FS2004 Curtiss C46 VC And Failure Model, v2. For the C46 Curtiss Commando aircraft by Libardo Guzman Garcia, Greg Pepper, and Tom Gibson (GAC46V2.ZIP). This is my Version 2 and it supersedes my previous uploads (c46bflvc.zip, c46bflfix.zip, c46bfl_up.zip). It adds a virtual cockpit similar to the Buffalo Airways C46 cockpit as well as pilot induced and random failures/damages through gauges originally developed by Charles Owens for the DC3C (most failures) and by Robert Graf (carburetor icing and oil consumption) for the DC-6. These gentlemen together with Gunter Tesons RealEngine_v14 have really made flying piston aircraft a lot more interesting. The frequency of random failures can be adjusted between "never" and "certain" but you always have to watch the engine limitations, carburetor icing, and oil consumption.
Further gauges by other authors are used or have been modified or have been developed by me. Version 2 increases the number of failures (engine, fire, leaks, systems, equipment, instruments), and introduces an improved upper overhead panel, an abbreviated interactive checklist on the panel, and reduced braking in rain, snow and freezing rain. Version 1 is not required for Version 2. See the C46BFL ReadMe V2.txt for further details and credits. | Cork Airport File 1.0 |

File Description:
This is the first file of a few files I will be releasing for Cork Airport Ireland {EICK} in FS2002. This is just a small, basic Afcad file to correct the parking at Cork airport. This Afcad file will make all the aircraft at Cork airport {including your aircraft}, park sideways against the building as in real life at Cork airport, instead of parking facing the building. All the starting points will also change to a sideways heading of 166. This will also change the gate numbers and will stop the atc using the term 'parking' all the time. It will change gate 1 to medium, gate 2 to heavy, gate 3 to small, gate 4 to medium {cargo}, parking 5 to ramp GA small, parking 6 to ramp GA small, and parking 7 to ramp GA small. All runways {17/35,07/25}, taxiways, traffic, and atc have been left alone. Parking and buildings are a mess at Cork airport in FS2002, therefore, the file is not perfect. I plan to release further traffic and scenery files for Cork airport in the future. This file requires AFCAD by Lee Swordy. Details of where to get it within download.
The progressive taxi instructions will also not change, neither will the pink line on the taxiways. The pink line will not turn sideways at the gates, but you must turn and park sideways at a heading of around 166 to park properly.

| Windward Farms Airport (4NJ0), NJ |

File Description:
Located 02 miles NW of Rosemont, New Jersey, Windward Farms Airport is a private turf strip. Like most small private turf strips this one can prove to be slightly challenging when it comes to taking off and landing - especially in a crosswind. The runway threads between two separate stands of trees to either side, and 1/4 of the Runway 11 left side is hedged by small trees and bushes. While the published dimensions for this strip are 3500x150 feet, in reality the usable runway space is really 3000x100 feet due to vegetation. This airport as rendered in FSX does not have an actual runway surface, so when you land you will be landing on actual terrain. There isn't a noticeable slope but it can be bumpy so use caution! Edge lighting is provided for the runway, although night landings/takeoffs are not recommended. There are no services provided by this airfield. After landing why not taxi over to the hangar and feed the sheep grazing in the pasture?
Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview/aerial photos - the author has not been there in person.
This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New York 007. It is not required, but apron use is minimized to allow satellite scenery to show through as much as possible, and objects are placed based on the MSE textures - lack of it may make scenery look out of place.

| VT ANG Air Museum Collection - Part 3 |

The Vermont Air National Guard was organized on 1 July 1946 at Burlington Municipal Airport and was federally recognized as the 134th Fighter Squadron on 14 August 1946 making it the fifth US ANG unit so formed and recognized. Since that time the VT ANG has flown eight different aircraft types in its primary mission and several more in support of it. Their primary mission aircraft include the P-47D-40, P-51D-25, F-94B, F-89J, F-102A, EB-57B, F-4D, F-16A and the current F-16C. Their mission support aircraft include the L-5, AT-6C, AT-11, C-47B, T-33A, C-45H (?), C-54G, C-131D, C-12F and C-26A. The VT ANG has a small air museum near the main gate to their base at Burlington International Airport which currently includes a T-33A, F-94B, F-89J, F-102A, F-4D, EB-57B, C-47B, C-45H and C-131D. My virtual VT ANG Air Museum Collection for FS9 is an attempt by an old 134th FS veteran to duplicate and expand upon the actual VT ANG's Air Museum. This third download package, vamc3.zip, includes VT ANG repaints of the T-33A Shooting Star, F-89J Scorpion and F-102A Delta Dagger by Kazunori Ito. The T-33A and F-89J repaints are mine and the F-102A repaint was a collaboration between YANKEE and I.

At 4:30 A.M. on May 10, 1940, three Junkers Ju 52's took off from the Cologne airfields of Ostheim and Butzweilerhof, towing behind them three other aircraft that lacked motors. The first front service of a new weapon, the freight glider, developed by the DFS (Deutsche Forschungsanstalt fur Segelflug / German Research Institute for Sailplane Flight), had begun. A total of 41 DFS-230 freight gliders with 400 paratroopers were launched for this mission. It was their task to take the Belgian Fort Eben Emael near Maastrich. With this successful operation the crossing of the Albert Canal was secured and the cornerstone of Belgian defense fell in German hands.
These assault gliders were also used during the Krete invasion (1941). The DFS 230's last significant use was during the 'Eichen' operation: 10 assault gliders were used to deliver the group of hand picked commandos led by Otto Skorzeny against the Gran Sasso mountain-top hotel that was used to hold Mussolini. The Royal Italian Air Force (Regia Aeronautica) received from Luftwaffe, during 1941, almost 20 DFS-230 and 4 Gotha Go-242 assault gliders. These aircrafts were used only for pilot training until 09/1943.

Pan American World Airways, known from its founding until 1950 as Pan American Airways[1] and commonly known as Pan Am, was the principal and largest international air carrier in the United States from 1927 until its collapse on December 4, 1991. Founded in 1927 as a scheduled air mail and passenger service operating between Key West, Florida, and Havana, Cuba, the airline became a major company credited with many innovations that shaped the international airline industry, including the widespread use of jet aircraft, jumbo jets, and computerized reservation systems. It was also a founding member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the global airline industry association.[3] Identified by its blue globe logo ("The Blue Meatball"), the use of the word "Clipper" in aircraft names and call signs, and the white pilot uniform caps, the airline was a cultural icon of the 20th century. In an era dominated by flag carriers that were wholly or majority government-owned, it was also the unofficial overseas flag carrier of the United States. Centurion Cargo is a privately owned company founded in 2001. Based at
Miami International Airport, it currently operates a fleet of ten MD-11F,
and has an impressive 550,000 square foot warehouse, divided into two
different sections, a 159,000 square foot cooler and 391,000 square foot
Dry Cargo Area. The Centurion Cargo Center is by far the largest privately
owned all cargo airline facility in North America.
Centurion is one of the leading cargo airlines operating to and from
Latin America and is No. 1 in the handling of live animals and perishable
goods. Centurion has recently expanded its network to include 4 weekly flights
from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. We also offer worldwide charter, handling, and
security services among others.
FSX McDonnell-Douglas MD-11F repaint textures for the real world
Centurion Cargo N985AR "Frank Fine", but with the freeware version's Pratt and
Whitney engines. She is named after the late Miami aviation pioneer Frank Fine,
who started in aviation as Agro Air Associates and later lead both Fine Air
and Arrow Air. For the freeware SMS Overland MD-11 with P&W 4460 engines, which
you must have previously installed in FSX. I installed the freeware
(SMS-MD-11_Dutch_Package.zip) with VC which works well with this repaint.
Also includes engine exhaust smoke coordinates which you can add to
your "aircraft.cfg" if you wish. Screenshots enclosed. Easy installation.

B25-B Mitchell Doolittle's Raiders A/C No. 40-2344, April 18, 1942. Painted over The B24 Guy's B25 Mitchell Overhaul Model. This was mission plane #1. Flownby Pilot: Lt. Col. James Doolittle, Co-pilot: Lt. Richard Cole, Navigator: Lt. Henry Potter, Bombardier: Sgt. Fred Braemer, Engineer/Gunner: Sgt. Paul Leonard. The bomb group attacked targets in the Tokyo area. The North American B-25B was not designed or intended for aircraft carrier use, but there they were, sixteen highly modified bombers sitting on the deck of the USS Hornet (CV-8). They were modified to carry bombs to Tokyo. The B-25s are launched from their maximum range, and flew over Tokyo, bombing several installations. The bombs did little damage, but managed to damage the Japanese carrier Ryuho while it is in drydock. Many of the planes then head to wherever they can make it, since the fuel will be empty before they reach a friendly airbase. All of the B-25 bombers are forced to bail out or crash land except one. Eleven crews are forced to bail out over China, 3 crash land, and the last landed safely at Vladivostok. The crew that landed in Russia was interned, along with the plane, for a while. The crews were all volunteer, and had no carrier experience, yet all sixteen of the bombers were successful on take-off. Texture, and Damage Files included.
