FS2004/ FSX Scenery Objects: Military Hangars and Buildings Library vol 3
This library adds a large number of US Air Force Alert hangars used for fighter planes in the late 1950's and 1960's to the 48 custom made FS2004 military style hangars, buildings, and objects from various locations in Vol 1 and 2. Many still exist on current bases. 3 types of Alert hangars are modelled in the new addition: Butler hangars, Strobel and Salzman, and Luria, all in open and closed versions. USAF document on uses and locations with photos supplied. by Dan French

File Description:
KEUG Mahlon Sweet Airport, Eugene, Oregon. This is a comprehensive enhancement which includes removal of the crosswind runway, new ground covering for the airport property, the addition of many hangers and buildings and a wealth of other eye candy which brings the airport to life. We believe you will enjoy "driving" around the airport as much as landing there!
This work is based on the recent update by David Marshall of the KEUG afcad by Reiley McKendrick and information from the airport website. Default objects were used where possible as well as items drawn from the EZ and RWY12 libraries. This enhancement works very well with the default FS2004 setup, and an alternative afcad for those who have Ultimate Terrain USA has been included. Please unzip (using folders option) to a temporary folder and follow the simple installation instructions. Compiled for your flying enjoyment by Ray Luning in collaboration with David "Opa" Marshall.

| RAF Bradwell Bay |
|
File Description:
RAF Bradwell Bay is a former Royal Air Force station located 9.5 miles (15.3 km) east of Maldon, Essex, England and 3.1 miles (5.0 km) south west of West Mersea, Essex.
The airfield was first used as grass landing strip for the nearby firing ranges before being turned into a RAF station with concrete runways and hangars. The station is unique as it was the only fighter station where the Fog Investigation and Dispersal Operation (FIDO) was used.
Part of the site is currently being used by the Bradwell nuclear power station. Several of the hangars are still used as storage by the local farmers and the control tower is now a private house. Agricultural buildings, built in the '70s and '80s on runways one and two, are now home to several local businesses.

| Dave's Aerodrome Airport (7NJ9), NJ |
|
File Description:
Located 01 miles SW of Cedarville, New Jersey on 43 acres of land, Dave's Aerodrome Airport is a private turf field 2000' with a 600' displaced threshold on Runway 12. Each runway has a clear 20:1 approach slope, but in the case of Runway 12 be sure to aim for a landing past the hangar! There are power lines running along the road at the runway threshold that are not just there for decoration - come in too low and FSX will register a crash. In real life they have red balls on them - unfortunately I have no way of adding those in the sim at this time. So be on the lookout while on approach. Also take note that it is a right pattern for Runway 12 and a left pattern for Runway 30. The windsock is located next to the hangar and is not lit. There are no lights at this airport so daytime VFR operations only are suggested. No services are offered for transient aircraft. There is no hard-surfaced runway, you will be landing on bare terrain so set your mesh complexity slider as high as it will go for the best effect.
Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview/aerial photos - the author has not been there in person.
This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New Jersey/Delaware 005. It is not required, but apron use is minimized to allow satellite scenery to show through as much as possible, and objects are placed based on the MSE textures - lack of it may make scenery look out of place.

| Metro Oakland Int'l (KOAK) with Active Crosswind Runways |
|
File Description:
A high spec AFCAD2 for the default FS2004 Metro Oakland Int'l Airport (KOAK). This afcad has been built from scratch using FAA Charts, various aerial photographs and information from the Airport Website. All runways feature real life lengths/widths and include overrun areas. All taxiways are named and all aprons are reworked to be as real as possible according to photos. All gates are named and have airlines assigned to them. As per real life, only Southwest Airlines will use Terminal 2, all other airlines being allocated to Terminal 1. The Fedex and UPS aprons are represented and can accomodate up to 20 cargo aircraft. The final parking area is random GA parking to the north of the airport. Overflow parking is also available for rush hour periods. This airport now features a tower view and also upgraded night and approach lighting. Finally, by using the crosswind runway technique, runways 9L/27R, 9R/27L and 11/29 can all be used simultaniously for take-off and landing. Runway 15/33 is closed as it is not used in real life. Enjoy!!

All taxiways are named and all aprons are reworked to be as real as possible according to photos. All gates are named as per real life and have airlines assigned to them. The Fedex and UPS aprons are represented and can accomodate many cargo aircraft. The final addition is random GA parking and the CO maintenance area to the north of the airport. Overflow parking is also available for rush hour periods (Ball Park). This airport features a tower view and also night and approach lighting. Finally, by using the crosswind runway technique, runways 04L/22R, 04R/22L and 11/29 can all be used simultaniously for take-off and landing. Runway 11/29 will be mainly used by CO Express flights. Enjoy!!
This afcad works with the Steve Whalin scenery only (Requires: kewr.zip).

| F-111A |
|
File Description:
The purpose of this up date is because of the restore issue at the AVSIM lib. Secondly, this version V1.01 includes a bug fix for the compass gauge and the logic of the sonic sound. This panel has been designed according to the F-111 Aardvark Pilot's Flight Operating Instructions document published by the USAF. The design goal was to develop a panel and gauges
as close as possible to the original aircraft. It was not possible to program all the functionsand sub-panels, because of the complexity of the system and because of limitations in FSX.
The panel is a 2D panel. The panel has been developed from scratch as well as all the gauges.
All gauges are programmed in XML with the ACE tool from the MS SDK SP2 package.
The aircraft model, development by Mike Stone, has been used as the model for this panel. The model is part of the package. Other models may by used as well. However, the Light section and Flaps section in the aircraft.cfg may be modified accordingly in order to meet the requirements of this panel. There is an SP1 and SP2 Version. There are no tooltips in the SP1 Version. For installation and functional instructions, please read the PDF-Document
F-111A-Panel-Documentation" which is included in the ZIP-File.

| Seaplane Racer for x-plane 6.6-6.7 |
|
File Description:
Seaplane Racer for x-plane 6.6-6.7 - This is the looser (by choice) of my two designs completed for the Seaplane Contest going on at www.x-plane.org. It is the fastest of my two designs capable of 500 mph in level flight at 1500 ft. Powered by two Rolls Royce Merlin V12 engines each developing 2200 HP. The rear engine drives 2- 9' diameter, pusher, four blade, counter rotating props; the front engine drives 2-7.2' diameter, puller, four blade, counter rotating props. Wing tips fold to reduce drag and allow the plane to meet the minimum 200 ft2 wing area. Remove the floats, shorten the landing gear by about 2.7 feet and do over 530 mph. Go to www.x-plane.org go to the forums and click on custom designs to find out more about the seaplane contest.
