File Description:
LPAZ Santa Maria Airport, Azores, Portugal (Ca. 1962) Opened during the height of World War II to suppliment the nearby Lajes AB, this was an important fuel and technical stop in the 1940's through to the early 1960's for many airlines. Scenery created with generic, classic buildings therefore requires the CalClassic Scenery Objects Library V4 available at most major websites. Thanks to Tom Gibson and everyone at CalClassics for their support and information, without which this scenery would not have been possible. 1942 USAAF C-46A. This is a further modification of the mod by Terry Jones (ga_c46_tj.zip) of the original aircraft by Libardo Guzman, Tom Gibson and Greg Pepper (c46ga.zip). It features a new photo-based panel design, a new design Radio Range Gauge, AutoRich/AutoLean mixture controls, Controls to automatically raise (and prevent lowering) the flaps based on speed, Improved flight dynamics, Panel switches for the doors, Separate cabin and cockpit lights switches, and Fuel quantity gauges for the rear wing tanks. Included are the appropriate models and textures for a complete FS9 aircraft installation.

Frontier Airlines Convair 580 v2

File Description:
This is an update of the great plane by Greg Pepper. Props now display the pitch visually - you can feather the props by pressing and holding Crtl-F2 and watch them rotate. Flaps deploy as proper Fowler flaps (i.e. slide back), and the flap/nacelle joint has been corrected to 45 degree angle. Air stair handrails now deploy realistically. Props have smooth curved edge, corrected right wing misalignment, pointed the rear fuselage, smoothed rear fuselage, and added view blocks in air intakes, prop spinners, main gear wells, and under stairs. Scissors links are added to the gear, the gear retraction cycle has been altered to match video footage, the nose has been slightly reshaped, antennas have been added, glass has been added to the cockpit, and the airstairs plate reads correctly from the back as well as the front. Nosewheel now steers with the rudder. Added reflective textures, and it is lit at night, albeit subtly, and the virtual cockpit gauges are lit. Altered Greg's original textures to match photos I had. Corrected blue textures showing on bottom fuselage. Greg has added a smoothed wing root too! Original model, animation, panel & textures by Greg Pepper. Modifications by Tom Gibson.

Helicopter N975B 'Whirlybirds' TV show

File Description:
From the "Whirlybirds" television show that ran in the 1950's and '60's, helicopter N975B, or "75Bravo". This repaint of the Gmax Bell 47 G2 by Jean-Marie Mermaz was created for the loyal 25 million viewers that watched the weekly television series, and as a tribute to Kenneth Tobey (1917-2002) who played pilot Chuck Martin. Textures for the FS2002 Gmax skid model only!

Maine 1V2 Update

File Description:
An update to the original Maine1V2 scenery area that substantially upgrades KBHB (Bar Harbor) and changes the value of the viewing distance for all boats making for a more realistic distance at which they are visible. UsageLog

File Description:
UsageLog.zip contains a program called AircraftUsageLog.exe which will show your hours of usage for each powered aircraft in FS9 any time you run it. It lists the hours per aircraft in a window. You choose the order by clicking on a column header. The Update feature will also list hours flown since the last time the program was run. This download can be placed anywhere in your system. It creates the folder "AircraftUsageLog" that contains several files. All are required for proper operation. You must edit the .ini file to list the paths to your two Aircraft folders as described in the instructions.
