ecuriel AS 350, along with the additional textures, as normal; this is straightforward. Then you download the software shown in screenshot 02 and add it as instructed and as shown in 01 so that the helicopter now operates as AI, with a different air file and a modified config file. I should have included this with the Pemberton post. I have posted this as Fort St James CYJM, but I suggest that you just add it to your previously created "BC airfields" and avoid the inevitable doubling up of common textures etc. Up to you.
