File Description:
This is an up to date Afcad file as of June 2015 for Mega Airport Xtended Heathrow airport. Updates from the original AFX include recent terminal movements including TAM and some British Airways flights to T3, EL AL and Transaero to T4 and Icelandair moving to T2. T1 is now closed (as of 30th June) so no planes will park at T1 gates anymore. GA parking has been changed to where they would normally park and cargo parking updated. Other improvements such as Terminal 4 departures taxiing to 27L using the correct taxiways instead of crossing the active runway in the original AFX file and aircraft taking of from 27L no longer take a long time to line up and depart.

UPDATE - Islip Long Island MacArthur Airport (KISP) Main Terminal

File Description:
Flight Simulator 2004 Main terminal scenery for Islip Long Island MacArthur Airport (KISP). I have tried to as accurately recreate the main terminal at KISP according to my personal experience working there for a number of years, and from images I was able to find on the web. This is just a starting point, and anyone who wants to take my GMAX source to the next level PLEASE DO SO! I am not an expert in GMAX, and I believe it would be great to add animation to the gates for realism. Please also check out my AFCAD file that accurately represents the current and historical gate assignments as well. This update corrects some of the jetway positions to better fit with the new AFCAD for KISP. It makes the ramp better able to handle the traffic with the Ultimate Traffic add-on for FS2004. The AFCAD filename is 'AF2_KISP2.zip'.

Florida's First Coast Terrascene Project

File Description:
Do you think they'll let you into the Kings Bay Naval Base? Probably not. Take your boat back south and spend the night on the beach at Fort Clinch. Return the boat in the early afternoon watching out for Navy aircraft carriers coming and going through the inlet. Keep an even sharper eye out for fighter jets and patrol planes as Jax has Naval Air Stations all over the place! Zip down to St. Augustine and check out Castillo De San Marcos and the country's oldest school house. Hurry west to Gainesville to catch a UF college football game. If it ends early enough maybe check out the drag racing near the airport before flying north in the morning to explore a civil war battlefield. Spend a few hours in a raft floating down a 72 degree crystal clear spring before heading back to the real world.

United Airlines Boeing 777-222 Corrected Package

This is a corrected, full package, no update. In the package available before 06th June 2004 I included the wrong model file. If you already downloaded the package available before 06th June 2004 just take the model file of an PW powered Meljet 777-200 and copy it into the model folder of the United Airlines 777-222. Sorry for any inconvenience. The awesome second edition of the Meljet Boeing 777-200. This highly authentic rendition of the Boeing 777 has many exciting features including "Maintenance Mode", where you can open the engines and look inside, deploy the Ram Air Turbine, open the cockpit window, open the gear bay doors while on the ground - folding wings - flexing wings - full animations - dynamic shine - reflective surfaces - and a lot more! Van Halen Lear Jet 45

File Description:
This is a repaint of the default lear45 in fs2004 for the rock group Van Halen. Two different repaints are included which are the red white and black scheme and the early VH black and gold scheme. For a bit of history Eddie van Halen would take black and white tape and stick it on his guitars in criss crossing lines over a red strat guitar with a kramer neck which ended up as a symbol of the band,Probably got the idea with the tape using it to hold guitar picks as you throw them out to the girls. Now its all over a lear jet, I remember seeing one of their jets done like this for promotion. The new collective album featuring 3 new songs is jewel cased in the red,white,black desighn and is out now. - "Its amazing with what you can do with tape ain't it?"

Nigel Grant's Vancouver Int'l with X-Wind runways

File Description:
A high quality AFCAD2 for use only with FS2004 Vancouver Airport scenery version 4.1 by Nigel Grant. This file has been built with the aid of charts, and features real life runway lengths - runway 08L/26R is 9940ft, runway 08R/26L is 11500ft long. Assigned parking for all airlines and cargo carriers that serve the airport is included, including regional carriers that use the south terminal. An extensive GA area is now available at the airport. Also featured is the Air Canada maintenance area, overrun areas on the runways, overflow parking and many helipads. All aprons are represented as near to real as possible. Using the crosswind runway tecnique, non parallel runway 12/30 has been activated and can be used for take-offs and landings at the same time as both the main 08/26 runways. This AFCAD is not suitable for use with the default FS2004 airport. Enjoy!!

Quebec CYQB

File Description:
This is the second edition of CYQB Quebec Jean Lesage Int’l airport for FSX. Countless hours over a two years period have been devoted to develop this very accurate and truly remarkable scenery. Kiwi360 (KiwiFruit Country)- Custom buildings, helipad, Hi Res photoreal, Aerius R22 Repaint. Te Puke, New Zealand

File Description:
Kiwi360 (formally know as Kiwifruit Country) is a theme park based around the Kiwifruit (AK.A Chinese Gooseberry or Zespri- The trade name) which is a major export of New Zealand grown predominately in the Bay of Plenty Region. The park is situated about midway between Tauranga and Whakatane, about 5km east of the township of Te Puke. The Bay of Plentys sunny climate ensures good growing conditions for the delicious fruit and has also spawned a mini tourist industry of tours of the orchards and sorting/packing/coolstores. These include tourist flights by Aerius (http://www.aerius.co.nz ) using a Robinson R44 helicopter. This scenery was made after a visit when carrying out a GPS survey: I took a few photos and whacked it up. It isn't perfect but will be useful for flights in small helos (I.e. Robinson R22, R44 or Hughes 300/269). It includes the famous giant Kiwifruit slice, the helipad next to it; the main Kiwi 360 building; a large coolstore/packhouse and the backpackers next to the park. It also includes a lot of library objects (especially trees- If these are adversely affecting performance, you can disable this bgl) This is placed on a high resolution aerial photo provided by Environment Bay of Plenty. The scenery also has reflection maps and night maps for those who like getting up at the crack of dawn or simulating frost protection work (although I don't believe the pad is certified for night operations in real life). The download also includes a repaint of the default Robinson R22 in the colours of ZK-HJZ (in actual fact an R44) kindly provided by James Eden from the ARNZ Forums (see the readme for the .cfg entry to add this repaint) This helipad isn't in controlled airspace but Tauranga Tower is nearby and will need to be called before entering their airspace (above 2500ft LL for the CTA or within about 10nm of Tauranga for the CTZ) Radio procedures are carried out on Christchurch Information 125.5 for flight following/planning.

FSX SDK Toolbox

The FSX SDK ToolBox is a handy application for those of us who need to delve again and again into the SDK for Microsoft's new release of Flight Simulator X. It's basically an in-house tool used by TweakFS and we thought it would be nice to make it available to other FS developers as well as the general simming community.
