Flying For Furs.....A Danger in the Mountain Gorges, Ravines, and Canyons of The Canadian West... Download

File Description:
Joshua Buckhorn is getting ready for his trip into the Canadian Wester Fur Route. As a trader of furs and FBO owner things up here in North Washington are hard in this year of 1949. Just 5 years ago he was flying a huge B-17 over Germany. Now a new life has brought him into the dangers on Bush Flying. As always before these flights, new oil and spark plugs must be placed in the plane, tyres must be just right and the fuel tanks got to be full to the top. It is 5:45 AM and a big breakfast is a must before the flight, eggs, grits, potatoes, ham, bacon and NO beans since the gas they produce will disrupt the fligh. And don“t forget the "P" Bottle.----I hope you know how to balance a plane with all those furs and hides you will acquire in this trip full of danger in approaches and take offs from, indeed, very dangerous fields. ( Bonus you get 4 new airports for future flights if the business pays off)..:)

LPPT by PPP, and EDDH Download

File Description:
AFCAD2 File for : Lisbon, Portela Intl Airport, Portugal ( LPPT ) for PPP Scenery of Portugals's LPPT, LPPR and LPFR airports. Although Runway 17/35 is rarely used, I have decided to open it for Take-off and landing . Primarily 21 and secundary 35 ( Can't make 3 and 17 work, though I haven't tested it with wind. Can be found on Avsim as ppp30.zip ( PPP version 3.0 ) All credits to the PPP team for LPPT/LPPR/LPFR sceneries, many many thanks . ( Not to bo used with the default scenery ) You may have to delete Airport.bgl in the scenery file of PPP, otherwise this Afcad file will not work . For that reason also back-up Afcad files for PPP's LPPR and LPFR included. Also included Hamburg, Fuhlsbuttel airport, Germany ( EDDH ) for Jan Martin's jtacof_4.zip ( Jetways & Terminals For ACOF Package Four ) ( can also be used with default scenery ) Primarily Runway 15 and secundary 05 ( again I am not sure if 33 and 23 work , haven't tested it with wind . Tested them in my own FS2004, and it works well . Have fun!

RAF Gutersloh ETUO Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
File Description: X-Plane 11 Scenery - RAF Gutersloh AB (ICAO: ETUO) The scenery represents the former airbase of RAF Gutersloh, one of the most populated military bases in West Germany during the Cold War, due to its location near the former East/West border. This scenery reflects the era at the end of the 1980s/beginning of the 90s, when the Harrier GR3 was in operation there, along with Chinook helicopters. The airfield was built in 1935 and was used by the German Air Force during WW2, flying the Junkers JU-86 and Heinkel H-111. The first British squadrons were stationed there from 1947, with Mosquitos, Vampires and then Canberras. The first Harrier arrived at Gutersloh in January 1977 and 3 and 4 Squadrons became resident until their farewell in 1993, after the cold war had ended. The airfield is currently used by the British army, but they will leave in 2014 to relinquish the area to the Government of Gutersloh for civil usage. High detailed scenery by Manfred Schyma and Pete Beeby, supported by the Airfield Construction Group. X-Plane Version designed by Dietmar Hanne

FSX/P3D Alisarda DC-9-14 1974 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This is a repaint of the DC-9-14 in Alisarda colors. The freeware Eagle Rotorcraft Simulations' (George Arana) DC-9-10 native FSX conversion with VC, of Erick Cantu's DC-9-10, is needed for this repaint (Link provided). The textures are 32bit DDS. It was tested on FSX-SE, but should work on FSX & P3Dv3. Alisarda took purchase of two DC-9-14s from Delta Airlines, I-SARJ and I-SARV, both of which were delivered on 11 January 1974. These DC-9-14s were among the first Douglas produced DC-9s that were delivered to Delta Airlines in 1966. With 88 seats and a much longer reach than the Fokker F-27s, the DC-9s were used for charter flights to West Germany. A new color scheme was also introduced with the introduction of the DC-9s. The green with white was replaced by a red with blue and yellow color scheme. In addition to the two DC-9s, the only remaining F-27; I-SARQ, was also equipped with this new color scheme. The DC-9s were eventually replaced by leased DC-9-50s in 1981.

LFBT Tarbes/Lourdes-Pyrenees, France Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Googly scenery for LFBT Tarbes - a normally quiet airport that just sees a few domestic flights a day but bursts into life for those of the the Catholic faith to participate in the pilgrimage to Lourdes. At these times it is served by a regular stream of charter flights and the airport can handle aircraft as large as the Boeing 747. The only scheduled flights are between here and Paris, normally operated by Canadair CRJ700 craft worked by Brittany Air International on behalf of Air France, but a huge range of charter operators - mostly from Italy, Ireland, Belgium, the United Kingdom and Germany - may be seen here at times and although seasonal this traffic represents 80% of the airport's entire annual activity.

The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on less-than-perfect satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look exactly like the real thing. You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without.

Avro Lancaster (NA-S) No.44 Sqn R5508 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the AVRO Lancaster by Aeroplane Heaven, in the colors of Lancaster B.1 R5508 of No.44 Squadron based on Waddington, UK, as flown by Squadron Leader John Nettleton from South Africa during the low-level daylight raid on the MAN factory in Augsburg, Germany on 17 April, 1942. It involved six aircraft of 44 squadron and six of 97 squadron, that had to fly some 1000 miles over hostile terrain in daylight at low level. Only two of 44 sqn and five of 97 sqn reached the target, and two more aircraft were shot down near Augsburg by flak. Four 97 sqn aircraft returned to base under cover of darkness, but of 44 sqn, only Squadron Leader Nettletons aircraft, although heavily damaged, made it back to the UK. Nettleton received the VC for this raid, F/L Penman of 97 Sqn the DSO. 8 DFC's and 10 DFM's were awarded to other crew members. Nettleton died on 13 July 1943, returning from a raid on Turin. It is believed he was shot down near Brest by a FW190 of JG.2. His body and those of his crew were never recovered. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Aeroplane Heaven.
