Cathay Pacific is the leader in air transportation and cargo for Hong Kong. With ever rising demands, the
company aquired the 747-8F to replace the older -400s in their fleet. B-LJD is 2.6 years old (at time the
of this release) and first flew on the 14th of April in 2013. The aircraft is powered by 4xGEnx-2B67s and
has a line number of 1438.
Flighfx presents a high detail rendition of this livery with over 200 layers of custom dirt/shine details.

Model Features include fully animated control surfaces, fully independent suspension, main gear steering, trim animation, opening passenger doors, opening cargo doors, dynamic flexing wings, animated tilting bogies, rolling wheels, animated thrust reversers, fully reflective textures ( each part has different degree of reflection based on material ), accurate flight dynamics ( accurate FDE with full profiles for wheels, tires, struts, leading/trialing struts, engine types ... Tested by real pilots.), newly re-defined individual part damage profiles, accurate spoiler animation, detailed textures, full night lighting, visible landing lights from the cockpit, reflective cockpit windows, crash effects, transparent nav light lenses, newly re-defined individual part damage profiles. This repaint is based on 4K-SW881, the first -8F freighter for Silkway West Airlines leased from GECAS and soon to be delivered to the airline in early 2014.
The aircraft was hand painted using the PMDG paint kit and features and includes DDS DXT5 textures, updated specular textures, custom night lighting with increased illumination and custom cockpit views.
PMDG 747-400X for FSX and 747-8i/8F add-on packages are BOTH required. See readme for important installation instructions and enjoy the repaint.

This repaint is based on a real-world Lufthansa aircraft, D-ABYT currently in flight test and soon to be delivered to the carrier later this year. It features the Lufthansa retro livery with the darker blue , old tail logo and cheatline of the 1970s-1980's livery.
The D-ABYT repaint adds the latest texture improvements including more accurate engine textures as per real-world aircraft.
