File Description:
This scenery is of the Hay River (CYHY)NT, Canada Airport located on the Southern side of Great Slave Lake. This small busy airport is an important part of the moving of freight and passengers to the North. During the spring and fall when the ice roads are not passable and the waterways cannot be used these Northern airports are vital to get the essential into Northern communities. Buffalo Airways is a great user of this airport for moving freight and passengers as well as operating a fleet of fire fighting tankers.

North American AT-6 Texan (G-TDJN)

File Description: This is a repaint for the freeware Warwick "Wozza" Carter AT-6G Texan. This repaint depicts the restored AT-6D 44-81506, G-TDJN, registered to David Nock. This aircraft was restored by Midwest Aero Restorations in the U.S. and completed in 2011. Restored with incredible detail and authenticity, the aircraft won the Reserve Grand Champion WWII award at Oshkosh that year. The aircraft has since arrived nearer to the owners home in the UK where it has been operating since 2012. The aircraft is finished in the markings of a true original wartime AT-6, that was operated as a 'squadron hack' by the 353rd FG in England during WWII. This repaint includes all new exterior textures (including specular and bump maps), new engine and modified wheel well textures, and new and modified cockpit textures throughout to provide the look of a restored factory fresh finish. This repaint requires the files t6texmod.zip and fsds_t-6update.zip to be installed first.

File Description: Reworked/upgraded textures for the Eckert/Carter/Flahault North American T-6G Texan (FSDS_T-6.ZIP),representing the classic SAAF livery. The SAAF operated Harvards from 1940 until Friday 17 November 1995 when, to celebrate the aircraft's 55 years' service, 55 Harvards took part in a final flypast at AFB Langebaanweg. This aircraft has often been seen on the airshow circuit flying as ZU-BAL. By Grant MacLean.
