File Description:
Helmericks is on the northern coast of Alaska, 150 miles east of Barrow and 50 miles west of Prudhoe Bay. It is on the shore of Colville Island in the delta of the Colville River, and hasn't changed much from when Harmon Helmericks set up house there in the late 1950's. He lived there with his wife and two sons guiding hunting trips and running a fishing operation, and then in 1966 he was involved in the first north slope exploratory oil well drilling operation by Sinclair Oil, which was to lead to the opening up of the north slope in the 1970's. Read "The last of the Bush Pilots" if you want to know more about it. The dirt runway is around 2,400 feet long (long enough for the Wien DC3 to get in with supplies) and the house is still there along with storage sheds. To the southwest are the other houses (three of them) which make up the rest of Colville Village. If you want to have the frozen lakes and river and sea then look for my recent post which will freeze them until you get bored and want to put your floats back on.

File Description:
My previous addon "Luc-Aix-Fire.zip" was a single forestfire, active at all times, 24/24 h. I decided to bring in some more fun, and give it some changes: 2 different fire locations, with different firing times in the day. More accurate forestfire effect, smoke reacting with the wind, spray effect on scooping, and waterdrop effect completely reworked. Some sailboats and pleasure boats added on the lakes, making landing/take off manoeuvres more...challenging. Readme.txt in English and French.

This is part of our 2nd round of EditVoicepack files (see aig_tower_release_2.zip). Our goal is to provide accurate ATC calls in order to provide Microsoft Flight Simulator traffic with quality ATC. These sounds are the best that we have been able to compile and are accurate as of release date and to the extent that our data and the limitations of the EditVoicepack allow. This works for both FS9 and FSX.
Texture quality; FSX Native:DDS DXT5 with alpha 2048x2048. FS9 Native:BMP DXT3 with alpha 1024x1024.
This is a small update due to a positioning error on the right fuselage. Copy and replace existing textures with the one provided. You need the original files' aircraft config to work for this, if you dont have it already.
Do make sure you copy the texture folder in the respective folders.

File Description:
Classic Ship files for the English Channel east of Southampton and Cherbourg and the coast of eastern England as far north as Newcastle. This download for FS9 contains Classic Ship files for use with the Classic Scenery available from Tom Gibson's California Classics website: http://www.calclassic.com
You will need to have installed the truly excellent Classic Ships Library created by Mike Stevens, which is part of Wolfgang Gersch's Classic Scenery Libraries; this is available here and there is a link to it on the California Classics scenery page. The technique used to place the ships and their wakes is described in David 'Opa' Marshall's 'Add Animated Wakes to Static Ships - An Illustrated Tutorial', which is also available here, and which inspired the present download.
