Updated Aerostar 'Spirit of Kai Tak'

File Description:
I have been asked to also upload the custom cockpit panel which I have designed (thanks to Harald Scheidl for the Yoke gauge, which I have modified for the Aerostar Yoke). I designed the panel using CFG Edit and there are some problems with it (mainly the selection of altitudes and direction when using the autopilot), which is why I have reverted to a standard Beech Baron setup for the FS2004 version of the aircraft. If anyone can suggest fixes to me for these problems, I would love to hear from them. In the meantime, you can use the panel as is.

"Crosshairs_Plus" Panel & Model Enhancement Package

File Description:
This is a panel & model enhancement package for the popular FinneyGround Crosshairs_Plus scenery placement tool (chplus.zip), by Gary Mills, Robert Finnegan, and Kevin Bryan (FinneyGround). This package adds a "panel" with a highly accurate XML "Scenery Placement Gauge". Also included is an additional Gmax model, considerably smaller in size and graduated in feet rather than meters. In addition to being an extremely accurate scenery placement tool, this aircraft is an absolute hoot to fly! A minimal 2D panel .bmp aids visual reference from the cockpit while flying the model. Requires "chplus.zip", also available here at Avsim.

Gulfstream IV Version 3 for FS2002

File Description:
Due to requests I received via e-mail and from reading the Forums, I did a Version 3 in order to fix everything that was asked for. Changes Include: New .air and .cfg file. It no longer flies like an F-15, fixed the Autopilot so it will now do an AP approach at any fuel load without falling to the ground (see notes), Autothrottle fixed, TO/GA fixed, Engine gauges are now labeled, Oil gauge now readable, Horizontal Stabilizer is now "Thicker", Fuel Flow more realistic, added a knob for the altimeter setting, rearranged some gauges, fixed some internal errors.

!!For P3D v4 only!! This is a mod for the payware Carenado Pilatus PC12. It adds external power to the airplane via a clickspot in the overhead panel. !!For P3D v4 only!! To activate the external power simply click at the top of the left AMP VDC Display in the overhead panel. EXT PWR will illuminate while it's activated. In order to use this you need the original payware Carenado PC12, Bert Pieke's panel mod and a gauge by Doug Dawson. These files are not included. The readme contains the informations where to get the required files and how to install.

Lockheed L-049A Constellation v1.2 FSX SP2/Acceleration Gauges/Effects Reinstaller

This file is for users who have downloaded the Lockheed L-049A Constellation v1.2 SP2/Acceleration, then un-installed the plane. An uninstall utility was inadvertantly added to the original setup.exe file. As a result, if you un-installed the v1.2 version of this plane, several default gauge and effects files were inadvertantly removed as well. This file puts those files back where they belong. Real Airbus A330/A340 Overspeed Warning

File Description:
This ist the first available A330/A340 overspeed warning sound. In reality you hear the master warning sound and retard callout at the same time, when you exeed the VMO (Velocity maximum operation).

This folder consists only a wave file. There is no gauge file inside. This wave file is an opportunity for you to replace unrealistic Airbus overspeed sounds. Overspeed sound for the A320 family will follow soon. If you want to replace your old sound with this one, you can use the windows audio recorder for example. Have fun!

Realistic Airbus Stall Sound or "Buzzer"

File Description:
This is the actual stall 'buzzer' that most Airbus aircraft have, as opossed to the various sounds that engine soundpack creators usually include in their soundsets. It uses the same british guy voice as the recognizable airbus altitude callouts. I cut the sound from a recording of an Airbus cockpit so that it loops neatly twice and converted it into a proper wave file to be used in FS2004. There is no gauge for this, as this sound file is meant to replace the current stall sound file in your Airbus engine sounds folder. Enjoy!

Complete Boeing 777 altitude callouts

File Description:
Since I uploaded the 777 callouts (777_callouts.zip), I've received emails asking if I could include callouts for the other altitudes, so here thery are. In this complete package, you'll find all the sounds in the earlier pack, as well as callouts for 2500ft, 1000ft, 500ft, approaching minimums, and minimums-the whole deal :-) This is an optional package. You do not need this if you've already downloaded the earlier one. I included the extra callouts just to make the set complete in case anyone wants to design a callout gauge.
