| TransStar Airlines McDonnell Douglas MD-82 |

File Description:
AI Aardvark MD-82 in the colours of TranStar Airlines to go with James Hamelers' flightplans (transtar_airlines_summer_1986.zip). TranStar was how Southwest rebranded rival Muse Air after purchasing the company and making it a wholly-owned subsidiary in 1985. Muse Air had become profitable just prior to the takeover by Southwest, but the re-launched TranStar never made it into the black. By 1987 Southwest had tired of the losses and after unsuccessfully attempting to find someone to sell TranStar off to, the company was closed down in October of the year.

She also has flexing wings which are amazing to see as you lift off, and esp. in heavy turbulance!!!! Also, the model includes interior wing views so you can view them as a passenger! Part two of the challenge. This a challenge for those pilots or groups that like the off beaten path. Flying into the middle of the jungle or landing at night on a airstrip field and you cant see in front of you. Trying to fly over a mountain peak that is higher than your ceiling level with a Trubo prop aircraft. Thats the kind of aircraft you will be using. Most of them are the default FS9 Beechcrafts King Air, Baron 58, Piper, Mooney, Extra 300S, and Cessna, and others you need to download.
