Beech 18

File Description:
New panels for Brian Gladden's excellent Volpar Beech 18. Both the Wheeled and Amphibian are included. The gauges were taken from the Baron 58 and the Mooney Bravoso so gauges shouldn't be an issue. There is only one gauge you might not have and that is included.

KLAS - McCarran Intl Airport, Las Vegas, Nevada

File Description:
This is an adaption of Ray Smith's (fsx_klas_rs.zip) scenery for KLAS. Ray has given me permission to make his file available for Prepar3D v3. There are two optional files, one file with the Crosswind runways operating where all 4 runways will be used for takeoff/landing and one file as the default P3D runway operation. Assigned parking for the gates and terminals now updated as per their website with extra parking including gates for the A380, the new control tower added, Air Cargo moved to its new location, taxiways and taxi signs updated to the latest charts, extra fuel trucks, support vehicle roads rebuilt and many other scenery improvements included. Airport views are from the roof of the new control tower (when in tower view) please view the readme before installation.

What does this update do? - New aircraft.cfg and L1649A.air for improved flight dynamics, especially takeoff and landing. - New panel files for modified gauges and basic VC layout. - Three VC texture files - New model file Installation (1) Make a backup copy of your existing "Flight Simulator 9\Lockheed_1649A" folder. (2) Extract the version 1.1a Update files to a separate temporary folder. (3) Copy the files to the required locations, overwriting or adding to the originals. The folder VNConnie1649A has all the necessary files so you should delete the current VNConnie1649A folder first. Simulated Aircraft Bubble Sextant Chart (addon)

File Description:
This is an add-on to the "dc3_bbsx.zip" Simulated Aircraft Bubble Sextant Gauge. While the simulated sextant determines the elevation to the star, it requires drawing lines of position on a chart to ascertain the latitude and longitude of the fix. The Global Navigation Charts (GNC) at scale 5,000,000:1 are suitable but not generally available for this purpose. This gauge simulates small sections of the proper chart, and automatically places the LOP from the sextant on the chart in the proper orientation. It includes installation and operating instructions, and an example flight description. Install the "dc3_bbsx.zip" first, if it hasn't been installed already.

Brisol Britannia Upgrade to Version 2

File Description:
Changes in Version 2 include several revised gauges which correct night-lighting effects and also deal with system crashes caused by certain gauges on PCs with ATI screen drivers in connection with v9.1 of Flight Simulator. Additionally, the digital indication of True Air Speed has been causing system crashes on some users' systems. Although no replacement gauge has been sourced, an option is now provided to omit this gauge in your panel.

If you are installing the panel for the first time, please use britpan2.zip for a complete installation.

Reno P-51 Mustang Effects

File Description:
Effects for GMAX P-51 D "Reno" Mustang. (Original design: Roger L. Dial. Flight Dynamics © Steve Small FSD. Sounds © Mike Hambly 6/2002.) As flown in FS2004. Effects include Air- Show style colored smoke ("I") key. New start-up smoke, individual exhaust-stack flames in four phases: orange start-up, soft blue @ idle, more flame @ cruise, even more @ max power. Flame size and brightness controlled by XML gauge using throttle position. Also wingtip vortex controlled by XML gauge using "G" force. Runway tire marks w/ optional "chirp" sound. Installation is manual but easy.
