Boeing 727-200 Panel Upgrade Package

File Description:
Upgrade package for the popular Richard Probst v4 B727-200 panel (rp727pn4.zip). The new gauge set fixes some bugs in the original panel (see readme text for details). Also included are 4 unique and all-new, XML gauge tables that provide pilots with takeoff, climb, cruise, descent, and landing V-ref speeds - everything you need to know to realistically fly the B727-200. The XML gauges look like paper charts, similar to what actual B727-200 pilots use. User manual for the XML gauge tables included in MS Word format. Easy installation. Gauge fix by Richard Probst, XML gauge set by Charles Fox.

Auto Flaps

File Description:
FS2004 Gauge: AutoFlaps. This gauge is a continuation in the line of automatic instruments designed to make life easier in copilot-challenged cockpits by taking over many tasks that would normally be handled by an extra set of hands. When activated, AutoFlaps will raise the flaps after takeoffs and landings. The only input required from the pilot is to turn on the gauge prior to the takeoff or landing. AutoFlaps works at a very small size and should find room on any panel; however, an icon gauge is also included for those who prefer a big gauge in a separate window installation. Also includes instruction for editing the gauge to change default operating parameters. By Glenn Copeland

FSX Carrier Operation Package V3.0

File Description:
This freeware archive contains a set of gauges, effects and sounds which you can add to tailhook-equiped aircraft in FSX, and enables you to perform takeoffs and approaches/landings on aircraft carriers (static AND moving !!). It features: (1): A catapult gauge, enabling a catapult-launch takeoff. (2): An arrester gauge, enabling a cable-arrested landing. (3): A IFLOLS gauge, enabling accurate approaches and landings. (4): A SonicBoom effect (visual and audible) plus controller gauge. Includes extensive installation/usage documentation. Requires prior installation of FSUIPC. Besides true vertical takeoff&landing, it allows you to fly forward, backward, sideways and turn, while in a hover. This solution is based on overriding the normal FS flightdynamics while in a hover; in short, it's a VTOL&Hover FDE coded in a gauge. Special thanks to Doug Dawson, who created a gauge that provides for overriding FSX variables from an XML gauge. Requires FSUIPC4 (registered or unregistered, NOT included). The README includes extensive installation and flying instructions, including how to port your FS9 version of the Harrier to FSX.
