The ultimate gauge. The Map will show: Airports details (Runways ID's, length & ILS), VOR's and NDB's frequencies,
Intersections and waypoints, Airspaces, Approaches and flight routes. You can toggle the view
you require for your flight. Also you can zoom in/out to see the nearest airports, vor's and
ndb's. The map will indicate A/C heading flightplan title and waypoints ID's.
Version 2 includes more enhancements such as the ability to input the ICAO code of any airport and the map will show all the frequencies of that airport including ATIS, ILS, AND COM. In addition, the map will show the active runway designations, length and width.

File Description:
Freeware modified default Kingair Radio gauge.
This is the gauge file which contains the six separate Nav 1, 2; Comm 1, 2; Transponder; and ADF radios, as well as the metallic toggle switches. All except the ADF have transparent bitmaps, so that only the numerical frequency display is visible. The separate numerical displays can be placed in any customized radio image with any typical panel-maker program. The black, or grey, rectangular base of the toggle switches have also been made transparent, so that the metallic ring at the base of the switch blends better with a panel background. It should also work in FS2002. This gauge is Freeware.

This livery represents a fictional "What if" repaint of the magnificent payware Grumman F9F-5 Panther by VertigoStudios in a Royal Navy Livery.
The aircraft resembles what it would look like if the United Kingdom government chose the Grumman F9F Panther over, or together with the
Hawker Seahawk as their primary naval (carrier based) attack fighter in the late 50-ies. This particular aircraft is in the colors of the
HMS Ark Royal (R09) aircraft carrier based 898 Sqn, 1957. The real unit operated Hawker Sea Hawk FGA6's from the same carrier.
You need the payware Vertigo Studios F9F in order to use this repaint.

This is a little GUI a wrote for compiling .X files into MDL files.
For those of the community who have made use of Prepar3D's v2.2 SDK, there are compatibility issues with the MDL's created for Prepar3D and FSX.
The Prepar3D v1.4 SDK XtoMDL compiler correctly writes the MDL files which work in FSX.
To use this program, you need to point the GUI to the location of the v1.4 SDK XtoMDL.EXE file and your .X file for your model. You can select the switches which you would normally enter on the command line, from the GUI and it will compile the .MDL with them.

The B-2A Stealth Bomber is the most sophisticated aircraft on the planet. She is essentially a “Flying Wing†platform with no V-Tail, and is controlled by pre-programed flight computers stationed in various positions within the crew cabin and wings. There is one main computer that controls the aircraft, with two redundant back-up computers assigned to it in case of failure. All additional computers are assigned to functions involving flight control, system monitoring, data communications, and radar. Engine and Aerodynamic effects are controlled by these computers which serve several actuators and ailerons, including the spoilerons, which further compensate for the lack of a V-Tail. In theory, and because of these computers, the aircraft is “Stall-Proofâ€. The only way it can stall is if the computers fail. There is no way she can be flown without the computers active. The REAL aircraft does almost everything based on pre-programed data, other than taxi to the runway (although this is also possible to program). Before each flight, the Mission is designed and then assigned to the Mission Flight Box (Portable Computer) which is then carried by the Commander to the aircraft, and the data from the box is “transferred†to the main on-board computers. Because of this, the B-2 cannot be flown until the box is ready for the mission, and pilots cannot simply jump in and fly her, with the exception that the data is transferred via satellite. Everything is pre-planned, and this takes several hours. Once the data is on-board, the taxi can begin. When lined-up on the runway, all the pilot needs to do is push a button or three. Everything else is computer controlled until landing. The aircraft CAN be flown manually with basic data inputs into the main computer systems, but even in that case it is not conventional. If a pilot wants to turn right, he sets the data to turn to a certain degrees of heading. The same with climb and descent, speed increase or decrease. A pilot cannot over-ride the computers in any case, so steep banks, climbs, or descents cannot be forced. There is a lot of space for the two member crew within the cockpit, but there is also a space reserved for one observer. This additional seat is known as “Suicide Position†because there is no ejection seat for that observer. In the event of a mishap, the observer can try to bail-out through the ejection hatches after the pilots, or can try the exit ramp door, or the bomb bay as an exit route. The odds of escape for the observer are very small, but he has a parachute as reassurance. Otherwise, what the crew does during missions is only a guess, since they really don't have to do anything unless an alarm goes off. Since the plane flies so smooth, we can only imagine what sort of things they may dream-up to entertain themselves during a long flight. High altitude flights are conducted at night mainly due to the obvious contrail such a flight will exhibit during the day with such hot engines. The engines are encased in a heat absorbing shield material (still exhaust exists), and the rest of the plane is coated with Radar absorbant material, with the additional low profile effect of the aircraft design itself. If it can be seen by the ground or a fighter, it can be attacked by fighters or the ground. During daytime flight they will stay below the contrail level, and monitor the radar systems in preparations for counter-measures. If a fighter can visually observe them, the fighter may be able to shoot them down with bullets from behind, but not likely with missiles because of the sophisticated counter-measures available. On Radar the aircraft appears the size of a pigeon, until about 8 to 10 miles away, which would be too late to counter from the ground, so most attacks are either done at night or during the day at very low altitude. Upon landing the aircraft is automated down to about 200 feet AGL, when the pilot takes command. All she/he does at this point is allow her to glide down and contact the runway, and retard the engines. Brakes are used to slow, then the computers are turned off, and the pilot can control the throttles, nose gear, and brakes. The Commander watches for obstructions, mainly, and communicates with the tower and ground crew. Everything in this model has been reconfigured to meet realistic standards, without any tricks or flight tuning, and following real world aerodynamic principals and available data, including MOI. The panel requires study before use, but very realistic. The sounds are very authentic. There is no other model offered anywhere that compares to what you have now available in front of you. This package includes all the Hellenic Spitfires expect the Spitfire pr Mk.XI witch appeared in one unit and pr Mk.XIII in three units. You can fly the spitfire mk.Vb/c, Spitfire mk.IXe LF/HF and Spitfire Mk.XVIe LF. Greece in 9/23/1938 ordered 12 Spitfires and 12 Anson. During the June of 1939 it was signed the order of 24 Spitfires which cost 9335 pounds each. When Hitler attacked to Poland, England used all the aircrafts that were under construction and of course the Greek were some of them. On 10/12/1943, the 336th Olympus Squadron received the first Spitfire and followed the 335th Tiger Squadron. The Spitfire mk.Vb/c replaced the Hurricane mk.IIb/c. This is the final version, complete in itself and incorporating the two modifications posted separately. King Salmon is a town with a population of just under 400, on the north bank of the Naknek River and 15 miles from the sea. The airport is adjacent to the town and was originally an airforce base; the military hangars on the airport are still usable. The airport, with its long runway (11-29 and 8,500 feet with an ILS, and a second runway 18-36 and 4,000 feet) is a transportation hub for the area in general and in particular for the salmon industry. Along the Naknek River there are numerous canneries and there are also fishing lodges on the river and nearby lakes; to speed up transportation to the lodges there are float bases on the river to the south of the airport. King Salmon has three tiers of scheduled flights: Alaska Air direct from Anchorage in a 737 (passengers and cargo), PenAir (Saab turboprop) as part of their flights up and down the peninsula, and Grant Air serving nearby small towns. There are also PenAir flights, both scheduled and unscheduled, in smaller aircraft (Piper Navajo for instance) to smaller airports for the fishing season, plus cargo flights in larger aircraft by the lowest bidder (Everts and Northern). To complete the mix the AI includes a pair of F15s. The runways cross (see the airport diagram) so read the notes re long taxi routes. There is AI for PAKN, plus revised AI made for Dutch Harbor which includes flights by PenAir to King Salmon, plus revised parking for Dutch Harbor with new replacement bgls to cater for more flights. There is also AI for the float bases on the river; I have made two runways separated into two float bases for river AI, called King Salmon Floats and King Salmon River; more AI for these will be added when other scenery along the river is made. Just land according to the wind and taxi to whatever dock takes your fancy.

Pemberton is a small village in the Coast Mountains of British Columbia, with a permanent population of under 3,000 and reliant on logging and increasing tourism. It is around 40 miles north of Squamish and 15 miles north of Whistler and the flight north is best described as scenic. The Nairn Falls, a scenic attraction for tourists, are close by. The runway is 3,920 feet of asphalt aligned 06-24, between and close to the join of the Lillooet River and the Green River. The airfield buildings are to the north of the runway, and at the eastern end is a Fire Base for the expected summer forest fires. To the south and west is the Pemberton Golf Course. All the buildings are replicated, and once again this is not an airport, it is an airfield without any lighting and typical of my future posts which are updated versions of airfield scenery made some time ago and not posted. This one is probably more intricate than most that will follow. The lack of lighting is actually very sensible as landing in the mountains in the dark..... Gun Lake is included here, but not for regular use as it is a deserted dirt strip 40 miles to the north that was once used for fire fighting and there is nothing to see. Just a part of the scenery in this area of BC. If you want to follow this trip on Google Earth the next stop is Cache Creek. If you find a defect, email me. Do not email me about the strange doors to the front of the Blackcomb hangar. I was surprised when I saw it and then discovered that the "doors" are actually flexible curtains that are rolled up and down and if rolled down too far...
I have the ok to use the Bell 212 CCG helicopter as a scenery object, but not to post the entire object library of the Red Deer CYQF scenery; if you have the scenery it should show up here.

The Project Opensky Boeing 747100V4 Native Conversion for FSX/P3D is the first of the initial release of the POSKY 747V4 Classic Series, and it is a new conversion of the old top-hit freeware add-on aircraft series that is known to the Flight Simulation Community since FS2002, FS2004, and onwards to FSX and has been loved by thousands of Flight-simmers across the world because of its simple-but-great model, and completely free of charge.
But with newer flight simulators on the line under the ESP Flight Simulator Type such as Lockheed Martin Prepar3DV4 and V5,
the Project Opensky Boeing 747V4 Classic Series (which was only made for FS9) were slowly falling behind and couldn’t keep up
with the current flight simulators today.
And now, for the first time in 2020; this conversion has surfaced to the public and in the eyes of the flight simulation community. Destined to fly in the current flight simulators of today like FSX, FSX: Steam Edition, Prepar3D V1 to V4 and Prepar3D V5, this classic freeware had continued to live on into the new era, bringing nostalgia not only just to those who flown it before in FS2004, but also for a new generation who can relive classic scenes of the Jumbo Jet’s illustrious history through this iconic freeware add-on aircraft series in today’s flight simulator platforms. And the permission to convert the models was acquired from the developer who was the mind of the POSKY 747V4 Classic Series: Hiroshi Igami. And he gave our conversion team the green light to do so. Leading to this conversion to surface in the public for the first time.

Canadian Airlines never flew the A380, as by the time the company was absorbed by Air Canada in 1999, the aircraft did not exist. The largest aircraft flown by Canadian Airlines was the Boeing 747-427. However, in our new universe, Canadian Airlines has taken delivery of one single Airbus A380, available to fly any route of your choice. It flies under the registration C-CSPN and the tail number 383.
*Livery Info*
Upon its founding in 1987, Canadian Airlines revealed its new livery using the colours light grey, dark grey, navy blue, and red. The paint scheme was an adaptation of the recently introduced livery from its predecessor Canadian Pacific Airlines. The lower half of the aircraft's body was navy blue, topped with light grey and red stripes, while the tail was blue, with approximately one-third taken up by the carrier's new logo. The new Canadian Airlines logo was a combination of Canadian Pacific's five grey stripes, representing the five continents served by the carrier. Over these stripes was a thick, bright red chevron. The chevron was a simplification of the Pacific Western Airlines logo. The chevron was placed over the stripes, which then represented "Wings over 5 continents". It was also an ingenious and subtle way to represent the takeover of CP by PWA. The same logo, in a square form, became a clever alternative to a true bilingual name on the fuselage replacing the French "e", and the third "a" in English (Canadian/Canadien).
