File Description:
Burg military airfield, Paratrooper-training base-40. The airfield Cottbus is the one field of a row of military airfield sceneries. In the scenery are included the airfield and the technical supplies.
The airfield was put into operation in 1982 in duty of the NVA. Here were trained paratroopers of the NVA and other airborne-units.

| German Air Force RF-4F '35+62' of AG 52 |

Repaint for Alphasim's excellent RF-4F Phantom II, now released as freeware, depicting '35+62' of Aufklaerungsgeschwader (Recce wing) 52 in its early "Norm 72" camo scheme. The German Luftwaffe initially ordered the reconnaissance RF-4E in 1969, receiving a total of 88 aircraft which were delivered from January 1971 and retired in 1994. This aircraft is on display at the Luftwaffenmuseum Berlin-Gatow. Repaint was done utilizing the paint kit by Mark Harper and stencils and maintenance marks templates by Volker Prauss.

Repaint for Alphasim's RF-4E Phantom II, now released as freeware, depicting '35+18' of Aufklaerungsgeschwader (Recce wing) 52. This particular aircraft (RF-4E-45-MC, Bu-No. 69-7465) served as test bed for the depicted experimental camouflage scheme in 1982, later on leading to the "Norm 83" standard. Aircraft was given to the Turkish Airforce in 1992 as spare parts source. This repaint was done utilizing the paint kit by Mark Harper and stencils and maintenance marks templates by Volker Prauss.

| Lockheed L-1049 Prototype |

File Description:
The original XC-69 Prototype "The Beast" was purchased from Howard Hughes for $100,000 in 1950. Lengthened by 18ft 7 Inches, it became the prototype L-1049. Dressed up in special duds, the first flight occurred on 13 October 1950, and the rest is history. With a slightly different paint scheme, this aircraft was used by Lockheed as a test bed for future models, including the PO-2W / WV2. Original Aircraft by Team 1049 (Manfred Jahn, Roland Berger, Volker Boehme, Luis Pallas, Bill Tyne, and Stefan Werner), requires CalClassic L1049G. Repaint by Dan McManus

FS2004/FSX XC-69 / L-049 Constellation Prototype. The XC-69 is the Constellation that started it all. Originally designated as the "Excalibur", the Constellation had a legendary beginning and star studded designers. Depicted here in three liveries, rollout day colors, flight test colors, and USAAF delivery colors. This aircraft would later be transformed into the first L-1049 and finally the first WV-2. Original Aircraft by Team 749 (Manfred Jahn, Roland Berger, Volker Boehme, Luis Pallas, Bill Tyne, and Stefan Werner), requires CalClassic / Team 749 L749 package, will work with or withou updated mdl files.
