JetBlue Airways, the official airline sponsor of the Boston Red Sox, unveiled this A320-232 bearing the Boston Red Sox logos and became the first commercial aircraft to officially wear a Major League Baseball uniform/logo. Here's a description taken from JetBlue's press release regarding the details included on this aircraft; "this special A320 trades its signature JetBlue branding for a gray paint scheme inspired by the classic Red Sox road uniforms complete with blue wing fences with the Red Sox 'B'and a gray tail featuring the team's iconic dangling red socks. The aircraft also includes a banner (below the pilot's windows) commemorating Fenway Park's 100th anniversary alongside the JetBlue and Red Sox logos." I hope all you MLB fans and Boston Red Sox fans enjoy flying this wonderful aircraft as much as I did creating it. Repainted textures in this package are 32-bit with no mipmaps for best clarity and quality. This is a complete install package. The Project Airbus A320 V2.1 model and air files are included. The 1st Airlift Squadron is a member of the 89th Airlift Wing of the 21st Air Force. It, along with the rest of the 89th AW, is based at Andrews AFB. The 1st AS flies the 2nd most famous aircraft in the world: "Air Force Two". Although its primary function is to provide air transportation to the Vice President (and occasionally the President), they frequently fly the First Lady, members of Congress, and foreign and domestic VIPs. 4 C-32As (757-200) are flown and flightplans are provided for each. As a group, these 4 planes visit 86 nations in the Americas (sans the Caribbean), Europe, Asia (sans the Mideast) and Oceania. Australia and Canada are toured extensively. The visits last between 1 & 6 hours. PAL would like to thank AI Aardvark for creating the most GPU friendly !->&<-! eye friendly 757-200 in the hobby and Tony Fosler for painting the AIA 757-200 in eye catching C-32A USAF colors. | Project Airlift 99th Airlift Squadron #1 |

File Description:
The 99th Airlift Squadron is a member of the 89th Airlift Wing stationed at Andrews AFB. Although the 99th flies more than C-9C VIP transports, there are no viable AI models for the other bizjets that they fly. There is an excellent C-9C paint by Boback Shahsafdari (aia_c9_c_usaf.zip) available at Avsim. It is based on the AI Aardvark DC-9-30. There are only 3 C-9C transports assigned to the 99th. Project Airlift has scheduled one C-9C to fly between Washington DC and the various HQ of the United States Air Forces in Europe. Another C-9C flies between the HQ of the Air Mobility Command and the HQ of the 15th and 21st Air Forces. The last C-9C visits the HQ of all major Air Force Commands in the CONUS during the week and spends the weekend ferrying VIPs between the HQ of the Air Combat Command and the HQ of the 8th, 9th, and 12th Air Forces. This is a repaint on the TDS (Tenkuu Developers Studio) Boeing 757-300 RR-PW 2040 Winglet model, in Delta Airlines livery, registration N596NW. Includes custom Cabin and Ground Support Equipment and personnel textures. I have included custom Scimitar Winglets for this paint if you wish to use it on the W2 Scimitar model. Lots of weathering and other details including photo real refuel station under right wing. Model developed by Tenkuu Developers Studio, features high resolution textures, dynamic flexing wings, nose gear steering, rudder lock, ground spoilers, low speed aileron locks at high speed, fully animated control surfaces, fully independent suspension, trim animation, opening passenger doors, rolling wheels, animated thrust reverse with reverser block doors, detailed textures, full night lighting, ground service vehicles and more. File Description:
Jet Airways Boeing 777-300ER for POSKY's 777-300 V2. Created for and tested in FS2004, FSX compatibility not guaranteed.
These textures are in 32-bit for quality and are primarily handpainted. Nearly every texture is totally customized and created with attention to detail, from the tires, doorways, landing gear details, spoiler details, flap details, different dirt patterns on each wing, new engine and pylon textures, custom engine blades and transparency, night lighting including a glow on the nose gear door and cabin lights that dim when the landing lights are turned off as well as the glow of the window lights on the wings and engines which also dim when the landing lights are off, reflections of antennas on the top and bottom of the fuselage, custom ground service vehicles, cargo bays, and much, much more, just explore the aircraft to see the amount of detail put into it.
Feel free to ZipDive for more preview shots, but there is so much more detail that the previews don't show.

Naval Air Station Sigonella, "The Hub of the Med", is a U.S. Navy installation at NATO Base Sigonella and an Italian Air Force base in Sicily, Italy. Although a tenant of the Italian Air Force, NAS Sigonella acts as landlord to more than 40 other U.S. commands and activities. It is located 15 km west and 11 km south of the city of Catania. Sigonella also serves as an Italian base for the 41º Stormo Antisom (41st Antisubmarine Warfare Wing). Among the aircraft that fly from this island base are U.S. Air Force C-130, C-17 and C-5 airlifters as well as KC refueling aircraft and a rotating squadron of forward-deployed U.S. Navy P-3 Orions. The Italian Air Force also fields the venerable Breguet Atlantic patrol aircraft. It is one of the most frequently used stops for U.S. airlift aircraft bound from the continental United States to Southwest Asia and the Indian Ocean. Scenery contains all new 3D models and AI aircraft. Package is stand-alone but additional downloads may be helpful (see docs for details).

The Piaggio P-180 is a high-speed high-efficiency turboprop aircraft. Capable of speeds up to 395 KTAS (or M0.68) up to its service ceiling of 41000ft. This performance is achieved by extreme aerodynamic optimization instead of sheer power. The end result is an aircraft that burns 40% less fuel than the average jet of comparable size, while flying at the same speed range, or 30% less than an equivalent size turboprop, as it flies much faster. The pusher propellers on the wings mounted much backwards thanks to the forward wing set make it a comfortable and quiet ride for the passengers, that also enjoy a very spacious cabin for an aircraft of this size.

Epic repair mission which brought Skylab into working order. Included
such great moments as Conrad being flung through space by the whiplash
after heaving on the solar wing just as the debris constraining it
gave way; deployment of a lightweight solar shield, developed in
Houston in one week, which brought the temperatures down to tolerable
levels. With this flight US again took manned spaceflight duration
record.
When the meteoroid shield ripped loose, it disturbed the mounting of
workshop solar array "wing" two and caused it to partially deploy.
The exhaust plume of the second stage retro-rockets impacted the
partially deployed solar array and literally blew it into space.
Also, a strap of debris from the meteoroid shield overlapped solar
array "wing" number one such that when the programmed deployment
signal occurred, wing number one was held in a slightly opened
position where it was able to generate virtually no power.
In the meantime, the space station had achieved a near-circular orbit
at the desired altitude of 435 kilometers (270 miles). All other
major functions including payload shroud jettison, deployment of the
Apollo Telescope Mount (Skylab's solar observatory) and its solar
arrays, and pressurization of the space station occurred as planned.
Scientists, engineers, astronauts, and management personnel at the
NASA Marshall Space Flight Center and elsewhere worked throughout
the first ten-day period of Skylab's flight to devise the means for
its rescue. Simultaneously, Skylab--seriously overheating--was
maneuvered through varying nose-up attitudes that would best maintain
an acceptable "holding" condition. Because of the loss of the
meteoroid shield, however, this positioning caused workshop
temperatures to rise to 52 degrees Celsius (126 degrees F). During
that ten-day period and for some time thereafter, the space station
operated on less than half of its designed electrical system, in the
partially nose-up attitudes, was generating power at reduced
efficiency. The optimum condition that maintained the most favorable
balance between Skylab temperatures and its power generation
capability occurred at approximately 50 degrees nose-up.
The crew rendezvoused with Skylab on the fifth orbit. After making
substantial repairs, including deployment of a parasol sunshade which
cooled the inside temperatures to 23.8 degrees C (75 degrees F), by
June 4 the workshop was in full operation. In orbit the crew conducted
solar astronomy and Earth resources experiments, medical studies, and
five student experiments; 404 orbits and 392 experiment hours were
completed; three EVAs totalled six hours, 20 minutes.

This is Mountain View, a small RCAF airfield at the eastern end of Lake Ontario on Prince Edward Island, some 40 miles west of Kingston. Mountain View is used for training during the summer months, and part of this training is for C-130 crews, who practice landing on rough or unprepared landing strips. The crews are based at Trenton, which is a large base 10 miles to the northwest on the mainland. There are (or were, I haven't seen it recently) numerous parked and ancient fighter planes such T-33's and Canadair Tutors; these could also have possibly been used for summer training or perhaps were just stored. Last summer there were only two hangars left standing; in 2002 there were five. In real life you would be on the lookout not only for C-130's but also (at certain times during the summer) for parachutists and also gliders. This airfield is one that you will fly over and not land on; I confess that I have cheated with the length of the 06L-24R gravel "practice" runway, so that it became possible for the FS version of a touch-n-go with a C-130 to be completed without using the grass. The aerial photograph shows the new "practice" gravel runway under construction.

Civilian "CS" (Competizione Sportiva=Sporting Race) versions of the known medium and torpedo bomber Savoia-Marchetti S.79 "Sparviero", deployed by Regia Aeronautica, or Italian Royal Air Force, were successfully flown (w/civil marks) in the "Istres-Damascus-Paris (Lindberg Cup)" 1937 air race, where they ranked the first three places of the final scoreboard. The also "civilian" "T" (Transatlantic) version of the very same S.79 performed exceptionally in the 1938 Atlantic crossing Roma-Dakar-Rio de Janeiro and in 1939 experimental test meant to verify the feasibility of an airline passengers and mail line between Italy and South America for the civilian airlines (Ala Littoria S.A.- Linee Aeree Atlantiche, later called L.A.T.I./Linee Aeree Transcontinentali Italiane) over the routes of Southern Atlantic Ocean.
3 new different GMax models, covering 3 different versions of the civilian S.79 described above and featuring the standard animated parts, such as all flight controls, props pitch and leading-edge slats. Ten (10) different liveries depicting all the S.79CS team which flew the 1937 Istres-Damascus-Paris Race, the 1938 Roma-Rio de Janeiro Expedition and the 1939 Transatlantic Test flight.
