Middle East Carrier Operations (MECOPS)

File Description: This scenery has been developed for FSX Flight Simulator SP1 or SP2. It has also been tested with Microsoft Acceleration , but compatibility is not guaranteed by the author. The scenery includes: Two carrier groups CVN68 and CVN69, ( carrier models from Javier Fernandez ), two AI KC-135 tanker aircraft, AI F-18A aircraft approaching the carrier, Navy destroyer and a Navy Cruiser as escort ships for the carrier, a number of oil platforms and the ARS4 radar gauge which displays air targets and boat targets. The ARS4 radar gauge provides also a auto landing function for the carrier and a auto tracking function for aircraft in order to support a A2A re-fueling. The scenery package includes as well the program Arrcab, developed by Richard Hogan, and the RCBCO gauge developed by Rob Barendregt. Arrcab or RCBCO are required to support a catapult start from a carrier and the cable arrestor function for a carrier landing. This is not a load and fly package. Please take your time to read the included documentation for the ARS4 gauge and the MECOPS scenery carefully. Do not skip chapters because you may think, they are not important for you. Do not start the installation of the scenery before you have finished the reading of the documents. For copyrights and credits please look at the documentation for this scenery.

Reverser Spray effect for FS2004 only.

File Description:
This new effect will simulate water or snow being blown when the reverser is deployed, elevating the landing experience on a wet runway. This effect comes with a gauge will automatically activate the effect only work when the reversers are deployed and if it is raining or snowing. Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum Gauge

File Description:
FS2004 Gauge: Reduced Vertical Separation Minimums (RVSM). This small gauge with a scrollable window is designed to give quick reference to all authorized VFR and IFR altitudes (to FL 590) based on the track of an aircraft. It also displays vertical separation requirements at each altitude. Magnetic tracks are monitored and and the active sector is indicated inside the West/East sector windows. The gauge is simple in operation with only two scroll buttons. The display screen is laid out to present all data in an understandable manner and to retain readability even at small gauge sizes. File Description: This project was born out of necessity to improve a very fun and an amazing aircraft, the Just Flight HS748. The objectives were to depict out of sight, hard to reach or sensitive information in an easier to read alternative. The lower panel is not based on any real panel or gauge, it was simply designed as so by me for easier reading of pertinent flight data. Whilst the top panel, is designed to replicate as close as possible, including how it functions, the 3D panel available on Just Flight HS748. These include: + Autopilot and its various dependencies. + Elevator, Aileron and Rudder Trim, and their information. + NAV1 and NAV 2, with a DME (Only available for NAV1). + Flight Director Trim. + Outside and Total Air Temperature in Celsius and Fahrenheit. + Aircraft Heading and Vertical Speed ft/min. + Autopilot Vertical Speed numbers from the Autpilot VS wheel in Degrees and ft/min. + Pilot Input Heading and Course (Only for NAV1). + KOHLSMAN Setting, or Barometer in Millibars or inHg. + Left and Right Pitot switches. + GPS Icon for easier access. + Radios Icon. + Nav and GPS switch. + Indicated Aircraft Airspeed. + Indicated Altitude(Feets).

Radio Range Panel for Vultee and DC3_RR FIX

File Description:
When I modified the radio compass for my Vultee panel from the CD3_RR gauge (DC3_Radio_Compass_NH3.cab) from the 1940 panel the in the origional DC3 provided with the full radio range program I forgot to rename it and now my new gauge shows up in there 1940 panel...OOPs! sorry guys. This is only needed if you installed my Vultee panel and want the origional two needle gauge back. The new single needle gauge works fine also.

Tri Altitude Gauge Info update

File Description:
FS2004 Tri-Altitude Gauge update. These revised instructions will correct the mistake in the Info.txt instruction file for this gauge. The incorrect instruction prevents the gauge from appearing in the aircraft panel. Glenn Copeland
