VTOL/Hover gauge for Adam Preece' GR7 Harrier, V1.1

File Description:
If you use the previous version (RCBhcb10.zip): this version corrects a problem where the gauge gave problems when transitioning from hover to normal flight if you had loaded the aircraft in SpotPlane view. Plus some minor improvements. See README for upgrade instructions. This freeware gauge adds a whole new flightmodel and new VTOL & Hover featuresto Adam Preece' freeware Harrier. Besides true vertical takeoff&landing, it allows you to fly forward, backward, sideways and turn, while in a hover. This solution is based on overriding the normal FS flightdynamics while in a hover, simular to the implementation of catapult launch / cable arrest in my Carrier Operation Package; in short, it's a VTOL&Hover FDE coded in a gauge. Special thanks to Doug Dawson, who created a gauge that provides for overriding FS2004 variables from an XML gauge. Besides a VTOL controller, it also contains an effects controller plus visual effects, for things like wingtip vortex, directional engine smoke and a cannon. Requires FSUIPC (registered or unregistered). The README includes extensive installation and flying instructions. By Rob Barendregt.

WHM-Smoke-Gauge V1.0

SMOKE GAUGE V1.0 This little gauge will put the SMOKE system of your aircraft ON by default. After takeoff, at 3500 ft it will stop the SMOKE system, and turn it off. During descend, and below 3500 ft it will enable the SMOKE system again. Note: By virtue of Mr. Morad's untimely death, there will not be any technical support offered for this file.

Satellite Assisted Landing System Version 9

File Description:
FS2004 Gauge: Satellite Assisted Landing System, v9 (SALS). Using satellite data, this gauge provides glidepath/glideslope guidance into all runways inside the FS world. Approach heading and glideslope indicators are displayed during the landing phase in a fashion similar to those used with ILS and requires the same piloting techniques to keep the needles centered. Because SALS has the ability to guide an aircraft to both ends of a runway, every airport including grass strips and seaplane bases can be accessed with a high level of landing precision. In case of missed approaches, backcourse guidance is provided during climbout. Panel or separate window installation. Includes SALS icon gauge and Word doc with illustrated design parameters. B737 Head-Up Guidance System (HGS) Model 2350

File Description:
This gauge has been developed for FSX Flight Simulator Acceleration. It should also work with FSX SP1/SP2 . The functionality of this gauge is based on the Rockwell Collins HGS which is designed for the B737NG . It works correct for FSX B737-800 models only !! The gauge has been developed as close as possible according to the HGS Pilot Guide from Rockwell Collins for normal operations. The HGS can be used during all phases of flight from takeoff to landing. This can include Ground Roll Guidance, all enroute operations and either non-precision or precision approaches. This gauge is very realistic. It supports the pilot particular during approach operations to meet always precise the runway touch down zone by keeping a 3° glide slope angle. Even for a visual approach maneuver the HGS supports the pilot to establish and maintain the aircraft on the proper glide path to the runway without reference to a ground based landing system like ILS.
