FSX Scenery--Death Valley. This scenery covers several areas of Death Valley National Park (CA). See the World's lowest golf coarse at Furnace Creek Ranch, the moving rocks at the RaceTrack, Scotty's Castle, Panamint Spring, and Stovepipe Wells. Custom designed buildings with photorealistic textures, night textures, and satellite image for the grounds. This scenery has been tested on FSX Gold Edition (FSX Deluxe and Acceleration Expansion Pack), FSGenesis 9.6 terrain mesh, and Win7 operating system. This archive contains a low resolution terrain image for use with FSFlightMax. Although this image is called low resolution, it is significantly clearer and of higher resolution than the existing image provided with FSFlightMax. The terrain imagery is used in conjunction with the map view in FSFlightMax to provide graphical terrain information during flight.

File Description:
These are replacement bgl's to convert five northern Canada fields for use with the FSGenesis 76m terrain mesh for northern Canada. The five are Edinburgh Island CWEI, the FOX-2 DEW line station, Horton River CWHR, Igloolik CYGT, and Kimmirut CYLC. These are not stand-alone, and the presumption is that you have already downloaded and installed the previously posted sceneries. This installation consists solely of replacing the existing scenery bgl's with the new. There will be further posts of northern airfields in groups of five, alphabetically, and observations regarding the amendments and any further corrections that are required would be welcomed.

File Description:
The area of Pt.Reyes in the San Francisco region are in the upper
right corner of the megatile abag. In the maximum level of details in FU3 we can extract one quart of a megatile to .md3 format to import in
Gmax. The level 3 terrain map can be used as texture over the plane,
so for an area of 129x129 height points meshes can be edited. This is an example converted and ready for a Gmax try.

Included are the 26 base textures plus many hundreds of variation and transition textures, which determine how the terrain is rendered when one texture adjoins another. Feel free to modify the textures or add new variation or transition tiles as you see fit.
