Nome Sectional Chart Chunks Optimized For Moving Map Application

File Description:
Sectional chart chunks made from the August 2009 Sectional charts at the original scale, formatted in the WGS84 lat/lon geographic coordinate system for GPS, moving map application for flight simulation use. These chart chunks were converted to the JPEG format for compatibility and size. Coverage is the full Sectional area North and South divided into JPEG tiles. They are about 3k x 3k pixels at 2.5mb with coverage of 90nm x 130nm per tile. Included is also the projection files and world files. Note: This type of map is a equal grid and no further calibration is needed, only the two points referenced in the world file. Example: for users of FSM Moving Map, just mass import, done.

KCEF - Westover Air Reserve Base/Metropolitan Airport - Springfield/Chicopee, MA

File Description:
MS didn't do much with military bases in FSX. Here is an improved version of the stock Westover ARB. I added Military_cargo parking spaces and GA spaces at Metropolitan Airport which occupies a small part of Westover ARB. I added the fire station and fire trucks. I removed and replaced most default buildings, added additional buildings and moved the control tower. I added static fuel trucks, parking lots with cars, static planes, and light poles. I added, removed, or adjusted taxiways and aprons as needed to more closely resemble the real world base. Westover is the largest Air Reserve Base in the world and is a backup landing site for the space shuttle.

Real Night Water

File Description:
In the real world, at night, water appears all black. You can't see it from the air unless there is a reflection from the moon. To get this effect in fs2004, all water display effects have to be set to minimums, but then you lose all reflections. Not any more! Now with Real Night Water, you no longer have to mess with your diplay settings. The water appears black and there is even waves and moon reflections, just like in the real world. No more silver glaze over the water at night. It will work with default textures but was designed utilizing Extra Water by FullThrottleSims/Hector Davila (extrawater.zip) which is highly recommended and freeware available on this site.

Pakistan International Airlines PIA / KLM Boeing 737-900 PH-BXP utilizing the Project Opensky 737-900 model. It is depicted here wearing a special 'F1 tour' livery, designed by Virtual PIA. This special livery is designed to celebrate the start of Virtual PIA's F1 tour, which will follow the F1 world championship around the world. The aircraft is leased to VPIA from KLM, and therefore wears the Dutch registration, as well as the Dutch and EU flags in addition to the Pakistan flag. Visit www.vpia.org for more. RCTP Taoyuan International Airport Taiwan

File Description:
Updated version of the airport layout file (AFCAD) for the default RCTP Taoyuan International Airport in Taipei, Taiwan. The RCTP airport scenery in FSX is quite elaborate, but unfortunately has too many and wrongly numbered gates. This file removes the extra gates, assigns correct gates and terminals to all the major airlines, and adds realistic cargo parking spaces in the north apron. General parking on the EVA apron has been replaced by EVA and EVA Cargo spaces. The airport has been renamed as it has in real life, to "Taoyuan International". Tested with World of AI only. Parking for Taiwan-China direct flights at Terminal 2 for Chinese carriers provided. Tested with World of AI only.

Santiago de Compostela (Spagna)

File Description:
This scenario represents the city of Santiago de Compostela in northern Spain. It's fame is due to the fact that for over a millennium, according to Christian tradition, home of the mortal remains of St. James the apostle of Jesus. Santiago de Compostela, and the famous pilgrimage path of the same name, has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1985. The city is home of the Galician autonomous government (Xunta de Galicia), a place of religious pilgrimages of devotees from all over the world and university with over 500 years of history. In Santiago_de_Compostela_city file you will find two files that should be placed in addon scenery scenrery subfolder of FSX and this readme.txt. Good flight.

Voisin Hydro-Canard

File Description:
This aircraft type became a popular sight at aerial demonstration meets around the globe. Despite its marginal controllability, the Voisin set many records, and is largely responsible for creating an interest in aviation amongst all Europeans. Aircraft designer Henry Farman (responsible for the Farman observation aircraft of World War I), had his earliest flight experiences in Voisin aircraft. Perhaps the most famous man to ever fly a Voisin was the world renowned escape artist and magician, Harry Houdini, who became the first recorded pilot to ever successfully fly an aircraft in Australia. This plane has a VC, XML animations, custom airfile, and the animated pilot's scarf blows in the wind. happy flyin!

The Virtual Interior has an Inflight mode. Flight Model is 'payware quality' and was developed using real world A340 wind tunnel data, and in cooperation with Airbus Industrie and real world A340 Pilots.
