| Aeropuertos de Isla San Andrés y de Isla Providencia (SKSP & SKPV), Colombia. |
|
File Description:
The delivery includes TWO airports: 1- Gustavo Rojas Pinilla (SKSP) on San Andrés Island, 2- El Embrujo (SKPV) on Providencia Island; both belonging to Colombia (Caribbean Area).
The delivery includes conditioning of the runways and taxiing of the airport facilities using original objects from the FSX Acceleration Pack.
The height of the terrain of the islands was also conditioned, and various objects that force you to take a low-altitude plane or helicopter ride for observation and discovery.
In Providencia you can try a landing approaching by the sea very close to the tropical forest (includes app positions to use gps in flight planner); In the same way, dare to take off on Route 35 without running into the treetops, trusting in your ability.
In San Andrés there will be many tourists on the runway headwaters taking photos of your aircraft arriving or departing from the airport !! They are waiting for you!

| Grumman Goose Flight Dynamics v1.0.1 |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Version 1.0.1. Re-uploaded with revision. New flight dynamics for the FSX default and OZx Grumman Goose, incorporating multiple changes and improvements. Included are a new air file (FDE), a new aircraft.cfg file, and a fix for the fuel gauge. This package is intended to improve the "feel" and to simulate a more realistic operation and handling of the aircraft. In addition to improving how the FSX Goose flies, extensive work has gone into how the engines and propellers are simulated. Please read the readme and changelog files included in this package for details and important information. REVISION: Some users have reported that after installation of version 1.0, the Grumman Goose fails to initialize when FSX is started. This revision includes an installation note in the readme that addresses the issue. Please read the IMPORTANT NOTE in the INSTALLATION section of the GD README for details. If you previously installed v1.0 and the aircraft loaded successfully, then you do not need this revision.

File Description:
This is an updated version of this scenery to correct texturing errors. My thanks to the the good folks on the MAIW forums for catching and correcting this error. Situated in the San Francisco Bay Area and known as the "Gateway to the Pacific", Travis Air Force Base handles more cargo and passenger traffic through its airport than any other military air terminal in the United States. Originally laid out as a SAC base for long range bombers, the original hangar line and facilities for B-36 and B-52 aircraft have been largely rebuilt over the years to accommodate the current cargo operations of the 60th Air Mobility Wing (host at Travis). The 60th supports and deploys both the C-5 Galaxy and C-17 Globemaster as well as its own refueling squadrons of KC-10 Tankers. In addition, the base's former SAC alert facility now supports 2 transient Navy E-6B Mercury TACAMO aircraft detached from Tinker AFB, Oklahoma.

| Clyde River CYCY & Cape Christian in Nunavut Canada |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Clyde River is a village on the northeast coast of Baffin Island, 250 miles above the Arctic Circle and around 150 miles north of Cape Hooper. It is on the shore of Patricia Bay at the entrance to Cylde Inlet, a fjord which stretches over 60 miles inland. The population is around 880 folks, and it was named by the explorer John Ross in 1818. The airfield is just east of the village and the lighted runway is 3,501' of 100' wide gravel at 87' ASL, aligned 018 True 198 True; "True" as opposed to magnetic in the Northern Domestic Airspace. There are two aprons, one with the new terminal building and one with the old terminal and the garage. Five miles northeast of Clyde River is Cape Christian, where there is a gravel runway around 3,000' long and adjacent to the beach, built to serve what was started as a weather station and later became a LORAN navigation system station. The station is still there, though it was closed some time ago and is now the subject of decontamination work. The runway is usable, though only for light planes as it is a bit rough. First Air and Canadian North are the AI planes visting Clyde River.

| Sembach Air Base 1990 |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This scenery is a representation of Sembach Air Base in the former West Germany during 1990. At the time, Sembach was host to the 66th Electronic Combat Wing, which was responsible for the home-based EC-130H "Compass Call" aircraft of the 43rd Electronic Combat Squadron, and also had in-direct control of the 42nd Electronic Combat Squadron based at RAF Upper Heyford in the U.K. flying the Grumman EF-111A Raven.
The 66th ECW moved into Sembach during 1986, and spent the next six years flying from there. The role of the aircraft was electronic disruption of enemy radio and radar transmissions, to limit the enemies ability to co-ordinate their own forces and also the transmission of propaganda in an attempt to win hearts and minds.
Sembach was also known as Det.1 of the 81st Tactical Fighter Wing, based at the Twin Bases complex of RAF Woodbridge and RAF Bentwaters. The A-10A's of the six squadrons there would regularly deploy to Sembach and other Forward Operating Locations (FOLs) within West Germany, which was a part of their war-time role.
Included in this package are repaints of all six EC-130H's present at Sembach as of April 1990.

Images related to this file:
File Description:
This archive only contains textures for the Carenado 172II V2 aircraft. In order for it to work, you need to own this specific aircraft. Since these are only textures, no further support is necessary, just follow the instructions below. If for some reason you don't like these textures, just delete the folder G-BEUX.
Installation
*** IMPORTANT***
I have included a .obj file that Dan Klaue provided to fix a small problem causing wing registrations to display incorrectly. The filename is TransparentStickers.obj. You must copy this file to the aircraft's main objects folder of the Carenado C172II v2 main folder. You will be asked if you want to replace the existing file, say yes. Make a backup of the original first.
then...
Open the zip file and move the whole folder G-BEUX to X-Plane 10 (where you installed X-Plane)--->Aircraft-->Carenado Cessna 172 v2 (where you installed the Carenado package)--->liveries. That's it!
File information
The textures herein are made from the Carenado blanks. I have made every attempt to faithfully reproduce G-BEUX to the best of my abilities. Limitations in the blank paint kit make it impossible to mirror correctly some of the details on the right fuselage, as only the left fuse is included.

| CYQU - Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Grande Prairie is at 2,195 feet asl, 65 miles southeast of Dawsons Creek, 90 miles southwest of Peace River and around 60 miles east of the Rockies. The town has a population of 55,000 and growing. The airport is just to the west of the town and was originally a military base, built during WW2. The two runways are 07-25 and 11-29 and when one is the active runway then the other is used as a taxiway. AI in FS9 doesn't like this, and just stops at the first hold short without ever reaching the active runway. I have found a way to overcome this and AI will now use taxiway A and whichever runway is inactive to feed to and from both ends of the active runway. The vertical red tanks are for de-icing fluid; de-icing is carried out before take-off in the winter. The industrial area to the southeast is now larger than I have made it, but I kept it to this minimum size to keep frame rates down. All the buildings are modeled specifically for CYQU. The AI includes Westjet, Air Canada Jazz, and others as listed. The GA AI uses only FS9 standard aircraft.

| Fouga CM-170 Magister |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Fouga CM-170 Magister. The little Fouga Magister was one of the main primary jet trainer aircraft in Europe in the late 1950s through the 1980s. Over 1,000 were produced, mostly for European countries, but the aircraft were also heavily exported to Africa, Asia, and Central/South America. The Magister saw extensive combat service as a close support aircraft, and is credited with at least one aerial victory (over a DC-3). An 8-LOD model brings this small-but-mighty workhorse to the AI traffic world. This package is the CM-170 in both armed and unarmed variants; with eight models and 60 repaints covering 19 of the 24 known users. Some missing countries simply do not have either serial information or photographs; or in the case of Biafra, the aircraft were destroyed on the ground in combat before they were put in service. The Magister was used for several aerial demonstration teams, but this package concentrates on the operational use of the aircraft; and to that end I include a layered Photoshop template for the truly mad and talented out there (you know who you are). Aircraft, flight dynamics, and all painting by Michael Pearson. Please read the documentation contained in the file.

| Updates for Rockcliffe CYRO in Ottawa Canada |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Flight Ontario posted their scenery for CYRO in 2008. I originally learned to fly at Rockcliffe Flying Club and came up with some additions and modifications in 2009, and now with the passage of time there are more changes. This version replaces the previous updates and is a self-contained version.
A mini tornado in 2009 destroyed the old willow tree and almost put paid to the clubhouse too (though all the buildings are still standing right now) so there is a new (temporary) clubhouse, a new hangar, the willow tree is gone, the car park is enlarged and is now asphalt, the fence line is revised and the entrance gate relocated. The previous modifications included the refueling point near the RFC buildings, revised apron shape, gravel car park, parked cars, extended perimeter fence, deck in front of the RFC clubhouse, more parked planes, the large and old willow tree, and the float dock in the river. Note in the winter picture the Ottawa River is frozen, as it is right now in reality, and you can download my "Frozen Lakes etc" post and turn your own Canadian winter into reality; I have been surprised by how few people are interested in winter flying in FS9.
