P3D FSX FS2004 Flight Analyzer Utility FsQC V6.19

File Description:
Flight Data Recorder - with Logbook. Now with a graphical Chart from the entire flight. Also Prepar3D, FS2004 and FSX Steam supported. Very easy to use, just make a flight plan in the simulator or in this utility. (But please read the readme.txt file) What this program does: quickly change the settings of P3D/FSX/FS2004, such as time, date, fuel, weight, traffic etc. Start a failure sytem, such as gear, flaps, engine, etc. runway detecting system to see wich runways are in use. Quickly look at Airport Info for all possible info such as: ILS, Radio, RW length, Elevation, etc, etc. This is all fully freeware. RAF Swanton Morley - Norfolk, England

File Description:
Swanton Morley was a new station planned under the RAF expansion scheme but not completed to the same standard before the start of the Second World War. It was part of No. 2 Group in Bomber Command until December 1944 when it was given over to 100 Group - the RAF unit responsible for countering German defences against the British strategic bombing - as they needed another airfield close to their HQ at Bylaugh Hall.

On 4 July 1942, American and British airmen took off from this station as part of the first combined bombing raid of World War II. No 226 Squadron had been tutoring the US 15 Bombardment Squadron. Both Winston Churchill and General Eisenhower were at RAF Swanton Morley for this mission, which saw six crews from 15th Bombardment Squadron fly a raid with six crews from the RAF, using Boston light bombers belonging to No. 226 Squadron RAF. The raid was made at low level against German airfields in the Netherlands. During World War II the station was home to the Bomber Support Development Unit (BSDU) of No. 100 Group RAF.

After World War II the station was home to No 1 Air Signaller's School and later to the Central Servicing Development Establishment (CSDE) and the Maintenance Analysis and Computing Establishment (MACE).

From June 1953 to 1995 the station was also used by 611 Volunteer Gliding School, when the station was listed for closure under Options for Change. The station held popular airshows during the 1980s. Boeing B-52H CONECT

File Description:
In July 2013, the Air Force began a fleet-wide technological upgrade of its B-52 bombers called Combat Network Communications Technology (CONECT) to modernize electronics, communications technology, computing, instrumentation, and avionics on the flight deck. CONECT upgrades include software and hardware such as new servers, modems, radios, data-links, receivers, digital flight deck and workstations for the crew. Making the B-52 compatible with 21st century flight and combat roles.

RAF Church Fenton

File Description:
RAF Church Fenton (ICAO: EGXG) was an Royal Air Force station in North Yorkshire, near the village of Church Fenton. Plans for a new airfield adjacent to the village of Church Fenton were announced in June 1935, it was subject to protest from the local population particularly concerning the waste of valuable farming land and was close to an existing airfield not far away at Sherburn. Despite the protests construction started in early 1936 on the site, which was a mixture of private and West Riding County Council-owned farm land. On 1 April 1937, the station was declared open and on 19 April the first station commander Wing Commander W.E. Swann assumed command. Within two months No. 71 Squadron RAF had arrived with their Gloster Gladiators. Second World War Opened in 1937, the station saw the peak of its activity during the years of the Second World War, when it served within the defence network of fighter bases of the RAF providing protection for the Leeds, Bradford, Sheffield and Humberside industrial regions. During September 1940, it became home to the first RAF "Eagle squadron" of American volunteers being No. 71 Squadron RAF. The airfield was also home to both the first all-Canadian and all-Polish squadrons, with No. 242 Squadron RAF for the Canadians and No. 306 Squadron RAF for the Polish. As technologies evolved, the first night fighter Operational Training Unit (54 OTU) was formed at Church Fenton in 1940 and stayed until 1942. RAF Burn

File Description:

On 6 January 1944 No. 578 Squadron RAF squadron was relocated to RAF Burn from RAF Snaith. This Bomber Command squadron flew Handley Page Halifax Mk. III before disbanding on 15 April 1945 and the station was closed for flying operations in July 1945. On the night of 30 March 1944, Pilot Officer Cyril Joe Barton took off from RAF Burn in Halifax LK797 for a raid on Nuremberg, and won a posthumous Victoria Cross for valour. Shortly after flying was discontinued, the Royal Army Service Corps took over some facilities to store surplus equipment. ] Many of the buildings have been dismantled but all three runways remain intact and are used by Burn Gliding Club Ltd.

FSDEM 1.1

File Description:
FSDEM is a graphical tool designed to help on the editing and correction of NASA SRTM (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission) terrain elevation meshes, and to create terrain mesh scenery to be used in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002/2004.

Program main features:

• Can read SRTM-1 and SRTM-3 HGT file types.
• Automatic reading of HGT files from ZIP files (as distributed by USGS), saving disk space. No need for external decompressors.
• Can read binary raster files. Useful to import DEM data from 3rd party GIS applications.
• Easy-to-build mosaic: just select the HGT source folder and the coordinates of the bounding rectangle, and the program will join the appropriate HGT files into a single working mesh, fully editable, on-screen.

AFG YS-11m V2.7 JASDF 40th anniversary

Dave's Aerodrome Airport (7NJ9), NJ

File Description:
Located 01 miles SW of Cedarville, New Jersey on 43 acres of land, Dave's Aerodrome Airport is a private turf field 2000' with a 600' displaced threshold on Runway 12. Each runway has a clear 20:1 approach slope, but in the case of Runway 12 be sure to aim for a landing past the hangar! There are power lines running along the road at the runway threshold that are not just there for decoration - come in too low and FSX will register a crash. In real life they have red balls on them - unfortunately I have no way of adding those in the sim at this time. So be on the lookout while on approach. Also take note that it is a right pattern for Runway 12 and a left pattern for Runway 30. The windsock is located next to the hangar and is not lit. There are no lights at this airport so daytime VFR operations only are suggested. No services are offered for transient aircraft. There is no hard-surfaced runway, you will be landing on bare terrain so set your mesh complexity slider as high as it will go for the best effect. Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview/aerial photos - the author has not been there in person. This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New Jersey/Delaware 005. It is not required, but apron use is minimized to allow satellite scenery to show through as much as possible, and objects are placed based on the MSE textures - lack of it may make scenery look out of place.

Beechcraft Staggerwing (VH-AFP)

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the Alabeo Beech Staggerwing in the colors of VH-AFP, as it looked in the early sixties. This machine (c/n 357) was originally built as a D17A and registered in the USA as NC20778 to The Armor Institute on 1 November 1939. It took part in their 1940-41 Antarctic Expedition (which I painted as well), following which it was purchased by Connellan Airways in 1941. However, the aircraft was impressed by the RAAF as A39-2 prior to use by Connellan. Post war the aircraft was returned to Connellan where the original 380 hp Jacobs engine was replaced by a 450 hp Pratt & Whitney Wasp Junior, bringing the aircraft up to D17S standard. It was first registered as VH-AFP on 19 March 1947. VH-AFP was withdrawn from service on 6 August 1951, however it was stored and returned to service in 1956, being re-registered on 3 April. The aircraft was once again withdrawn from service in November 1957 and was sold to Tadgell Aviation of Toowomba, Qld and used for crop seeding. It struck a tree and crashed on 22 December 1963 while seeding at Springton, near Dingo, Qld. Sadly the pilot was killed. The burnt out airframe of this Staggerwing was located in April 2007 at the remote crash site and collected by Staggerwing enthusiast Cameron Hanley and trucked to his hangar at Caboolture, Qld where he is rebuilding Beech C17B VH-UXP (for which two repaints are available as well). Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the blank textures by Alabeo.
