a repaint of the Beaufighter that is currently under restoration at Duxford .textures for CBFS beaufighter. 02/07/43 1 AD. 11/09/43 31 Sqn. 03/10/43 Crash landed. 10/10/43 14 ARD repaired. 04/12/43 31 Sqn. 16/12/43 Aircraft was flown by SQDLDR �Butch� Gordon and strafed a barge of Japanese troops alongside a freighter at Lautem Timor. He then engaged several �Nicks� painted chocolate and bright green, shooting down one and damaging another (McAuley p.232). 03/01/44 Tail wheel collapsed on landing and pilot retracted undercarriage to avoid hitting parked aircraft. 14/01/44 4 RSU. 01/12/44 Converted to components. Aircraft is currently under restoration to fly with The Fighter Collection at Duxford Airfield in England. Remains from the tail section of A19-36, a centre section of the fuselage from A9-148 and the cockpit of another Australian Beaufighter are being used in the restoration.

File Description:
Construction by Mikael Seedorff. July 2008. This time I have added figures to make it easier to choose Speed and Head holding when in Panel Off-mode (W) for FSX.
This Mini Panel is for 4-engine, 3-engine, 2-engine and 1-engine aircraft. All works pretty well for all these panel-type. For those of you who don't know What a Mini Panel is I will try to explain. When you are flying ordinary you will have your panel in front of you in the socalled Panel mode. Now click W and you will be in Panel Off mode seeing that Mini Panel which the aircraft is programmed for. Normally you can't use the shown instrument for anything. This new Mini Panel in Panel Off mode has all what you need for flying purpose, particularly in Takeoff/Landing situations. Because of the small size you can have a maximum view over the area all the time. I hope you will enjoy this panel.

Vistaliners's 727-024C in Continentals 1967 Golden Jet Delivery Livery with medium weathering effects.This is Continentals #1 of only 5 727-100s to every wear Continentals Golden jet livery,and they only wore this livery for a very short period of time before getting the black meatball livery applied to them.Making this paint an even more rare collectible livery.
Under a new agreement,HJG-Historic Jetliners Group is now hosting the Vistaliners 727s and as of this posting,the 727-100 base packs have been finished.HJG has produced aircraft specific very authentic FDE's for these aircraft and all are now available on the HJG website.
So I suggest everyone go to HJG and grab these base packs and update their existing 727-100s with these new updates.These new FDE's are top notch and the panel is also adapted for use with the -100 as well.

File Description:
This is a fictitous scenery of the Alaska State University operated North-Western observatories.
It is located near LSR_Lost River and AK45_Lost River_2 on the Western coast of Alaska.
LSR, AK45 and KPC_Port Clarence have been upgraded with hangers and various objects.
LSR, AK45 and the (2) mountain top observatories have been upgraded with helipads along with various ground vehicles including snocats, aircraft, misc buildings and hangers. The main observatory complex has a main rooftop pad and a heli-tower. These helipads were designed for heli practice. some are on the ground and others are a bit more challenging.
There is a map included which shows the locations of the observatory complexes in relation to the airports. There is also a small research facility located to the east which is indicated on the map. This fictional scenery was design with default FSX 3D objects and (1) addon library, fa_ez-arctic_set by Finney Air, Robert Finnegan.

| NEW Realistic HUD for the FSX F/A-18 Hornet |

A realistic head-up display (HUD) for the FSX Acceleration F/A-18 Hornet. The HUD is an enhanced version of the original HUD for the F/A-18 by Scott Printz. The original functionality Scott built into it is preserved, and the following new features are added: 1) Precise ILS and TACAN navigation for aircraft carriers (including moving carriers) that allow carrier landings in low visibility and at night. 2) The HUD symbology is conformal to the outside world: The horizon bar stays on the horizon, velocity vector shows actual flight path as read against the outside world (if you keep your vector pointed at a certain spot on the runway, this is exactly where you will land). 3) Caged mode with ghost vector for use in heavy side wind conditions. 4) Elements repositioned to make the HUD look as close as possible to the real Hornet HUD. Santa's Sleigh & 8 Reindeer - AI Version.
It is rumored that Rudolph is ill and may not be able to lead the Reindeer this Christmas so Santa is making some test flights with just the original eight reindeer. He has chosen a remote airfield near Steamboat Springs, Colorado (81CO) named Mesa 1. Of course you can place this AI version at the location of your choice. I have taken the original flyable model by Dundee Prototypical Simulations (available here as santa.zip) and tweaked it for use as an AI craft, using parameters usually associated with Helicopters to let Santa practice shorter takeoffs and landings.
ALL necessary files are included. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the simple installation instructions. As a bonus, there is also a set of instructions showing how to set this up as a continuously running display on your screen - a nice option for the Holidays. Compiled for Kids of all ages by David "Opa" Marshall.

LGKA - ADE enhanced scenery, Aristotelis Airport Greece. FSX scenery only, no big frame-hits - uses only default scenery objects.
One night this winter, I tried to land at LGKA. The regional airport Aristotelis, since I was on my way to Turkey and finally Israel.
When I was cleared to land, with a visibility around 1 or 2 N.miles I couldn't find the airport even though the VOR and NDB guided me straight to it.
Suddenly the airport appeared as I passed over it. There was no lighting at the airport even though charts promised me lit runways. The airport was barren, desolate. So that meant work! With the aid of ADE I added runway lighting, added some buildings, a fuel trigger and other stuff to have a nice airport in NW Greece. Not completely 100% accurate where buildings are concerned, but just fun. It 's yours. if you want it. AVSIM upload only

This German assault/freight glider, developed by the DFS (Deutsche Forschungsanstalt fur Segelflug / German Research Institute for Sailplane Flight), was used for the first time during the operation against the Belgian Fort Eben Emael near Maastrich (May 10, 1940). They were also used during Krete invasion (Maleme, 1941), in the Western Desert and on the Russian Front for transport purposes. Were used also to deliver the Otto Skorzeny's commandos against the Gran Sasso mountain-top hotel that was used to hold Mussolini (Sept.12, 1943).
The Royal Italian Air Force (Regia Aeronautica) received from the Luftwaffe almost 20 '230 and 4 Gotha Go-242, but they were used only for training.
UPGRADED VERSION, now with functionally jettisonable undercarriage, drag chute and revised flight dynamics. Complete aircraft. Original GMAX hi-res model, features the usual moving parts, such as all flight controls, canopy and doors (5 different versions); Five different liveries (4 'LW' +1 "R.A.'); multiview 2D panel (NO VC). On 13, October 1923, a special USN board directed that semiportable mooring masts (160-foot poles of steel tubing 16 inches in diameter and braced by three sets of guy wires) were to be erected at Forth Worth, San Diego and Camp Lewis (Washington State). In August of 1924, it was decided that the USS Shenandoah (ZRS-1) would make a set of flights's from her base at NAS Lakehurst to the West Coast and back, using the mooring masts at Fort Worth, San Diego and Seattle (Camp Lewis). In accordince with this plan, the USS Shenandoah arrived at the Naval Air Station North Island at 2300 on 10 October 1924, and landed on the ground. She was then secured to the mooring mast the following morning, during daylight. She remained moored to the mast for the next five days, while some damage that was done during the landing the previous evening, was repaired.
