This Guidelines document complements Flight1's Citation Mustang Pilot's Guide in two ways: (1) Explains how principal automated flight and navigation controls work in conjunction with one-another; and (2) Describes when a particular pilot procedure should be used--what is 'good practice'? This guide provides an overall orientation to Garmin's G1000 panel, including associated AFCS (autopilot) and MFD Controller (FMS) functions. Note: These guidelines are intended to be used in conjunction with Kurt Kalbfleisch's Mustang Tutorial also available in the Avsim Library.

Repaint of the wonderful Spartan 7W Executive for FS2004/FS9 by Milton Shupe, Scott Thomas and Urs Burkhardt. You must have this aircraft to use. This file contains exterior textures and a VC repaint of a very rusted and neglected aircraft using mostly photographic textures. There's nothing executive about this bird anymore as it looks more like it's been stuck in a field for years. Please note, I don't fly using a the 2D view myself so only the exterior and virtual cockpit has been changed.

File Description:
Marine One at The White House. This small scenery package places the Marine One Helicopter at The White House and optionally at Andrews Air Force Base - waiting to transport the President. Setups are included for the default FS2004 scenery and for those using the MAIW enhancement of Andrews AFB. All files are included. Helicopter model by D.Hardcastle with textures by Christopher Baird and Dallas Mullen.
The Marine One Helicopter is an "almost static" display. See instructions for further details regarding this procedure. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the installation instructions. Compiled for your flying enjoyment by David "Opa" Marshall.

| Douglas VC-118-DO 'The Independence' |

File Description:
This Douglas VC-118-DO was the personal aircraft of President Harry S. Truman. It was named 'The Independence' after President Truman's home town in Missouri. The aircraft was delivered on 1 July 1947 and served from 4 July 1947 on as a presidential aircraft till 1953 when Gen. Dwight Eisenhower became President of the USA. It seems that the rather special paint job was based on an idea by President Truman himself. 46-0505 served on as a general VIP transport till 1966 when it was donated to the Smithonian Institute for preservation. It is on loan to the Air Force Museum at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.'The Independence' could accommodate for 24 day or 12 sleeper passengers (in the main cabin). It had a luxurious State Room aft of the passenger door. Usually there was a crew of eight. It is featured here in its original tan, blue and metal livery. You will require Jens B. Kristensen's great FSX Douglas DC-6 (early version) (dc6_v20x.zip). Original textures by Jens B. Kristensen. Repaint by Maarten Brouwer.

This is part of the seventh round of airports issued by Alpha India Group. AIG Ground aims to create high quality Afcads for both FS2004 and for FSX default and Add On Scenery airports. Our airports are created drawing on the best available resources and aim to simulate the real world airport as closely as possible but also to ensure good levels of traffic with realistic parking and good flow of traffic around the airport.
Please read and follow installation instructions in the Readme file carefully, as these do vary.

EPGO Goraszka 2010 - The Airshow Challenge is a freeware, extremely detailed scenery of a general aviation airport located 12nm (20km) south-east of Warsaw downtown and Warsaw Frederic Chopin International Airport, Poland. EPGO Goraszka airfield was built in 1994 and currently belongs to General Aviation company, which offers aero-taxi flights, air transport and special flights (air photo, patrol) and airport services. The airport has a 800m-long runway and a lightened helipad, which can be used by helicopters up to 5700kg weight. General Aviation's fleet includes Antonov AN-2, PZL-104 Wilga 80, Bell 407 and 427. Since 1996 the International Air Picnic Goraszka is organized every year by "Polish Eagles" Foundation created on initiative of Zbigniew Niemczycki.
The scenery is equipped with an automatic installer. Currently we support a safe, manual way of adding new sceneries to Scenery Library in Flight Simulator. This is just one thing users need to do for themselves. Detailed instructions will be given during the installation process.

File Description:
Accurate rendition of the TIST and TISX airports. Includes accuarate gate numbering and locations for all airlines serving the airport as well as for general aviation aircraft. This is my continuing series of doing airports that have been neglected by both MS and the community. Hopefully this will enhance flying into this airport for those of you that frequent it. Unfortuantely there aren't many reference materials in terms of gate assignments or locations or numbering on the internet. I've flown in and out of this airport several times so most of this is from memory and a few shots I managed to find on airliners.net and jetphotos.net. It may not be 100% correct but it's pretty close and defientely a major improvement over the default scenery, which by the way...MS decided to place two large cell phone or radio towers right on the tarmac in front of the terminal, brilliant idea! If anyone out there knows of a way to remove them please e-mail me. Having said that, it's a beautiful island and a fun airport to fly into and out of. The St. Croix airport is also pretty much done from memory and a few photos since there isn't much reference material for gates, in this instance there aren't airline assignments to the gates since this is a smaller airport and the airlines pretty much are assigned random gates since there are only about a handful of gates. Again, though, definetely an improvement over the default. Now if only someone would do some landclass for the Virgin Islands ;-) Hope this enhances your flying into the sunny Caribbean!
