Royal Netherlands Navy (Marines) Bell UH-1C Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Nemeth/Milviz Bell UH-1C in Royal Netherlands Navy (Marines) liveries. In the 60's the Royal Netherlands Navy purchased a number of Agusta license built Bell-204 (UH-1B) helicopters for SAR, ASW and light utility tasks. This set of repaints resembles a "What if" Dutch version of the Bell UH-1C. What if the RNLN purchased a line of Bell UH-1C´s beside the fleet´s `Bravo´s in order to support the Dutch Royal Marines on deployment in the former Dutch New Guinea territories in the early sixties. With this line of helicopters maintained in service at other Marines/occupied locations in that timeframe they would have been seen at Zanderij (former Dutch Surinam), Hato (Curacao) and Valkenburg NAS, besides Biak, New Guinea. Though the paint/scematics are fictional, this is what they would have looked like; Olive drab, with Royal Netherlands Navy registration and markings, but with the distinctive Marine Corps logo at the cockpit doors. Some liveries have nose art, pointing back to the rich history of one of the oldest marine corps units in the world (since 1665). You need the payware Nemeth Design Bell UH-1C/H package for FSX in order to use these repaints. Qua Patet Orbis

FSX Grumman F9F RNLN VSQ860 EARLY Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This livery represents a fictional "What if" repaint of the magnificent payware Grumman F9F-5 by VertigoStudios in a Royal Netherlands Navy Livery. The aircraft resembles what it would look like if the Dutch government chose the Grumman F9F Panther over the Hawker Seahawk as their primary attack fighter operating from the sole Dutch Navy aircraft carrier from the late 40-ies till the early 60-ies; the HRMS Karel Doorman (CV, R81, Colossus Class). The Dutch navy operated two other aircraft carriers prior to this one (small MAC escort carriers, which were basically modified tankers), but the R81 was the first and only real aircraft carrier ever operational within the Royal Netherlands Navy, and to operate jet-fighters from. This particular livery of the F9F is in dark blue, as were other carrier-borne aircraft (like the Grumman TBM 3S2/3W2 Avenger) in the early days of post-WW2 RNLN operations. You need the payware VertigoStudios F9F for FSX in order to use this repaint.

FSX Grumman F9F RNLN VSQ3 LATE Download

File Description:
This livery represents a fictional "What if" repaint of the magnificent payware Grumman F9F-5 by VertigoStudios in a Royal Netherlands Navy Livery. The aircraft resembles what it would look like if the Dutch government chose the Grumman F9F Panther over the Hawker Seahawk as their primary attack fighter operating from the sole Dutch Navy aircraft carrier from the late 40-ies till the early 60-ies; the HRMS Karel Doorman (CV, R81, Colossus Class). This particular livery of the F9F is in a typical grey & duck-egg green pattern resembling all Dutch naval aircraft of that era, carrier- and land based. This livery with the "V" marking denotes that the aircraft has NAS Valkenburg as home base instead of the (back then) available aircraft carrier "Karel Doorman", of which all aircraft were marked with a "D". You need the payware VertigoStudios F9F for FSX in order to use this repaint.

Royal Navy Grumman F9F, HMS Ark Royal, 1957 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This livery represents a fictional "What if" repaint of the magnificent payware Grumman F9F-5 Panther by VertigoStudios in a Royal Navy Livery. The aircraft resembles what it would look like if the United Kingdom government chose the Grumman F9F Panther over, or together with the Hawker Seahawk as their primary naval (carrier based) attack fighter in the late 50-ies. This particular aircraft is in the colors of the HMS Ark Royal (R09) aircraft carrier based 898 Sqn, 1957. The real unit operated Hawker Sea Hawk FGA6's from the same carrier. You need the payware Vertigo Studios F9F in order to use this repaint.
