The field is newly included in the Canada Flight Supplement. Unusually for a grass field the runway has the numbers marked out in white; given that this is a private airfield that does not invite unexpected guests and has only one plane based there, and presuming that the owner can remember his own runway headings, it is unlikely that these will still be there in a year's time. There is no hangar as yet. To the west is highway 416 and to the east is the Rideau River, both of which run north-south. Lke Rockcliffe (which is to the north) the airfield is right on the edge of the Ottawa control zone, so you should already be below 1,500 feet ASL when approaching from the south and talking to Ottawa tower when arriving from the north. The runway is 07/25 and 2,800 feet long, which should be enough for almost anybody, and the field is at 315 feet ASL. Manotick is a mile to the north east on the Rideau River and the Rideau Valley Airpark CPL3 is six miles south in the bend of the Rideau where it turns west.

| Knight Inlet CF36 float base in British Columbia, Canada |

File Description:
Knight Inlet is a floating lodge that organises "nature experiences", ranging from close encounters with local grizzly bears to fishing. Knight Inlet is to the north of "the narrows" where the Inside Passage gets squeezed between the mainland and Vancouver Island, and there is a chart section attached with a pointer to the location. At the bottom of the chart is Campbell River floatbase, and to the west is Port Hardy. Knight Inlet initially runs east-west, and the lodge is tucked into a smaller north-south offshoot, close to where the main inlet turns north. The water runway here is in the middle of the north-south offshoot, though of course in reality the "runway" is wherever the wind dictates it to be. The names highlighted in green on the chart are float bases to be renovated and posted with working AI. The buoyed log boom next to the lodge is to keep escaped logs from drifting in and colliding with boats; float plane pilots keep their eyes peeled too. Because of large hills adjacent to the lodge the landing of the AI may or may not take place, depending on wind direction and whether or not they fly into rock before landing. Take off and departure are far more reliable, particularly if the wind is from the south. Most of the AI is from Vancouver Harbour, Harbour Air Otters and West Coast Air Beavers, plus a SeAir Beaver from Campbell River and a private Cessna from the nearby Minstrel Island. This is the second in a series of new and renovated float bases in BC (the first being Sproat Lake) and to cope with the AI demands FSAddon have authorised the inclusion here of a bunch of AI Otters and Beavers that were originally part of a payware scenery for the area. This is the newest government mexican aircraft for the Fiscalia General de la Republica (FGR) (Attorney General´s Office), the aircraft of this package for now is only 1 Embraer ERJ-135LR with the registrations XC-FGR, the files contain only one texture. The Attorney General of the Republic is the head of the Attorney General´s Office and the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office of the United Mexican States, an institution belonging to the Federal Government´s constitutional autonomous organism that is responsible for the investigation and prosecution of federal crimes. and operated with the Embraer ERJ-135 aircraft with capacity for 37 passengers. | New Drag-Chute Meshes For Space Shuttle Fleet 3.1 |

File Description:
This is an mesh upgrade for the drag-chute mesh used in Space Shuttle fleet 3.1. This upgrade contains meshes for both the deployed and fully inflated drag-chute aswell as an mesh for the jettisoned drag-chute. Some facts about the drag-chute:
The orbiter drag chute was designed to assist in the deceleration system in safely stopping the orbiter on the runway after an mission or an abort. The drag-chute was first used on the orbiter Endeavour(OV-105) on STS-49. Subsequently the all of the other orbiter(Columbia, Discovery and Atlantis) was modified to be equipped with an drag-chute. The drag-chute is housed in an special compartment on the bottom of the vertical tail.

File Description:
The Dassault-Mirage F-1 was developed to address the shortcomings of the Mirage III, especially the shortcomings in handling. The F-1 CZ is the fighter-striker version of the F-1. Two paint schemes are provided; the first is the camouflage version of 3 Squadron of the South African Air Force during the late 1970’s and the second the low visibility gray used by the same squadron during the 1990’s. This aircraft features full animation (control surfaces, spoilers, landing gear & canopy), a dynamic virtual cockpit, checklist and full lighting effects. A custom-designed photo-realistic panel (with xml-gauges) is also included. If you would like to fly a supersonic fighter, this it it – this jet can really reach Mach 1.2 at sea level and Mach 2.2 at high altitude.

| USAAF B-24D "Kate Smith" 98th Bomb Group, 9th AAF |

File Description:
"Kate Smith" 42-40991 was a B-24D-120-CO which came off the production lines of Consolidated, San Diego. The art work depicts American Singer Kate Smith's theme song, "When the Moon Comes Over the Mountain". This ship was flown by the 1Lt James A Deeds to Ploesti on August 1, 1943. While taking part in the disasterous 98th BG attack on the Astra Romana-Phoenix Orion refinery complex, it took a direct hit in the cockpit area over the target at an estimated 250 ft of altitude. The aircraft caught fire in the bomb bay area and exploded mid-air. Miraculously, the copilot, 2Lt Clifton Foster was blown clear of the disintergrating aircraft and was able to open his parachute. Taken prisoner, he was the only survivor of the ten man crew.

Requires only the Flight Simulator X with Service Pack 2. This file also including modified files for "Direct Fly 1" to correct the path of the flightplan and giving the mission the correct ID for the category of a airliner mission.

This is the standard fs9 Cessna 172 with a custom panel to enhance learning the principles of Flight and Navigation. Large gauges are on the panel plus digital readouts for most of the gauges so that there will be no guessing of the readings. The view over the panel is 50% larger than the default Cessna 172. Not on the panel are most of the non-flying gauges such as fuel gauges, engine instruments, engine controls, etc. The intent was to keep the panel uncluttered. Thanks to Norman Hancock and Dave Bitzer for the non-standard gauge designs, and to Tom Goodrick for the great auto-start/auto-stop flight timer and to Kyle Copeland for the fine panel Bitmap.
