| Sabena ‘Circa 1975’ Boeing 747-100 |

File Description:
This is a repaint of the 747-129 in Sabena classic colors. The freeware 747-100 by Project Open Sky - POSKY is needed for this repaint. The model needed is "OS741V4_JT9D3". Sabena was founded in 1923 and was Belgium's national carrier until 2001. Throughout its history it had a long tradition of service to African destinations and for a long time these were the most profitable routes served by the airline. In the 1960s, Sabena introduced the Boeing 707-329 Intercontinental to its fleet and placed it into service on January 19, 1960. It was also the first airline from mainland Europe to operate a jet across the Atlantic. They had an extensive network in Europe, and to many points worldwide. It was one of the great airlines of Europe. Sabena, however, did not do well finacially in later years, and on November 7 2001 it closed its doors for good.
This repaint was tested on FSX-SE, but should work on P3D v1-3 and FSX.

Project Opensky Boeing 747SP with Rolls-Royce RB211 engines in the classic green stripe livery of Cathay Pacific. Cathay did not operate this variant of the 747 in the real world. Complete aircraft included - just copy the aircraft folder to your MSFS aircraft folder and fly. Created with FS2004 and not tested in FSX. File replaces my previous textures-only release...see readme for details. [re-load after AVSIM library incident, with minor wing leading edge detail changes]

FS2002 Version 3.0. This aircraft is a product of ten months of work and has been completely scratch rebuilt in GMax and is not based on previous versions. Main features are reflective textures; animated flexing wings; animated control surfaces; dynamic wing views; nosegear and maingear steering; animated passenger and cargo doors; animated tilting and compressing gear struts; compound slats; and a lot more.
