It is a tradition begun in 1923 and is inspired by an event of 1454, although there is no historical evidence. Douglas DC-4 from The High and the Mighty

File Description:
This is a repaint (textures only) of Jens Kristensen's fine DC-4. You need the original aircraft, dc4_v10.zip, to use these textures. I have attempted to replicate the DC-4 used in the film The High and the Mighty. It represents the aircraft used by the ficticious Trans-Orient Pacific Airlines for flight 420.
