Tips and Tricks - Part 6. A new collection of Tips and Tricks - several of which have been provided by readers of this series. This issue includes, amongst other things, a tip that may help you use FS2002 aircraft in FS2004, a flying "challenge" that is unique to say the least and several other recommendations that may be of interest. A bonus file is included also. My goal, as usual, is to provide something of value for simmers of all experience levels. Compiled in .doc and .pdf formats for your flying enjoyment by David "Opa" Marshall. Please unzip (with folders option checked) to a temporary folder. Enjoy!

File Description:
Lavrentiya is a small Russian town in the Tchoukotka region, boarding the Bering Strait. It has a small airport (missing in FS9). Airport facilities are fictional, but all is situated in the right location. In addition, I enhanced the Wales airport, situated on the Alaskan shores of the Bering Strait (about 50 nm), and made some AI traffic files (with Russian/Soviet Antonov-24) between the 2 airports. Tested in FS2004 only.

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Douglas A-26 Invader by Milton Shupe and many others at Sim-Outhouse. It shows A-26C 43-22498 5C-R "Dinah Might" of the 671st BS, 416th BG, Laon, spring 1945. It painted it earlier as a A-26B, but I found more pictures, showing it to be a A-26C, with different noseart on the left side. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom.

Freight Runners Express operates a cargo fleet including one B1900C, 7 Beech99Fs, and 3 C402Bs. Hub operations out of General Mitchell Field (KMKE) Milwaukee with scheduled flights primarily in Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. Ad Hoc cargo operations cover a much wider area and are included.

This AFCAD2 and new Cargo buildings are for the default Houston Bush Intercontinental Airport 2010. Gates are at their Approximate locations. Airlines are shown in the correct terminals as possible. Added new Runway 26R/8L and changed 26/8 to 26L/8R. ILS is active for the new runway. I have added PAPI 4 lights too. These files also remove buildings and trees where the new runway is.

Central Mountain Air operates flights in British Columbia and Alberta, Canada, with a fleet of 12 Raytheon/Beech B1900Ds and two Dornier 328-100s. Flights were taken from Flightaware and cross-checked with the airline's published schedule. 99.50% of scheduled flights for September 26 - October 2, 2010 including charters. Please note that the times given are Daylight Savings Time which was in effect during the week in question.

Hello everyone and welcome to Paris Orly. his AFCAD file is LFPO Mega Airport Paris-Orly X in FSX, not tested with FS9.
A single file that allows for takeoffs on runway 24 and landings runway 26 where as the wind takeoff on runway 08 and landing on runway 06. I also worked on the allocation of gates by airline and also creates the "Gateway 5C" south terminal.

Bydgoszcz Ignacy Jan Paderewski Airport (IATA: BZG, ICAO: EPBY) is a Polish regional airport in the city of Bydgoszcz, Poland. It lies only 3.5 km (2.2 nm) from the city center. It is the tenth airport in Poland in terms of passenger traffic. Currently the airport features one passenger terminal and four runways, the main being 08/26 which is 2,500 x 60 m (8,202 x 197 ft).

I redid my last KDEN file with no overlays.**EASY INSTALLATION**Runway 8/26/16/34 for takeoffs only, runway 17R/35L/7/25 for landings only; depends on the wind direction... there are 2 files.. one for the default scenery and one for the scenery by Harald Krause.
