Spherical Distance Calculator

File Description:
This is a little calculator used to calculate the spherical distance from one point to another, based upon latitude and longtitude. It comes pre-loaded with the locations of the default MSFS 2004 airports, which are available via dropdown boxes. You can add your own if you want. You must have 2003 version of Excel or compatible to use. No guarantee on accuracy, but I have found it useful in setting up AI flight plans.

Descent Rate Calculator

File Description:
Here is something I developed for calculating the correct descent rate during non-precision approaches. Ever fly KSAN rwy 27, TNCM rwy 9, or any approach where ILS just wasn't available? Just plug in your parameters in the yellow fields and let the formula calculate away. Guaranteed to work with FSX, FS9, FS8 with any altitude, airspeed and distance from the airport. No VASI or PAPI required to hit those aiming point bars! Smooth landings, however, are up to you! This is the same type of calculator that modern aircraft derive from their FMC everyday. Flight Parameter Calculator

File Description:
The Flight Parameter Calculator provides the solution to several commonly used values for various aspects of flight operations. The list of functions is provided in the user guide included in both a text and pdf document. When used with the licensed version of FSUIPC required for the specific flight simulator in use the calculator works with FSX, FSX-SE, and all versions of P3D. The script currently will not work in MSFS 2020 due to issues related to issues with the MSFS 2020 SimConnect function which is beyond control of the script’s author. Improvements by the MSFS 2020 development team may allow the Flight Parameter Calculator to work in MSFS 2020 in the future.

Easy Descent Calculator v1.3

File Description:
Easy Descent Calculator is a small program to help pilots estimate their point of descent during a flight. Its original name was Descent Calculator, but there are other files with the same name so from this version, "Easy" has been added. New features include, new interface, FSUIPC compability to read and set Autopilot values from FS while you're flying, all user values saved in registry, etc.
