Cork Airport File 1.0

File Description:
This is the first file of a few files I will be releasing for Cork Airport Ireland {EICK} in FS2002. This is just a small, basic Afcad file to correct the parking at Cork airport. This Afcad file will make all the aircraft at Cork airport {including your aircraft}, park sideways against the building as in real life at Cork airport, instead of parking facing the building. All the starting points will also change to a sideways heading of 166. This will also change the gate numbers and will stop the atc using the term 'parking' all the time. It will change gate 1 to medium, gate 2 to heavy, gate 3 to small, gate 4 to medium {cargo}, parking 5 to ramp GA small, parking 6 to ramp GA small, and parking 7 to ramp GA small. All runways {17/35,07/25}, taxiways, traffic, and atc have been left alone. Parking and buildings are a mess at Cork airport in FS2002, therefore, the file is not perfect. I plan to release further traffic and scenery files for Cork airport in the future. This file requires AFCAD by Lee Swordy. Details of where to get it within download. The progressive taxi instructions will also not change, neither will the pink line on the taxiways. The pink line will not turn sideways at the gates, but you must turn and park sideways at a heading of around 166 to park properly.

Norfolk International Airport (KORF)

File Description:
Again, another instance of an airport I don't really fly into much but I decided to and yet again the default MS afcad is for lack of a better word, "nasty". This is an accuarate an AFCAD for Norfolk as it's gonna get folks. I've managed to include all terminal gates with accurate numbering and airline assignments as per the Norfolk airport website. Cargo areas and general aviation parking are also provided. This should definetely improve your experience in and out of the Norfolk Int'l Airport. As a note to users so that you do not think it was an error on my part, MS in their infinite grace decided to put the terminal almost on top of each other leaving a tiny space in between with which to park, let alone taxi. You may notice that when AI pushback they may pushback onto the aircraft behind them at times, there is, unfortunately nothing I can do about this short of removing all those gates and then you'd lose 50% of the actual gates in the airport...If someone at a future date makes some good ORF scenery, I'll update the AFCAD accordingly. Having said that, this is 10 times better then what the default MS afcad provides. Note: Independance Air is now using gate B18. The current AFCAD does not have a designator for that airline. Any of you flying Independance or using them with AI they park at that gate.

La Guardia

File Description:
A high quality AFCAD2 file the New York La Guardia (KLGA) scenery by Shehryar Ansari. This file features assigned gates for all airlines that currently serve LGA. In order to ensure only 'mainline' aircraft use the jetbridges, a new 'Express' apron for Dash 8 and RJ size aircraft is provided near the Central Terminal and also adjacent to the US Air and Delta Terminals. An extensive GA parking area has also been added to the west side of the airport and includes 4 Helipads. A tower view is provided for the airport and both runways are also in use to maximize traffic flow. The Marine Terminal (Delta Shuttle) and US Airways (Shuttle) areas now have seperate parking codes. The txt for these codes is included in this zip, to add to your 'ParkingSpecs' document. Every available space at this airport has been used to provide a total of 140 parking positions, comprising 42 gates for regional jets, 59 gates for mainline aircraft, 4 Cargo Ramps and 35 GA ramps. A very easy to use tutorial explaining how to make AI Delta Shuttle aircraft use only the Marine Terminal and US Air Shuttle aircraft only use the US Shuttle Terminal is included. This package also includes screenshots showing the effects that this file has on your AI traffic. Requires the excellent scenery addon LGA2004.zip by Shehryar Ansari. This file is not recommended to be used with the default FS airport.

Commercial flights should begin in 2006 after 15 months of testing. During much of ist development, the aircraft was known as the Airbus A3XX. The A380 is now the largest passenger airliner, topping the Boeing 747, which was the largest for 35 years. However, the Antonov An-225 retains the record of being the world's largest commercial aircraft. The media has termed the A380 a "superjumbo", with some comparing it to Howard Hughes's Spruce Goose. The first A380 prototype was unveiled during a ceremony in Toulouse, France, on January 18, 2005. Its manufacturer's serial number is 001, and is registered as F-WWOW. The new Airbus will initially be sold in two versions: the A380-800, carrying 555 passengers in a three-class configuration or up to 800 passengers in a single-class economy configuration. Expected range for the -800 model is 8,000 nautical miles (14,800 km). The second model, the A380-800F dedicated freighter, will carry 150 tons of cargo 5,600 miles (10,400 km). Airbus made the cockpit layout, procedures and handling characteristics similar to those of other Airbus aircraft to reduce crew training costs. File Description:
Project Opensky 747-200 V4, With reflective textures. Model Features include fully animated control surfaces, fully independent suspension, main gear steering, trim animation, opening passenger doors, opening cargo doors, dynamic flexing wings, animated tilting bogies, rolling wheels, animated thrust reversers, fully reflective textures ( each part has different degree of reflection based on material ), accurate flight dynamics ( accurate FDE with full profiles for wheels, tires, struts, leading/trialing struts, engine types ... Tested by real pilots.), newly re-defined individual part damage profiles, accurate spoiler animation, detailed textures, full night lighting, visible landing lights from the cockpit, reflective cockpit windows, crash effects, transparent nav light lenses, newly re-defined individual part damage profiles. This colour scheme was used at the time following the merger with BEA until 1984 when the colour scheme was changed again for the privatisation of British Airways. This paint is my third version and uses many new techniques for the engines and the horizon shine. The model contained is the most recent update SP3A which includes a brand new tow truck as well as animations and the catering and stair vehicles which can be controlled pressing 'Shift'+'8' to bring up the V4adv panel. The FDE is also the most recent update for the Rolls Royce model. Better preview screenshots are available in the zipdrive, Happy landings.

GABS Bamako Senou International Airport

File Description:
Bamako Senou International Airport (IATA: BKO, ICAO: GABS) is Malis main airport approximately 15 km south of downtown Bamako, the capital of Mali in West Africa. It is managed by Aeroports du Mali (ADM). Its operations are overseen by the Malian Ministry of Equipment and Transports. Senou Airport was opened to traffic in 1974. The airport was upgraded between 2007 and 2012 in a 181 million US dollar project funded by the Millennium Challenge Corporation, a United States foreign aid agency. Passenger traffic steadily increased in the early 2000s. Government figures show 403,380 passengers in 1999, 423,506 in 2003, 486,526 in 2004, and 516,000 in 2005. It is predicted to reach over 900,000 by 2015 under a low (4%) yearly growth rate scenario. To date this growth rate has been surpassed. Total air traffic at BKO increased by 12.4% in 2007 and 14% in 2008. Most of this increase came in passenger transport, with the number of passengers served increasing by 20% in 2007 and 17% in 2008. Twenty-seven airline carriers operated weekly or better at BKO in the 2007-2008 period. This continued growth was offset by cargo flights decline of 16.75% in 2007, and 3.93% in 2008. The highest frequency route is on the Bamako-Dakar sector with 29 weekly non-stop connections. Domestic flights also serve Mali's regional capitals Kayes, Mopti, Timbuktu, Sikasso, Gao, and Kidal. PMDG C-40A clipper US NAVY

File Description:
You must own the PMDG B737-600/700 aircraft for these textures to work. These textures are for use with PMDG B737-700 with airstairs no winglets to be used in fs9, textures where saved in 32bit with alpha channels aplied. The textures in this file represent the real US NAVY C-40A clipper,of VR58/VR59 squadrons,which is based on the B737-700, but with strengthened wings and u/c from the B737-800. the PMDG B737-700 aircraft paintkit,as been reworked,in order to get this repaint scheme done,from photos on airliners net, as a guide,the mods are extra panel lines on the 4 main doors,to represent the hinged top and bottom sections, forward sevice door as been repositioned,so it is in line with the internal door,and the panel lines for the main port forward cargo door added,windows and blank window frames,altered to represent those on the C-40A clipper. Night textures and alpha channels modied to the same. the aircraft represented are JV829/832/834 of VR-58 squadron (sunseekers) and RY830/831/832/833 of VR-59 squadron (lonestar express). There is a bit of confusion,over aircraft reg and nose names,because the aircraft where swapped squadrons,832 is one example. i have included read me and instruction files,and jpegs to give help on getting these to work. textures by alan cottrill.

VAGO Goa/Dabolim Navy, India

File Description:
Googly scenery for Dabolim Navy Airport, Goa - a busy Indian military airport also used for civilian flights which is poorly provided for in Flight Simulator 2004. These scenery files add taxiways, aprons, buildings and other airport features, so that you and your "AI" traffic can land, taxi, park and take off in a realistic manner. Today Goa is a popular tourist destination, but it does not have its own civilian airport. Instead the ever-increasing number of charter flights use the Indian Navy's airport. But they may only land when the Navy's novice pilots are not pretending the runway is a 11,000 foot aircraft carrier deck so civilian flights have to be packed into short periods (before 9 am and 1 pm to 6 pm) and this leads to the small terminal ramp being literally packed with aircraft at times. All kinds of jets from around the world up to Boeing 747s call here, flown by European and Asian operators like Air Deccan, Air India, Air Sahara, Arkefly, Condor Thomas Cook, Go Air, Indian Airlines, Jet Airways, Kingfisher Airlines, Monarch Airlines, Spicejet, SriLankan Airlines, Thomsonfly, Tiger Airways, Transaero and XL Airways along with ATR turboprops on shorter flights with Air Deccan. The Indian Coast Guard has a base here for its aircraft, and the Indian Air Force carry out exercises from time to time with their fighter bombers. The Navy's three-aircraft aerobatic team is also based here. To cope with the increasing traffic, the airport is currently under development and enlargement but details of this are not currently available so this scenery has been created showing the existing arrangements. This, combined with the limitations of Flight Simulator and its parking and taxying arrangements, means that it isn't possible to realistically pack the aircraft all in at busy times. Any overflow of traffic will find itself diverted to the Navy's parking area or even the aircraft museum. However, my observations are that many of the schedules prepared for Flight Simulator do not recognise the limited landing times and the traffic is spread fairly evenly throughout the day, so such overflows should be infrequent. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high-detail satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look like the real thing. You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without.

Alaska Airlines "Honoring Those Who Serve" Boeing 737-800 and 737-900ER

File Description: The Honoring Those Who Serve plane is dedicated to the brave men and women of the US military, as well as veterans of the armed forces and their families. Its unique exterior paint scheme, conceived by a small group of Alaska maintenance technicians, was designed to symbolize remembrance, pride, and appreciation. The design includes a red stripe and blue aircraft body to incorporate elements of the American flag; the phrase "Honoring Those Who Serve," displayed on the fuselage; a symbolic crest representing the Alaska Airlines Fallen Soldier Program to the right of the cargo door; and an "Alaska Airlines Salutes" medallion on the right of the boarding door near the nose of the aircraft, with five stars representing the five branches of the U.S. Armed Forces: Air Force, Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard. The special livery was created in partnership with Boeing and is featured on two aircraft; N570AS, a 737-800, and sister ship N265AK, a 737-900. Model developed by Tenkuu Developers Studio, features high resolution textures, dynamic flexing wings, nose gear steering, rudder lock, ground spoilers, low speed aileron locks at high speed, fully animated control surfaces, fully independent suspension, trim animation, opening passenger doors, rolling wheels, animated thrust reversers with reverser block doors, detailed textures, full night lighting, ground service vehicles and more.
